[Staying at Yamamura's house for one night] The brick wall has experienced the washing of the years, pushing the red door as if it opened the memory of the times, and what should be seen is a Japanese-style house with a chimney, which was built in the Japanese era, and the architectural style records the change and diversity of the times. Entering Huangpu New Village is like a paradise and quiet in the city, as if it has come to another time and space. Whether you want to experience the unique atmosphere of Yamamura, perhaps looking for a little inspiration in life, or want to soothe a tired heart in a busy day, or want to empty, daze, and waste? The red doors of the waiting lounge are here for you! - The rest house is located in Huangpu New Village, Fengshan District, Kaohsiung City. It is a symbol of Taiwan's first generation of family villages and a unique cultural settlement in Taiwan. It was originally a military family house during the Japanese rule. After the national government took over Taiwan, it was moved by the family of the national army. Therefore, it spawned a special building scene after the integration of traditional Japanese architecture and Chinese life, and it is also one of the unique characteristics of all Taiwanese family villages. Saved by the Kaohsiung City Government in 2013 and opened in 2018, the “Homestay for Caregivers and Families” program also gives us the opportunity to invite more people to stay in this old house full of historical value. We chose to use the old and new ways of communion, without destroying the original old house structure, the reconstruction of the cultural type and the improvement of the functional structure, and we hope that in this way, in addition to making the guests comfortable, you can also experience the beauty of the old days in this environment, you are welcome to stay in the village for one night.

There is an elevator to take the MRT or go directly to the house, which is very convenient for accommodation and luggage. There is a long balcony on one side of the house with a washing and drying machine, which is convenient for private drying of clothes. On the other side is a large terrace with a beautiful garden outside.
