Sarah and Jean-Claude were fantastic hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jean-Claude came over to meet us when we first checked in and gave us recommendations on where to go for dinner and groceries which was very helpful. Their home was perfectly accommodating and our kids especially loved playing and exploring in the backyard patio area. It was a great central location for the activities we had planned, too. Overall, it was a wonderful place to end our trip and we hope to be back in the future! Thank you, Sarah and Jean-Claude!

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay - we’re already missing the views! There is lots to see and visit in the surrounding areas and it’s 10 minutes from the motorway if you’re looking to travel further afield. Susanne was a brilliant host, very attentive, extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We would love to come back!

היה פשוט תענוג לשהות בבקתה המיוחדת הזו. החדרים מעוצבים בטעם טוב ויפים. המקום היה נקי ומזמין. הישיבה בחוץ מול הנוף מרחיבה את הלב, והכפר כולו יפיפה ונעים ללכת בו. המקום במרחק צעידה מכל מה שנדרש (מסעדה, מכולת וחנויות נוספות). המארחים היו זמינים לכל שאלה או בקשה. נזכור את החופשה הזו עוד הרבה זמן. תודה

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen und das Beste ist die super Aussicht auf den See und die Berge. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Such a beautiful place in an equally beautiful location. For those who wish to experience the Swiss country side and yet be fairly close enough to cover all the main attractions of the region, look no further. Stayed 5 nights with my family with 2 kids, and everyday was memorable. The house layout is made for the view, and it’s simply unforgettable.. all the basics are in place and more, no complaints there whatsoever.. in fact one would be pleasantly surprised coming here, for the photos just cannot do justice to what one feels here.. keywords: spacious, comfortable, magical, and beautiful. the hosts and manager were wonderful too.. always ready to help with whatever u need may it be home related or otherwise.. thank you for the amazing experience.. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wishes to come back to a serene Swiss paradise at the end of a long day of travel, tourists, and attractions..

Our week in Kandergrund was just perfect. The place was cozy, well equiped and had everything we needed. But the best thing was the kindness and hospitality of our hosts Marie and Hari. They were just great, gave us plenty of good advice on outdoor activities and were happy to help with everything. We definitely want to come back. Anamarija&Boštjan

La casa es fantástica! Está decorada con mucho gusto y está totalmente equipada para una familia de 7 personas como era nuestro caso. Se nota que todo está cuidado al detalle. La ubicación es perfecta para visitar muchos sitios interesantes que se encuentran en los alrededores de Basilea, desde la capilla de Le Corbusier en Le Ronchamp hasta Zúrich, Lucerna, los pueblecitos de la Alsacia y Estrasburgo. Tiene además un supermercado y una farmacia a 5 minutos andando y la zona es súper tranquila, ideal para descansar después de un día de turismo. Sin duda alguna la recomendamos para quien quiera conocer esta zona!!!

Die Lage des Hauses ist das absolute Highlight. Die Aussicht ist einzigartig. Bei Sonnenuntergang und mit der Sicht auf den See und das ganze Bergpanorama zu Abendessen, war unbeschreiblich schön. Auch den warmen Hotpot haben wir mehrmals genossen - nach einer langen Wanderung ist er sehr entspannend. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben - die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet, die Küche bestens ausgestattet und die Badezimmer sind zweckdienlich aber einwandfrei. Wenn es ein einziger Kritikpunkt gibt, dann sind es die Betten, die für Doppelbetten sehr klein sind und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Alles in allem waren wir aber super happy in der Unterkunft und können das Haus wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Auch die Kommunikation mit Natalia war hervorragend. Sie antwortet super schnell und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank Natalia für die gute Gastfreundschaft!

Wir haben uns in der Villa, nach dem Wow-Effekt beim eintreten, sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Trotz schlechtem Wetter konnte man in den Pool und Whirlpool. Der Fitnessraum ist super ausgestattet - wir waren beschäftigt ^^ außerdem ein großes Lob an die Reinigungskräfte, es war alles blitzblank und die Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön hergerichtet.

My family of 11 people stayed for 5 days in this beautiful villa. The pictures are representative of the very spacious rooms and facility . The villa is old but really charming with a big garden. Everything was very clean (not easy in such a big space) and the kitchen and living room are really well equipped for cooking and having dinner in a big group. The area is definitely my favorite in Basel: walk dostance to the rhein river, quite but also surrounded by many restaurants and bars in 5-10’ walk. Dan and hid team were very reactive while contacted for questions. The 2 parking in the garage are also super useful considering that in Basel is very difficult to find a parking to park in the street. Definitely recommended for big groups!!

Amazing host, friendly and responsive. Nested in a quiet, safe neighborhood, the house was impressively clean (especially considering its size). Lots of amenities, washer/dryer, pool table, backyard patio, etc. with understandable quirks for a ~100 yr house. The host even lent us 4 bicycles to get around town. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Bern. Note, there’s a bus stop really close by that usually runs every 10 minutes which takes you into city center. Grocery store and restaurants also within a short bike ride or perhaps a 15-20 minutes walk.

Das Château hat uns alles geboten für ein genussvolles Familientreffen. In der grossen Küche konnten wir gemeinsam kochen, im Salon den Apéro geniessen und im grossen Esszimmer Abendessen. Der Garten und der Pool sind sehr schön. Das Spielzimmer ist beim Jüngsten auch gut angekommen.

We loved our stay here. The house was incredible, as pictured with enough room for our party of 8 including 5 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler, and 1 baby. The ability to request a pack and play for infant and toys for my toddler was a game changer. The space was thoughtful and enough room for everyone to relax. The town is very quiet and sweet. You can easily walk to Migros and local restaurants. It was perfect for day trips to Thun, Lucerne, Bern, Zurich. It was the perfect landing spot for our group. Laundry is always a plus! Just a couple notes if you have kiddos and plan to do all public transportation, (not a big deal if you have a car but we didn't want to travel with car seats): the home is all tile throughout, not a lot of space to roll around if you have crawling babe etc. The house was absolutely walkable with a stroller from bus stations but don't follow google maps on the 345 bus stop, it'll take a shortcut up to the house that is all stairs. Take the 346 bus instead.

The house was beautiful but the setting was even more beautiful! The view from the house is spectacular of the Alps. Such a wonderful, relaxing place. It accommodated our group of eight very well. The hot tub was very clean and the sauna was a bonus. Ard responded quickly to any questions.

Look no further for the best views of the mountains. Forget the hotels this spot is simply the best. Greti made us feel so special as well and had great recommendations. I would come back anytime !!

Die Unterkunft von Philipp ist insbesondere für Familien mit Kindern ausserordentlich geeignet. Die Verfügbarkeit von 3 Duschen oder Bad mit WC und einem Badezimmer ist sehr angenehm und komfortabel. Das Haus wurde geschmackvoll und aufwendig von einem Bauernhof zu einem "heimeligen" Zuhause umgebaut. Der grosse zur Verfügung stehende Platz im und um das Haus herum ist in der Tat ausserordentlich (Spielsachen, Hobbyraum, Schwimmbad, Grillplatz und viel weiteres mehr) und dürfte eine Ausnahme sein unter den Angeboten von Airbnb. Die uneingeschränkte Küchenbenützung und der übrigen Gegenstände und Geräte im Haus (Waschmaschine, Trockner, etc.) haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr angehm gestaltet. Philipp hat sich auch bereiterklärt, unser Elektroauto an der Haussteckdose laden zu können (ohne Aufpreis). Die Präsenz von zwei Katzen war sehr symphatisch und hat unseren Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet. Wir können die Unterkunft von Philipp uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Très grande maison avec jardin sympathique. Hote flexible sur les horaires d'arrivée. Un petit coup de neuf sur la maison ferait pas de mal, mais c'est au moins propre !

“Amazing stay! Highly recommend!” Me and my friends had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb. Jonalyn is incredibly welcoming and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was always very helpful and available all the time. She responded immediately. The property was exactly as described— very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and Jonalyn provided towels & sheets for everybody. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with all facilities you can imagine - better than my kitchen at home. The giant whirlpool was an absolute highlight together with the chimney. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Thomas est une personne très sympathique et toujours à disposition si besoin. Sa maison est magnifique et la piscine dans le jardin est vraiment idéale pour des enfants et agréable à la belle saison. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement!

I cannot say enough good things about Ramon, Doreen, Thilo and their two k cats Yumi and Orion. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We felt right at home. The house and the views are absolutely beautiful. The cats were super fun and cute. They live near a train station, getting around was super easy. We would definitely come back to stay with them. Thank you again!!
