We had a lovely stay at The Rusty Nail. The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. We were fortunate enough to even have a early morning rain that sounded wonderful on the tin roof. It was a great weekend spot for my husband and I.

Amazing Lakefront home with private NEW dock

AngelicaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Absolutely perfect. We stayed for the week with our five kids (6,4,3, & 1 year old twins) and had an amazing family vacation. The space worked perfectly for our needs as a large family with small kids and the beach area was especially perfect for toddler playtime. The waterfall across the way was stunning and we loved boating around, fishing, swimming, fires by the lake, and rainy evenings in the hot tub. Such an amazing place for families!

Chic and Peaceful Cottage 5 Min to Main Street

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had the best weekend at the cottage. Easy, quick drive to downtown highlands. Some highlights - The pizza oven was great for making pizzas, grill was fantastic for grilling steaks, fire pit for s’mores and the Hot tub was used several times. The kids loved the bunk room. The house was beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. We hope to be back soon!

Modern Mountain Stream Overlook

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great stay in Highlands! A few things to note - the mile drive after you get off the main road is gravel and there’s no service. There was also no Uber/Lyft but we were driving so no issues there. Just a couple things to plan for during your stay! Overall, amazing place, extremely clean, & great communication with host. Would 100% stay here again!

The Cozy Cub On Laughing Bear, Fiber Optic WI-FI

TaraRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Holly was extremely responsive and helpful. The cottage was much cuter and cozier than the photos depict. It was very quiet and tucked away in the beautiful NC mountains. The parking spot is a little short, but our minivan did fit. The road to the cottage is dirt and could be a little challenging for a small low riding vehicle. We did not have problems. We love the country so we took these things in stride. She had many small additions that made arrival and the stay special like caramels, tea, and coffee choices. You could tell by these additions and her exemplary communication that she wanted our stay top notch! We would highly recommend this cottage.
A serene view of a pond is framed by tall trees and lush green foliage. The clear water of the pond reflects the surrounding nature, creating a peaceful and inviting outdoor setting. The image captures the tranquility of the area, perfect for relaxation.

River Love ❤@ The Barn *Highlands Trout Fishing

TylerRating, 5 stars2 months ago
DON’T miss your chance to experience the magic of the River Love barn. Kangee’s EXCEPTIONAL hospitality throughout our time in her home set the tone for the entirety of our stay. Her attentiveness & genuine warmth made us feel right at home. The beauty of this property is truly beyond words. While the photos online are stunning, they don’t fully capture the enchanting atmosphere that envelops you as soon as you step onto the grounds. Our favorite spots were the clawfoot tub, perfectly nestled in a private, serene area of the property & the outdoor hammock within the screened in back deck. Kangee truly brought the outside in with her thoughtful design. Even on a rainy day- the sky lights during a storm that had passed through was such a reminder of the cozy atmosphere that permeates the barn. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful getaway or a relaxing family trip, the River Love Barn is a hidden gem that I cannot recommend enough. We left feeling refreshed & inspired, with hearts full.

Little Bear Creek Franklin/Highlands/Smoky Mts.

NancyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Little Bear Creek was delightful ! The house was immaculate with so many surprises- a basket with s’mores supplies, extra chips, lots of spices, extra beach towels, picnic blanket and cooler, shampoos and conditioners, lots of games for kids and adults and even the cloth tablecloths was a nice touch!! My grandchildren loved the creek area-especially the tree phone! The beds were comfortable and the addition of multiple charging ports in each room was very helpful. Patti was quick to respond to my messages. We thoroughly enjoyed being there! Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for our annual mountain trip with our grandchildren!!

Modern Mountain Getaway. Quiet & close to town.

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Effortless process and wonderful experience. This place is exactly as as shown in the photos and even more quite and peaceful than expected. The house and the decor are so thoughtful and inviting we didn't want to leave. The screened porch and open deck extend the small but generous living spaces outside perfectly. The loft is a great retreat and with a great selection of games we made use of. We were (4) people and we had plenty of space for cooking, dining and relaxing. We will stay again and highly recommend!

Authentic Log Cabin in the Smokys

NadyaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely place, felt right at home from the start. House layout was great, with plenty of privacy and cozy common spaces. Hosts were very responsive leading up to and during our stay and you can tell they truly care about the place. My 4 year old loved the bunk beds, a pack & play and a high chair were provided for the 1.5 year old which was nice. Driveway is steep but manageable - for reference, our Kia Caravan is not AWD and we needed to roll back and start over the first time (host DOES warn you that you need 4WD/AWD so it's totally on us) but Honda CRV has no issues going up and down. Highly recommend visiting the Road to Nowhere - unique story and an easy to moderate hike at the end even with small kids. Quaint nearby towns of Sylva and Bryson City were a treat as well. Overall a great memorable experience.
