Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lugano District

Casa Sarina is very nice and quietly located and has a fantastic view of Lake Lugano. In the village of Carona there is a small kiosk that provides everything for everyday needs. For larger purchases, however, you have to drive down the serpentine road to the valley. From the property you can either walk directly or after a short drive take wonderful walks through Vico Morcote to Morcote or to Monte San Salvatore. The place was very clean and as described by the landlord. Markus and Anna are very loving hosts and enriched our stay with many tips. We would choose this accommodation again any time.

We (two families, four children), felt very comfortable with Bruno. The house is comfortably and functionally furnished. Only a little inconvenient: There is only one toilet on the basement, which can be reached via a relatively steep staircase. Otherwise: beautiful, quiet environment, great playground nearby, forest, creek. Beautiful veranda. And Lugano can be reached quickly by public transport and car. The communication with Bruno was always friendly, he very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend staying with him.

The apartment is spacious, modern and bright, in a very charming little village. There are always parking spaces nearby. It's a good place to stay! Great for exploring the surrounding area.

It was very nice and as described. The sound of the stream was very soothing. Naomi responded quickly and proactively helped me find the place. Glad to come back!

A real favorite for this house perched on the heights with stunning views of the major lake, all in a peaceful and privileged setting. We were delighted with our stay, everything is there: comfort, space, view, amenities, everything you need is there. We didn't see our host but we could easily communicate with him. We'll be happy to come back to this little haven of peace.

This Airbnb is lovely, very modern on the inside and in a peaceful location away from the city. It’s perfect if you want tranquility but still well located for things to do nearby in Lugano. The place was spacious and clean and perfect for us as a family of four.

The place is wonderfully quiet, above Lugano. The lake and the Lido are very quickly reached by car. Two grotto/small typical Ticino restaurants are also within walking distance. I recommend arriving by car, as the bus does not travel regularly. In the accommodation you feel very comfortable right away, very clean and it has everything you need! The garden, the tranquility and the surroundings for hiking are also wonderful. I would come back at any time and highly recommend Monica's house. Monica is also a great and warm host! Merci!

The apartment is located in Aldesago, very close to the Lugano city and with breathtaking view on the lake - the area is really well commuted (bus no. 12 or funicular). Inside you have everything you need - nicely equipped kitchen, superclean bathroom and very comfortable beds! The view from terrace is truly stunning! It was also so nice to be able using swimming pool belonging to the facility! Although we’ve been already in Lugano few times before, I think, this staying was the best one ;) P.S. the owners are angels 😇

Perfect for a solo trip in the region of Ticino ! 10 mins walk to the Lugano lake and super close to the Paradiso train station.

Beatrice is a very friendly and attentive host, she welcomed us warmly by showing us the apartment, which was very clean and tidy. In the kitchen, there is everything you need and also some food products available to buy, convenient if you want to have a drink without having done the shopping. The house is in a perfect location, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden, overlooking Lugano. The pearl was the space with a table and chairs under the trees, great for a cool dinner. I will return and will not hesitate to recommend it, thank you Beatrice!

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The area was peaceful, so very quiet for sleeping and relaxing on the balcony, which has a stunning view. The apartment is well equipped and has plenty of space.

We felt very comfortable. When the weather was nice, the view was fantastic and the garden was super nice. Rebecca was always very helpful and responded quickly. Despite bad weather, we had a lovely holiday. We would definitely come back!😊

Nice little convenient accommodation, with a magnificent view from the balcony and easily accessible by bus from the city center.

Very good situation. Easy to find. Clear instructions. Amazing view, just for that the price worth it. Center is not far, more or less 15 minutes walk. Parking available. Fridge with various products for our attention. Very kind. I recommend the place.

We loved Romana and Dietrich's house and the location. The lake and mountain views are fantastic, the house is bright and spacious, with views in all rooms! Plus CDs and a great playlist! And especially a big thank you to Romana and Dietrich for their friendly welcome, their attention, and the time they spent with us. Located in a fantastically beautiful location – ideal for relaxing. Andrea and Raffi were very warm, wonderfully uncomplicated and helpful, we felt welcome from the first moment. Had a great time at this apartment! The place is perfectly as described: clean, well-decorated and very well-equipped. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the bathroom is impeccable.

The apartment is large, perfectly equipped, sparkling clean and is very quiet on the edge of the village. Gesziella and René are very friendly and helpful hosts. The area offers many activities in the immediate vicinity: biking, hiking, trail running or swimming in the lake.
