Private room with peaceful surroundings, Mars Hill

Had a very enjoyable stay at Ron's awesome cabin. Ron was very helpful and was able to give us tips on where to visit during our weekend stay. Service was spotty at the location and the wifi wasn't working, but he let us know when we arrived and it wasn't a big issue because we could get a bar of signal, occasionally. He said he was working on getting the service provider out to come fix it, so hopefully the issue will be resolved soon. Ron provided some fresh fruits, coffee, oatmilk, oatmeal, etc. which was nice of him. It was one of the only places available that was within an hour of Asheville for a couple days up until we booked it, but I am honestly glad it came to that, because it provided a lovely stay at a more remote location with a very unique and hospitable host. Thank you Ron!

My friends and family absolutely loved staying at this beautiful property! The house was perfect for us in every way. My kids were completely obsessed with the game room, we hardly saw them because they never wanted to come out! Everything was so well done and spotless, I honestly found myself worried about messing anything up. Seth was responsive and helpful, especially when we had a few questions about how to use the movie theater (which was such a fun touch!). We’re already planning our return trip this summer when the pool is open....we can’t wait! Could not recommend this place enough. Thank you Seth for such a wonderful stay!

Private room with beautiful views-Mars Hill, NC

SherylRating, 5 stars45 months ago
Ron and his dog Daisy are wonderful and thoughtful hosts. His gorgeous home rests on a large private plot nestled in the woods and has a creek and small ponds on the property. Ron provides guests with a continental breakfast and along with stories of his past adventures. Guests can enjoy the outdoors, fish in the ponds or explore the nearby town of Mars Hill, the Appalachian trails or downtown Asheville. We made ourselves at home and used every feature available in Rons place. Ron's place has a stay home stay feel, guests may share the space with other guests to include a shared washroom. Rooms have key and locks, linen and towels provided, if you need anything else I'm sure Ron can accommodate. We plan on returning for a future stay.

Asheville Four Seasons Private Hot Tub & Dry Sauna

DeborahRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We were so lucky to find this place about 2 miles from my Son’s house. After a short ride on some windy, hilly roads (not bad at all) we arrived in a lovely neighborhood. As hosts they were friendly and helpful and more than generous. They supplied breakfast foods, water bottles, and other food stuffs that were more than welcome after a long drive. The Airbnb was spotless and welcoming, bed (master, we didn’t use the other bedroom) was extremely comfortable. Of course the hot tub was a huge bonus that was also a welcomed perk. Barbara and Steve were there when we arrived and were More than gracious. From start to finish our visit was perfect. We felt right at home and access to downtown Weaverville and Asheville was a breeze. We will definitely return.

Peaceful Creekside getaway close to everything

CrystalRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This place is seriously magical. After a long day in the car, we were more than ready to relax—and wow, did this place deliver. The property is absolutely stunning, with lush gardens, beautiful landscaping, and the warmest welcome we’ve ever had (shoutout to the hosts waving to us from the river!). We were immediately charmed by the chickens, geese, and sweet cats just roaming around. It was the cutest thing ever. The space itself was perfect for our weekend girls’ trip—cozy, peaceful, and super comfortable. The host was lovely, though we didn’t chat for long because, let’s be honest, we were on a mission: food. We zipped over to Weaverville (only about 6 minutes away) and had an amazing dinner at The Glass Onion. Great vibes, great bar service, and incredible food. Back at the property, we made it down to the river just in time for sunset. We literally sat in the river while geese paraded by and fireflies lit up the trees around us. The beds were really comfy too! Highly recommend!
