Villa vacation rentals in Luquillo

First, don't worry about the dogs - they are so cute and super friendly! The pictures make the house look a little newer than it really is but it is very well maintained. It is nice to have a private pool. The island lost power a couple of times while we were there but we still felt comfortable and safe up on the mountain with beautiful views. If you want to feel like your really staying in Puerto Rico and not a tourist, this is a perfect spot!

Our goal was to find an upscale house that was quiet and outside the bustle of San Juan but close enough for occasional visits. Villa Maxine was exactly what we were hoping for. Charlotte's superb home is propped on the top of a large hill providing expansive views and privacy. The rooms are spacious with the living or great room being the center of activity and relaxation. The highlight, however, is the outdoor space. The decks around the gorgeous, clean and refreshing pool provide multiple choices for relaxing, sunbathing or eating. Trips to Old San Juan are a short 25 minutes and a rental car is a must. Communication with Charlotte and associates was immediate and accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.

Our group of nine had an amazing experience staying in Camila’s place. You can literally walk to the beach. It is a great location with lots of parking for our rental car. I also appreciated the gated community. The pool made a huge difference for us after long days of walking or beach it was nice to relax in the pool. I also loved all the restrooms available. It allowed us to have privacy and had enough showers to get ready all of us at a time. Overall it was a great experience for our group.

Nice place to stay for your vacation. House located in a private neighborhood. Make feel save. House has everything you need to have a good time. Love it. Will be back

Getting to the spot make sure to follow Sheila’s directions as is can be a bit confusing. It is very central to everything and don’t let the area concern you, everyone is so friendly and nice. The spot had everything you needed to have a great vacation.

An easily accessible place, shops and restaurants nearby, when entering the town, literally disconnected from the outside, spacious and comfortable, 100% recommended.....thanks again for having us.

Maribel and Enrique were very gracious hosts. The house is centrally located with easy access to San Juan nightlife and sightseeing and easy to access the center mountainous region of the Isla del Encanto! The home was warm and welcoming with a beautiful patio area for morning coffee and evening rum! The coqui frogs serenaded us every evening. Would love staying here again.

Marcos, was awesome! His communication and recommendations were top notch!! The house was clean, easy to walk to everything, quiet, just overall relaxing. We loved our stay here and would definitely book with Marcos again :) Thank you so much, Marcos!

We have stayed at the Casitas before (in a different unit) and love the location. Lots to do from beaches, rain forest, boat trips or just lounging at the gorgeous pools. The place is beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds comfortable. Our two complaints were that it could get quite noisy as the balconies faced the road with golf carts going back and forth and we did lose power (no fault of the unit owner) and there is no back-up generator. We still had an amazing time, and in-truth was better without electronics!

Awesome space. We booked the entire building for our large group and everyone felt it was spacious. Smooth checking 3-4mins walk to plenty restaurants. Ice cold AC and a very relaxing space in the back yard. With plenty of seating and still allows for privacy

This place is incredible. Multiple people in our group said they slept like a baby every night. Fall asleep to the sounds of Coquis and wake up to the sound of songbirds. We came in mid-March. It got a little chilly at night, and perfect during the day. So many people were asking me about the place when I posted on social media. We left yesterday. I already miss it.

I had a great stay at this home in Luquillo! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location was perfect—close to the beach, great local spots to eat, and easy access to El Yunque and other nearby attractions. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay in the area. Would love to come back!

I booked Rosa's home with my husband and another couple. The house is truly lovely and looks just like the pictures, including the phenomenal views and great location. There were so many wonderful details that made it feel like you were stepping back in time! The kitchen and baths were well provisioned, as well the house in general. Additionally, although we experienced a blackout while we were there, Rosa and Michael made it painless, graciously dropping off lanterns, phone chargers and lots of batteries. Highly recommend this lovely, historic home.

We decided to make this a couples trip to celebrate my husband birthday. It was a total of 10 of us. We all pitched in a rented a 15 passenger van. This house was everything we needed. Plenty of space, amazing view and it was super clean! The master bedroom is located up stairs and the master shower was everything! The location is very peaceful and quiet. Everything we needed was less than 30 mins away. Beaches, grocery stores, restaurants and the mall. This was a great location and I’m glad I decided to cancel the other house and get this one instead. Mr. Chris is one of the coolest host I’ve met. He provided us with the locations to everywhere we needed to go. Who needs Google when you have Mr. Chris?🤣🤣 Thanks again Mr. Chris for helping to make our trip memorable and fun 💙

We had the most incredible experience at this vacation home in Puerto Rico for New Year’s Eve! From start to finish, the host and their team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The home was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One thing that stood out was the host’s incredible diligence during a power outage on the island. They immediately provided us with battery chargers and flashlights cooler with ice to not to loose our food in the fridge to keep us comfortable and safe. Additionally, when we had an issue with the water heater, the team reacted so quickly and had it fixed in no time. Their responsiveness and care were unmatched! Puerto Rico is an amazing destination, and staying in this home made it even better. A huge thank you to the host and their team for making our New Year’s Eve unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back! Pictures don’t do this place justice. This home is beyond dreamy! Everything I had hoped for and SO MUCH MORE. Great location for anyone wanting to experience the Rainforest and authentic PR. ❤️❤️❤️ The host was so helpful, replied to everything within an hour and soooo accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!

We just returned from an amazing stay at this jungle‐hilltop retreat! The house itself is incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and perfectly positioned to take in those lush mountain views—especially from the pool deck, where each sunset felt like a private show. Our hosts were wonderfully attentive, always on hand with thoughtful suggestions for local trails, dining spots, and any little thing we needed. As for the driveway, we’d heard it might be tricky, but in our small SUV it proved totally manageable—and honestly added a bit of adventurous charm. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone craving comfort, privacy, and spectacular panoramas!

Fernando's place was better than I could have hoped for! The unit was spotless and modern with very comfortable beds. The coded entry was very convenient for family members to come and go to the pool, which is straight out of a resort. Waterfall, colored lights, pool bathroom! We were blown away by this accommodation and will absolutely stay again when we come back to Puerto Rico. Fernando checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we did not need anything. I would 100% recommend him as a host.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotlessly clean, which made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It was also very spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the absolute highlights was the incredible view—absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. We found ourselves planning our evenings around being back just to catch the sunset from the property. Truly unforgettable! Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with comfort, space, and stunning scenery. We’d definitely stay here again!

I love staying at this Airbnb. the only thing was that one of the showers were hard to turn on and the handle was loose. other than that it was great.
