What can I say about the cottage "La Loge"? Edith and Alain are never short of kind courtesies. As soon as we arrived, these two beautiful people showered us with attention by offering us an excellent meal made with fresh and local products. As for breakfast, it's just as delicious as it is complete. With availability at all times, we were best advised on the historical sites not to be missed and the good restaurants nearby. The place is beautiful and the pool is excellent. In two words: Magnificent experience. A big thank you to Edith and Alain. Fabienne and Pierre K.

Lovely hotel in the centre of town right next to the Abbey. Secure parking available at an easy distance. Hotel restaurant had a great menu, lovely food, and very friendly staff.

The setting and hospitality are exceptional! Very friendly and responsive hosts. We recommend it 100%!! The pool and view are magical. The house has a living room big enough for 6, especially since we spend our time outside! The bedrooms with their bathroom are very comfortable. Kitchen is small but functional and well-equipped. The center of Chinon is a 10-minute walk away (it's hilly).

Very pleasant stay and a cordial welcome. A very comfortable bed because it is very firm. A swim in the pool to cool off, everything was great.

A safe haven in Saumur! Hearty breakfasts, spacious room decorated with care and impeccable cleanliness, a warm welcome with very attentive staff. The Spa is a true plus! We particularly enjoyed the view of the hot tub on Saumur Castle! If we go back to Saumur, we will book again at this beautiful hotel!

Absolutely the best location for l’Abbaye. The staff were very good and there is a great vibe there. We found ourselves in a spot of bother with one of our motorcycles and Gavin and Kian the gardener/handymen came to our aid. Without their help we would probably still be there. We would highly recommend La Croix Blanche for singles, couples or families. We had a great time there

Amazing location (view of the Château de Saumur when you're in the jacuzzi, it's fantastic). Flawless room. King's breakfast. A welcome that lives up to the establishment, very pleasant staff, smiling and taking care of customers (receptionists, morning staff). We'll definitely be back!
