Johnnycake Flats Inn was the perfect New England getaway! Debra and her husband Jim are wonderful people and the best hosts. Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast that kept us fueled for the day. Jim is great at offering up places to visit and mapping everything out for easy navigating. If you are looking for a peaceful, homey place to stay, with fantastic hosts, look no further!

Mountain Meadow View describes the serene beauty that surrounds this lovely home perfectly. It was clean, comfortable, & Walter is so welcoming. On discovering it was my birthday he suggested an impromptu celebration soon after our arrival. We celebrated by overlooking the meadow at the ‘Camels Hump’ (top of the mountain) with nibbles, drinks, and laughter. He has a great sense of humour and volumes of local knowledge of things to see, what is going on & where to eat. He recommended a local restaurant that turned out to serve some of the best tuck we had during our road trip. But it did not compare to the breakfast we shared with the other guests. He offered a choice for breakfast, checking first if anyone had allergies. A choice of frittata which was scrumptious or orange French toast which was equally sublime. We choose both! Everyone was sharing stories, life experiences, & travel advice over breakfast. Honestly, staying at Mountain Meadow View was one of the high points our trip!

We stayed at Sallie’s bed and breakfast for the weekend and went skiing in Killington. The place was beautiful and warm. Sallie was a great host and makes amazing French toast!

Issy was so welcoming and friendly. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean with plenty of room to spread out. I felt entirely at home! Highly recommend!

Zelia's place was better than expected. We were so lucky there was availability! Do not hesitate to book. Absolutely recommend.

Josh and Ann are great hosts with a wonderful lodge. It was so cozy and they had breakfast and a really great lounge with a fireplace and even a basement game room with a bunch of games to be played. I’ll certainly be staying at the lodge again. Thanks!

I travel for work and typically have to spend time in Rutland a few times each year. Normally I stay closer to town, but decided to try Susan's based on the listing. It is in an old house surrounded by farmland. Very much a typical B&B, Susan greeted me when I arrived, and showed me the space. She was welcoming and the place was cozy. It would be a good spot to stay if I had more time to visit.

What a gem! We had an incredible stay and felt right at home for the holidays! It was spacious and had all the amenities, plus the charm and character of the old inn. The location was perfect, both for landscape views and day trip travel. We took full advantage of the connector trail to the state park. We hope to visit again!

Cozy rustic room with comfortable bed after a day of skiing! We initially were disappointed by the bare bones furnishing and the large gaps between their wood floorboards. However, the delicious breakfast, helpful hosts, and beautiful location won us over.

We had a great stay at Hearthwood! Blissfully quiet and clean. Definitely one of my top Airbnb experiences! Lara is a fantastic host. She puts a lot of care and love into her b&b. It is easy to see why so many folks are repeat guests! The room was super relaxing and comfortable, we slept very well, and on top of all of this, we met some wonderful people in the shared space! We hope to be back again!

It’s always a treat to stay at the Partridge House!

Originally I had been a bit hesitant to book something a 20 minute drive from downtown Burlington, but this could not have been a better spot! It was peaceful and quiet, yet still had great things a very short drive away. Fiddlehead & Folino's pizza made a great late dinner on arrival day. Shelburne Farms was such a treat to explore. Burlington wasn't too far of a drive, and we were close to hiking. We hiked both Mt. Philo and Camel's Hump! Lara was great at communicating and had excellent suggestions. The room and bathroom were both big and clean. The place was quiet despite being busy on Memorial Day weekend- the sound insulation is good! The kitchen was really nice to have and DIY breakfast was good: eggs, OJ, milk, toast, etc. I would definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

I had a wonderful time staying here. My room was peaceful and the location is serene. It was a lovely communal atmosphere in the kitchen and common areas which added to my experience while I was there. Would recommend and look forward to returning some day!

Amazing value. Cleanliness and climate control is really important to me when traveling~ everything was so antique and awesome but so clean. The room was a very lovely temperature thanks to the window fan I borrowed and the room was very clean!!!! As a bonus, the other two hosts~ pinky and buddy~ were my absolute favorite!!!!!! Great place to stay.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The place was spotless, and the host went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were incredibly hospitable and quick to respond to any questions we had. It truly felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again – highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed 3 nights at Willow Pond B&B and it exceeded our expectations. The property is probably the most pristine and scenic we've stayed at for an Air BnB. We were hosted by Saskia, the owner's daughter. Saskia was very welcoming, provided wonderful tips and baked delicious pastries. The B&B was super clean and comfortable. The house looked out onto Willow Pond, Le Duc Farm and rolling fields. We enjoyed a stroll on the grounds the first day before heading into Burlington, VT, about 20 minutes away. We visited the farmer's market and rented bikes to explore the Burlington bike path and Colchester Causeway, a trail that takes you into Lake Champlain. After 20 miles of biking, we stopped at the Skinny Pancake for a crepe and coffee. That evening, we ate at Paulines, per Saskia's recommendation, which was a short drive from Willow B&B. The food was top notch. My husband had the schnitzel and I had the scallops. We enjoyed some wine, soup and salad and the price was very reasonable. The next day we drove to Camel's Hump State Park about 35 minutes drive and hiked to the summit. Amazing views. On our final day we visited Shelburne Farms before heading back home to Massachusetts. We would definitely love to visit Willow B&B again, next time with the family. It is conveniently located, has amazing views and welcoming accommodations. Kimmie's place was amazing. If you're looking for a place to stay in Central Vermont, then I highly recommend it. My husband and I had the ski suite, and it was so beautiful, clean, comfy, and well decorated. Kimmie is a great host, very communicative and accommodating, she made us feel very welcome and comfortable!

Great stay in the barn at Wise Pines! Chelsea gave super clear instructions and the welcome guide was very helpful! We had a private room which was cozy (especially with the provided space heater) and clean. We appreciated the white noise machine since our room was right next to the shared bathrooms and kitchenette. Overall great place to stay and I'd love to come back and stay for longer!

We were welcomed by our charming host. Kimmie is fun to talk to. The old house has a lot of charm in a lovely neighborhood. We took many walks to enjoy the town. Loved the cheese and bacon puffs for breakfast. Thanks, Kimmie
