Built in the 1600s, Miller's Barn looks on to one of Kent's last working windmills. It's on the Minnis, where cattle and sheep graze. An idyllic and tranquil spot, 8 miles from the historic city of Canterbury. The Miller's Barn is only 500m from a great pub (with fabulous fish n' chips) and a very friendly, well stocked village shop which has everything you may need during your stay. Lyminge is five miles from the seaside in Hythe. It has a Chemist, Doctors' surgery, a village store, Chinese restaurant, Indian take-way, a Tea Room - which does very nice breakfasts . There are 2 good pubs nearby - the Gatekeeper in Etchinghill and the Tiger in Stowting. Dogs are welcome - one medium size or two small ones.
