Wait.. there is no option for 6 stars!?! Wow, where to begin!?! From check-in to check-out, our group had a fantastic time. Our host was super friendly and easy to connect with at all times. Our group had 8; 6 adults, a teen & a child. Everyone was entertained at all times from the karaoke machine, the games, the hot tub, the firepit, the kayaks & canoes, the swimming, and the stairway to haven, which was truly breathtaking taking!!! The town of Halliburton was a short 10 minutes away where we enjoyed some shopping, lunch & coffee. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary; 78 & 73 years young and they rocked that staircase several times! We frequent Air B N Bs often and this is by far my new favourite. There is already talk of a return visit in the future. Highland Bliss is gourgeous, loaded with all the amenities, is spotless, super comfortable and my family is so thankful to Marcia for allowing us to visit her beautiful space and create lasting memories!

from the moment we arrived we knew we had found a gem. from.the clear communication to the immaculate cottage with gorgeous views and crystal clean hot tub, we were sold !!! Highly recommend!!! will be back as soon as we are able .

This place was beautiful and right on the water. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had enough kayaks to have fun in the water. The location was very private and peaceful.

We had an amazing weekend getaway with 10 of our closest friends! The place was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and perfect for a group. The kitchen was well-equipped, the common areas were great for hanging out, and we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing group stay!

Janice’s cottage was amazing and was even better in person! It was spacious enough for our group of 9 girls and had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing weekend. Janice was super helpful and responsive, and there were tons of amenities and things to do. We had the best time and made great memories. Highly recommend!

Chorong was a great host! Leading up to our stay she was extremely responsive as I had a lot of questions! The house itself was stunning. Clearly it is taken care of and maintained very well. All of the beds were so comfortable. Outdoor area was a lovely space. Would definitely like to come back in the winter as I am sure the scenery is beautiful.

This is a great Haliburton cottage! So many amenities and opportunities for fun. Well stocked with everything you could possibly need and a highly responsive host! Don’t hesitate to book for lots of family fun!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A perfect getaway! This cottage was an absolute dream. The location is peaceful and private, with stunning lake views that made every moment feel like a retreat. We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee on the dock and ending the evenings in the hot tub, sauna and lake under the stars. Great swimming in a very clean fresh water lake. The space was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to fun extras like kayaks, paddleboards, and a great firepit area. You can tell the hosts really put thought into creating a welcoming, relaxing environment. Communication was smooth, check-in was easy, and the little touches throughout the home made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature!

Bongopix is an incredibly unique and wonderful place to stay. The cabin was peaceful, comfortable, and was so full of character. When the weather was good we went for incredible hikes, when the weather was bad we watched videos and played snes, it was absolutely perfect. The bar served delicious food, drink, and we got to hear some great live music. As hosts, Bongo and Andrea were friendly, helpful, and we felt incredibly welcome. Such a great find in the area and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in the area.

Kiki's place is like a little piece of heaven with a lake attached to it. If you want quiet, comfortable, and cosy, you don't have to look any further than this.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Killaloe! The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The host was very responsive and communicated in a timely manner, which made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The kayak and canoe were great additions—we really enjoyed paddling on the water. The backyard was spacious and perfect for relaxing or playing around. The deck was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and the firepit made for some cozy evenings under the stars. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in nature with all the right touches!

We had a great stay at Kate’s place. It’s a very rustic house on Friaser Lake. Amazing views of the lake from the dining and living windows. Nice sized patio and deck out onto the lake. Beds were comfortable. Having a dishwasher is a plus on vacation. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it if you want an awesome lakeside experience. Fire pit by the water is magical at night. They were great communicators and the price was great. Thanks again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and quiet and private. It was beautiful to lay in bed and listen to the wildlife as we headed off to sleep. It was so cozy by the wood burning fireplace in the evening . The historical pieces that were included in the decor and the books about the history of the house were a nice touch. Highly recommend hiking at the Eagles Nest trail near by.

The cottage was immaculately clean (and I'm fussy !). Well organized, tastefully decorated with a beautiful view of the lake.... The sound of the waves lapping up on the beach while sleeping is really lovely! Would love to go back.

We stayed at Cherry’s for two nights with a group of 8 adults and 2 small dogs, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The home was beautifully decorated, clean, and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Cherry was a fantastic host—friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out comfortably, whether we were relaxing on the porch, enjoying the BBQ area, gathering in the dining space, or unwinding in the cozy family room. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking and group meals super easy. We also loved the private dock and the scenic trail leading to it—though it was too chilly to swim, it’s definitely a highlight for warmer months. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Cherry’s place to others looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

We had an amazing weekend celebrating my dad's 70th birthday at this beautiful, secluded property! Hershel was super friendly and communicative from booking through check-out, even giving us great local recommendations when we arrived early. The place was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—towels, linens, kitchen and BBQ supplies, toiletries, WiFi, and even a TV (though we didn’t need it!). We loved the private river for fishing, the sauna, fire pit, trails, and the stunning views. The check-in guide and house manual were clear and helpful, making everything easy to navigate, and the check-out process was stress-free. A welcome bottle of wine was also such a thoughtful touch! There was so much to do in and around the property, and though we drove three hours to get there, we’d do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped retreat surrounded by nature. Thank you Hershel and Tiferet for an unforgettable getaway!

Wow!!!! It’s even prettier than the pictures! Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We were a large family of 8 adults and there was more than enough beds, towels, dishes, glasses, and cutlery for us all. 🙌 The kayaks were fun, the fire pit was lovely, and the dock was so picturesque. Summers in Canada = mosquitoes & blackflies, so bring bug spray and/or thermocells obviously 😉 Our host was gracious, kind, and responsive - a pleasure to deal with! We can hardly wait to visit again! 😃

I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

We had the best weekend! The house is perfect. Fully equipped with everything you could need and decorated so lovely- I can’t think of anything I’d want different. The location is idyllic- peaceful, beautiful, yet very convenient to get to lovely local trails. Peter was incredibly friendly and quick to respond. I hope we get an opportunity to return as we would 100% recommend it!

Chantyle's cottage was a great find for our family. While it was basic and nothing fancy but that is just what our family loves. We basically only need a spot to sleep and cook, other then that we are outside enjoying the nature we are surrounded by, and this spot was perfect The beach was perfect for swimming, crystal clear, and shallow so the kids could walk out for quite some distance. On top of the beautiful area and comfortable rustic cabin we were greeted by a very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful campground manager Phil and his wife Tanya. Helped us with things we needed right away and gave us suggestions on places to check out that our kids ended up loving....overall amazing experience thanks for having our family stay it was a great location and great place. friendly seasonal campers as well. our family will definitely be back ?

Our stay at the Eh Frame Haus was awesome. The cabin is beautiful and private and the property is spectacular. We loved the private dock, hot tub and big living room-was roomy for 4 of us, but definitely enough space for 6 or more. Janessa was a great host and check-in and everything was easy. Can’t recommend this place enough, we had a great time!

Neverland was just what we needed. I peaceful, pristine, simple place engulfed by nature. Our three boys spent 95% of the time fishing down at the dock or kayaking around in the lake. Dad and I enjoyed sleeping in, in the coziest, most unique bedroom we have ever stayed in. The coffee + tea setup was wonderfully welcomed surprised. We will be back!! If I could answer questions for future guests I would be happy too. We had the opportunity to meet Peter and the end of our stay, and he is just as we had imagined, kind, calm, and hands on. He did build this place by hand after all. A must stay.
