Loft vacation rentals in Malacca Strait

Feels like home and the host is responsive. He even allowed me to check out late without any payment.

My husband and I chose this Airbnb due to its proximity to a lot of famous local culinary (Village Park, Hot Bird, Pretty’s Hot, The Wagyu Tavern, Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu, etc.). It was so easy to get to those places. We did go to downtown KL once and it was less than 30 mins drive! As soon as we entered, we felt right at home. This unit is squeaky clean, free of clutter, and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a 4-night stay. Even the toiletries were amazing. Loo Yee is a communicative and responsive host too. Overall, our stay has been excellent and we were truly happy with the Airbnb.

Fantastic apartment in the middle of a great plaza with plenty of great restaurants, cafes and shops. And to top it all off Quinnie (and her dad) are great people. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you so much.

Great place to stay. Room was nice and clean. View from the window was also very beautiful. All amenities were nice and working. Only downside thing was my communication with the host a day before check in as I wanted to make sure of check in and preparation of the room before my flight but the response was very delayed. After that on the check in day after landing the communication was all good. Host also provided us a parking space ( we paid extra ). Over all the place is really nice.

Great place to stay. Near to IOI City Mall and they have a mall downstairs as well. The house is clean and comfortable. Easy check in and check out. The host is responsive as well.

Backyard Rio Loft was the perfect place for oyr Malacca getaway. Cool Air Con, and everything we needed for our little family. Perfectly situated by the river, walking to all major attractions was possible if so desired. On a quiet street, though the partying from across the bridge was noticeable in the lounge room bedrooms are better insulated. Victor was very helpful, and we coordinated our departure around their exit clean and room turnover. We would visit again if ever back in Malacca. Thanks Victor!

Great stay — good place to stay for family get together - cafe and shops nearby eg Family Mart, Kenangan Coffee, Coffee Bean, Amazon Café. Jogging/walking track by the sea next door. Will stay again when we’re in Penang 👍🏻

I really enjoyed my stay. There was an ample amount of space, the host was extremely responsive, and there was housekeeping every 3 days which ensured that I didn't have to buy any toilet paper, hand soap, or dish soap during my entire stay. I loved that cleaning was available if I wanted it. I also really appreciated the ease of access to the metro and how regularly it ran. I was even able to use it until about 1130pm a few times with no issues. I would definitely stay there again due to the service, location, and my personal experience.

We booked for 2 weeks and then extended for another 2 weeks. The place is big enough to comfortably live for longer period of time and feels like home. The building complex has a gym, tennis court and a very big pool. There are shops and restaurants also within the complex and a Grab ride to the city is very cheap. The apartment is on 39th floor and has amazing views from the bedroom window and also has a small balcony. You can prepare all meals in the very functional kitchen. All in all, extremely nice and absolutely value for money.
