Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lubowa

We stayed at Katie’s place for a couple weeks and it felt like home away from home as we used to live in this area of Kampala. It was clean and comfortable. The upstairs and downstairs verandahs were both very nice, with a beautiful view of the city from the top one. The co-host Candice was the best Airbnb host ever! She answered all my questions and was super flexible with me when we needed extra help. Sam and Isaak, the guards, were helpful and friendly as well as Sarah who came to clean throughout our stay.

Das Haus ist wirklich rießig und sehr komfortabel. Die Einrichtung ist super und teilweise sehr modern. Auch die Aussenanlage mit dem Pool ist fantastisch. Es war alles sehr sauber. Nur die Bettlaken hatten ein paar Flecken. Für die Anreise braucht man auf jeden Fall Allradantrieb und auch für den Aufenthalt braucht man ein eigenes Auto, da keine Bodas zur Unterkunft kommen, da der Berg zu steil ist.

Un excellent séjour. Endroit parfait situé dans un des quartiers résidentiels de Kampala, un très bon voisinage. Appartement bien sécurisé, on s'est senti en total sécurité. Appartement propre, bien équipé et moderne. Un bon service client. Nous avons vraiment aimé notre séjour et nous reviendrons à coup sûr. très belle expérience. coût de coeur. je conseille.

Joan is an amazing person. Always helping us around in whatever way possible. She made sure we had wonderful and enjoyable stay. Not to forget, the security guard and the housing keeping guy in the names of Mr Lucky who is such an amazing people. He would go to shop and bring us whatever we wanted. We are so thankful for all these amazing people with great hospitality. I truly recommend this Villa and I would use it next time.

Ashraf's place is as displayed. Very clean and comfortable. The host was kind to let me checkin early and there was care taker on stand by to help with anything. Definately a rebook when in Kampala next.

Our experience was absolutely fantastic, and I cannot thank the Musiimentas enough for being such incredible hosts. They stayed in touch throughout our visit, frequently checking in to ensure we were comfortable and accommodating any needs we had with great flexibility. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay. The property was beyond perfect for our group. It effortlessly accommodated all seven of us, providing ample rooms and parking space. Additionally, the location was ideal. We found ourselves conveniently close to city attractions while enjoying the safety and tranquility of the area. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend The Mbuya Residence to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. Thank you once again for everything!

My family and throughly enjoyed our stay at Carolyn and Junior’s house! The house was so spacious and comfortable for my family and I. And we absolutely fell in love with Mr. Steven, Mr. Dickson, Ms. Barbara, and Ms. Judith! They are wonderful and very helpful and attentive. The host were very welcoming and helpful, we had a little hiccup and they were there to make sure matters were solved and in a timely manner. We were sad to have to leave as this place really started feeling like home. I definitely recommend this house 100%

LOVED it so much we came back! I booked it last minute on the day as we had to check out of a different AirBnB a day early due to a power cut and no alternatives however Mbabazi was very quick to respond and truly saved the day by letting us stay at his lovely home with such short notice. Much appreciated and we’ll definitely be back again in the future 🙌🏾😁

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. The views are amazing and the pool was lovely. Robbie was very helpful, as were the staff in the compound, and the dogs were very friendly. Just a couple of things to note are that access to the property is via a very steep hill, so you need to be fit if you don’t have your own car as most Uber drivers preferred to drop us at the top of the hill and we then walked down to the property, and we would also meet drivers at the top. Also, the veranda was lovely but had a steep drop down to concrete below, so we needed to be vigilant with our child at all times. We had a lovely stay regardless, just important things to be aware of :)

Alvin communicated well from the moment I was considering his apartment until when I left.He got on the phone to give guidance on how to arrive at the apartment when the driver was lost. He put a lot in the apartment and it's exactly as it is and even better (if I can say so). He also ensure that I had everything, even went out to make a last minute purchase to achieve this. He had Dennis (the caretaker) available to support as needed as well and it was easy to gain access to the apartment. I would absolutely stay here whenever I am in town and I would highly recommend.

Exactly what I needed after a long flight and exhausting day. This place feels like a home away from home 🏡 peaceful ,quiet and clean. I highly recommend this place and will absolutely be returning. The road to reach there from main road is not good but when u reach there , you are in your paradise. Aidat and other girl who work there are very friendly and cleaned my room anytime I asked. They also offer you an airport pickup for a reasonable price

I really wouldn’t review because I would want to keep it a secret, but the place is great. I believe I also got a discount from the normal rate. I had to switch Airbnb locations in the middle of the night and it went smoothly and quickly.

Namulema’s place is next level. Super tidy, cozy vibes, and the area is nice and quiet — perfect for relaxing or getting stuff done. She was super sweet and made the whole stay smooth from the jump. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy bed, chill atmosphere… all the essentials are on point. I’d 100% come back. If you’re scrolling and thinking about it — stop. Book it. You won’t regret i it !

Amazing deal. Amazing place. Amazing view. This was my favorite place I stayed at in East Africa. My family and I were lounging on that incredible balcony every chance we got. Host was responsive and the stay was great. Very safe as well! Note: It is on the top floor without an elevator, but if you can manage a few flights of stairs (not that bad!), it's worth it for the view!

The house is lovely! Just as described, probably better. Edgar is very communicative and helpful. Will come back most definitely.

Overall great stay, would highly recommend anyone visiting Kampala area to stay in this place. In the pictures, there is no dining table so I asked for one. But when I reached the place, I was surprised to find that Geofrey had a table already placed upon my request. Would definitely come back!

Veronica’s place was amazing. Truly worth every penny. And she is super responsive and very understanding and accommodating. I’d stay here again the next time I visit the pearl of Africa.

Pearl is such a great host. She was there to welcome us at check-in & say bye to us as we checked out. She was always ready to repaond to any questions or requests. Pearl is friendly, knowledgeable & professional. I highly recommend her & I will work with her again.

The caretaker wast not okay in the beginning because he didn’t want to be asked for anything and he made comments when we asked him anything in the house, but at the end after speaking to him and Sophie.The attitude changed and we had a present time. I would want to personally say thanks to Sophie because and the end. We had an amazing time at the apartment and the caretaker knew what he made wrong and he improved and we want to stay at Sophie’s apartment again. We had an amazingly time. Thank you Sophie for being an amazing host.

Ashley is the host you hardly forget about even after leaving her place -a beautiful human-. She ensured we had a pleasant stay at her place, welcoming us in person, ushering us into the apartment and providing recommendations on activities and restaurants to visit. She was proactive and always available to respond to our queries. The apartment looks same as in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped and this really helped as we prefer to eat home cooked food. Everything was clean and neat. It will definitely be our choice next time we return to Kampala.

I have stayed in this flat before for a few months, and so I already knew what expected me and was incredibly satisfied. I already LOVED the place last time, great apartment, great neighborhood, great people, great city, and this stay only confirmed this. Thank you so much to the hosts!!
