Caution: (We have a Floor Bed upstairs and a Sofa bed downstairs.) With historic pubs all around, Central Canterbury is 10 mins drive away yet you are in the countryside! Get away from London, breathe countryside air, travel to/from the Continent. Dover is only a 30mints.

Quaint , secluded , countryside /village cottage. Suitable for travelling golfers, business people, and an inbetween stop over from and to Europe for the holiday makers . Or you could just make a lovely weekend of it and visit all of our lovely coast and countryside .... cottage much bigger than the pictures. After all.... We are known as the "Garden of England ". A peaceful retreat ideal for 2 adult guests on our small holding. Only 2 well behaved dogs are accepted, no other animals are allowed. Ideally situated to explore the beautiful Kent countryside by foot, cycle or car. 10 mins from Channel Tunnel, 20 mins from the Port of Dover and Canterbury. 10 mins from Folkestone West Station for the high speed train to London, which takes 55 mins, and 25 mins to Ashford and the Outlet Shopping Centre. The Stable is not suitable for babies or children.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Lovely cosy cottage ideal for a couples getaway from it all. The Cottage is a 6 min drive from the beach or a lovely 20 min walk taking in the woods along the way. St Margaret’s at Cliffe is a 10 min drive and has a lovely secluded beach with a cabin selling teas coffee bacon rolls and ice cream 🍨 and a lovely pub The Coastguard . Our home and Annexe is situated just off the main road in the village of Lydden where we are surrounded by a National Nature Reserve and have access to beautiful walks on the chalk downlands and the Whitecliffs of Dover Coastal Walk is also close by. The village of Lydden has good transport links being adjacent to the A2 connecting Dover to London and within the easy reach the High Speed rail route to London St Pancras, Dover ferry port and the Eurotunnel.
