Spend days on the powdery sands of Nai Thon Beach and nights watching the sun set into the Andaman Sea at Malaiwana Duplex. Perched on a hillside at the exclusive Malaiwana estate, this contemporary vacation rental feels like a private escape but is close to golf, spas, beach clubs and even the Phuket airport. And with four suite-style bedrooms, this luxury property can accommodate up to eight friends and family members on a tropical escape.
The duplex opens to a terrace facing the water with a pool that seems to spill into the sea, a pergola-covered lounge area set into the pool, sitting and dining areas, and a barbecue. Slide open the doors to the indoor living spaces and create one seamless indoor-outdoor entertaining area complete with wine fridge, media room, TVs and Wi-Fi.
The villa’s sleek, open-concept great room is lined on one side with a glass wall framing sea views. Stretch out in the sitting area, seat eight for dinner at the formal table and serve everything from snacks to multi-course meals from the fully equipped kitchen. Pieces like tuxedo-style sofas and a pedestal dining table have streamlined modern appeal, while details like colorful artwork and marble countertops add personality.
Each of the four bedrooms at Malaiwana Duplex has a king bed, en-suite bathroom and direct terrace access; two of the suites have their own dressing and lounge areas as well. Like the great room, the bedrooms are understated yet chic, with clean-lined furnishings that let the expansive views be the focus.
