Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Malacca Strait

highly recommend for those who comes from city and would like to feel staying in Kampung house (like me & do not have any families staying in kampung). Still maintaining the heritage of the original house yet modernised toilets for current context (I think city ppl will always hv toilets concern when gng holidays) I felt so peaceful & wish I could stay longer. There's a small stream that is kids friendly depth, also there's pool for the kids to enjoy. My family loved this place too. sadly no durian yet when I came (June'25). the receptionist says best time to come in Jul/Aug. Falling in love with Perak & Will definitely return again hopefully & try other houses (Rumah Kuning or Kuda).

It was a perfect place to stay connected with the nature while not compromising the comfort/ Without stepping out from the house, we could enjoy the tranquility of the nature. We all woke up early to c the sun rise n we felt we got few hours extra for the day. the nature walk was the highlights, not too tough, a great adventure and bonding time for the family in the jungle around the house, the caretaker even brought the first aids kit along in case emergency.. Kids were very excited spotted 3 siamiang monkeys.. The fully equipped kitchen met our cooking needs, just bring the food ingredient, all other utensils r provided.. The thoughtful n responsive owner, Joanne, setup 3 mattress at the loft where has the greatest view of the house, for the cousins all sleep together, they could even watch the sun rise from their bed.. She also gave good recommendations n sent reminder things to take note numerously to ensure we’re safe n comfort during our stay.. definitely will come back again..

Just one word for everything.. SUPERB!!! u will get what you paid for. Surrounded with peaceful and beautiful scenery made you feel calm from hustle of the city. I love how puan maria decorated the house.. Im in love! Private pool is the best.. We enjoying our time. The house also clean and well kept.toilet also spotless. Top notch for everything. Host was nice and friendly. The instruction provided was clear and concise regarding the accommodation. Place is clean and setup in a nice layout. House is located in a peaceful neighbourhood and easy to find. 24 Hr convenience store is a short 5 minutes walk.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was perfect for us, as we were looking for a place within walking distance to the beach that also had a swimming pool for the kids. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. However, the common area can get quite hot during the morning and afternoon. It would be great if more fans were provided. For the the dining area, installing blinds to block out the direct sunlight would make the space more comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. Right in front of the homestay, there’s a nasi lemak restaurant that opens at night.

Perfect place to spend a night in Bukit Lawang on a budget! Got everything we needed. The balcony overlooking the river is a great place to relax! Communication was easy and helpful!

Had a wonderful stay here - the building is modern with great amenities like an infinity pool, gym, and secure access. It's in a perfect location next to a mall and train station. The apartment was clean, comfy, and well-equipped with AC, washer/dryer, and smart TV. Rainee was a super friendly host and helpful with a great tour and local tips. Would definitely look to book here again if ever in Kuala Lumpur ☺️

We had a very pleasant stay at Farhi’s place. The house looks exactly like the photos, and everything matched the description provided. LRT Jelatek is just a 10-minute walk away, and the free car park was a great convenience. We stayed for 3 nights and truly felt at home. Highly recommended! And , there are a lot of information and reminders in the house too. We use those info provided in the house to get access to the places we want. Thanks Farhi! Will come back again!

After traveling to many countries and staying at many different Airbnbs, this was easily the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at and the best host I’ve ever had. The place is perfect for short term and long term stays. We arrived to the Airbnb at night and were greeted by Ng who went out of his way to provide us with dinner so that we can have a restful first night after flying in. The place is very spacious and had everything we wanted and needed during our stay. The space has a luxurious feel to it, with a great view of the Petronas towers. The living room and kitchen area were very nice, and the bedroom and bathroom were extremely comfortable. Location is great and so were the amenities. Fast working elevators in the building was also nice to have. Air conditioning worked well and bathroom shower had great pressure. We felt at home here and if we are ever in Kuala Lumpur again we will be sure to stay here again. Thank you, Ng!

We’d especially like to thank Adam, who kindly and patiently showed us around the property and made sure we felt completely comfortable. The view from the house was truly spectacular, both day and night. Everything was well taken care of, and the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable. The apartment itself was superb. Very modern and very clean. Also had access to mugs and utensils. Good sized refrigerator also. Fantastic views over Kuala Lumpur from both the apartment and the infinity pool. Would highly recommend. It was the first self check in hotel for me but the host communicated brilliantly.

But the real star of the show was the ball pit! The kids absolutely loved it and spent hours playing, laughing, and having the time of their lives. It is a nice play to stay. Wish we could stay longer but only stayed for a few hours due to our travel schedule. The host is extremely responsive. There’s security that screens guests so we felt safe and secure.

We had a great stay at Andrews place it was better a better location than we thought, the view from the apartment with the Petronas Towers in full view was spectacular

Very good value for money, has spectacular views and is away from all the noise of the city. Although there is not much life next to the apartment, you have a convenience store and a Starbucks self-service cafe in the lobby. Tomando grab arrivas in 10 minutes in the center

Spacious unit with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was a great bonus. Loved the view of the KL Tower right from the window — made the stay feel extra special. Would definitely recommend!

This place was truly an oasis in KL. Everything about this place was well thought out and functional. The air management with the two air conditioners and overhead ceiling fans was excellent.
