The space
Located just under the Sonoma headlands, this spacious, modern and thoughtfully outfitted villa is the perfect California getaway location. With a reassuring, home-away-from-home facade, cultivated gardens, large outdoor dining area plus cosy fire pit, guests can settle into peaceful outdoor surroundings. Fine vineyards, splendid forests plus local colonial charm all add to the regional appeal. 

Guests will love the privacy and mature aspects of Sweet Retreat, which carries with it the air of an established home. Towering mixed trees overlook the pristine pool and wonderfully expansive pool house, while guests are free to stroll garden paths and take breakfast. fresh coffee and fruit juice at the charming alfresco tables. With an emphasis on clean lines and modern design, the interiors are full of comfortable, welcoming furniture and attractive, open spaces. With San Pablo Bay just twenty minutes to the south, a welcoming and cooling sea breeze moves through the property, adding a refreshing aspect to the outdoor barbecues and drinks.

The pleasures of this specific stretch of California’s wine country are world-famous, with the Sonoma region offering a fantastic vacation option within striking distance of the Bay Area. Guests can explore more than 200 wineries in the sheltered Sonoma valley, which utilize the magic of the region’s unique appellation to produce highly-rated and complex wines. Established golf courses plus an excellent spa are within 10 minutes drive of the villa. A range of established film and arts festivals light up Sonoma on a regular basis, while the fascinating town plaza represents one of the best preserved examples of Alta Californian architecture in the entire state, amidst fantastic dining and shopping options. After a day spent experiencing the local region, the spacious living area offers a great spot for groups to unwind.
