We stayed at Sonya’s place for 2 nights. It was as described in the listing and perfect. The fireplace and electrical heaters worked well and were very helpful in weathering the cold. Overall, an amazing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The outdoor fire pit was wonderful, the place was very well stocked, and very peaceful.

Alex's house is on a hillside by Lake Tekapo. The scenery is great, and we can see the lake view of Tekapo. The house is similar to a wooden house, and the decoration is very unique. We like it very much. On the night we came, Tekapo was very cold. Alex turned on the heating for us early, and we felt very warm as soon as we entered the door. ☺️ Alex is also a responsible and careful landlord. He replies quickly and communicates pleasantly. We had a warm night in winter.

The house is located in a quiet area, and is great value for the area. It’s also well equipped (including kids toys in one of the rooms). It was nice to be able to have a washer (detergent included) as well as a fireplace. We felt really cosy in the house, once we had the fire going! Definitely recommend. Thanks Ben!

Such a beautiful home, you can definitely see how a real family in NZ upbringing close to nature, plenty of memories. Such a warm and sweet family. The fireplace and stag head definitely adds a lot of character to home. The rain shower felt amazing, and the bath tub with view definitely melts away your sore body and feet after a long hike. The view of the mountain really breathtaking. The kitchen is very well equipped and the fridge is big enough for a family. We stay for 3 nights and really enjoyed that we took a day off just to stay home and just chilling. At night with clear sky you get to see the Milky Way, shooting stars and even aurora! Definitely one of our unforgettable highlight in NZ trip!

We had a fantastic stay at Ambica’s Airbnb in Fox Glacier! The accommodation was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable — the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the stunning glacier region. Ambica was a wonderful host, very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was peaceful yet close to all the main attractions, and the little thoughtful touches throughout the home made us feel truly welcomed. The lodge fully accommodating to all our needs as a big family. The sleds in the garage were at our disposal and the 3 surrounding properties made for perfect slopes constructions. There were plenty of board games to keep the kids entertained and the views of the lake and mountains were impeccable. House was nice and spacious and definitely felt like a home more than a house. Will definitely come back next year.

Lovely spot with everything you need. Perfect location near supermarket & not far to town. House was warm & inviting. Hosts were friendly, helpful & went the extra when we needed to get in earlier. So grateful. We would absolutely stay here again. Spa was such a treat too!

We made a huge mistake when only booking this place for part of our stay. My thought was to jump around the South Island with my family at a couple stops. Had I known it was this awesome, then I would’ve booked our whole time at Anna’s. This place is exactly what my family loves. The kids will definitely be complaining about where we stay next. This property is AWESOME.

Wow I don't even know where to begin. Lou and Dion were so warm and welcomed us into their house (which is situated on the farm). The highlight of our stay was the farm tour. Highly recommended for BOTH kids and adults. It's a separate fee of 250nzd at our time of stay and it was well worth it. Dion took us up to his farm up on his 4WD and we went up the mountains where the views are unparalleled and we could get up close and personal with the cows, sheeps, and his sheepdog as well. He shared personal experiences as well as interesting facts about the farm. This beats and commercial stay or visit to a farm. Lou was also very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We met with a situation where our car was in a ditch and Lou was so kind to send her nephews Isaac and Hamish to help tow us out of the situation. My family is extremely grateful for their help and hospitality. If you're visiting lake tekapo or any of the surroundings, just stay here already!

Great stay! Tania’s place is in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood—super quiet and relaxing. The room was very clean, and it’s just about 45 minutes from the Mount Cook area, which was perfect for me. Tania was super kind and even reminded me about the hot tub—it’s tucked away in its own private spot under the stars, and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!

A beautiful home with a truly spectacular view!! It felt so peaceful to sit in front of the fireplace and just look out over the lake. It was more than enough space for the 5 of us to really relax. Hot tub was a great bonus!

We had the most magical stay here! It was exactly as advertised - secluded, romantic and felt like a world away. There were personalised touches which were so appreciated and made our stay so special. We'll be coming back!

Beautiful house with lots of space for guests. It was a great place to spend the night. Debbie was really helpful as rain threatened to scupper our plans and gave us peace of mind for alternative options if we needed to cancel our plans.
