Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Los Arribes

We had a fantastic family stay at Casa da Ti Dores in Cativelos! The house is full of charm, beautifully restored, and very comfortable for families. It had everything we needed — cozy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a peaceful setting. The warm pool was the highlight for all of us — absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. Our kids loved it, and so did we! The village is quiet and welcoming, and it’s a great base for discovering Serra da Estrela. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing, authentic getaway. We hope to return!

Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

Beautiful home located in a small village but close to everything . Lake Azibo for hiking, Macedo de Cavaleiro for refueling, everything you need for a very nice stay. We did not regret our choice . Let's recommend it without hesitation

We went to spend a few days, a group of 6 adults and 6 children/babies. The host made check-in and check-out very easy, and was available for any questions. The house is very large, with ample space for children. We had bad weather, so we couldn't enjoy the outdoor area much, but we were able to have a barbecue since it's covered, plus the house was very warm and cozy. Very good overall cleanliness and comfortable beds. The kitchenware is a little dated, but it's enough. Both the host and the people of Soeima are super nice and helpful. Repeat experience!

It is a wonderful space to enjoy as a family. Well-equipped kitchen. House with entertainment for children. A good barbecue area. The nature around the accommodation is amazing. A true refuge.

I had a really great stay in this place. The house is even nicer that the pictures show. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. The house is gorgeous and the surroundings are wonderful. A place where you find your peace and quiet.

What an amazing place! Everything about our stay was perfect. The location, the communication with the host, the small touches in the apartment on our arrival, the magnificent view, the pool, the comfortable rooms, the cleanliness of the place, the wine, and especially the generosity of the hosts who showed us the facilities where they produce their wines. We absolutely fell in love with Salamanca and we were also delighted to be based in Miguel’s very stylish and comfortable apartment. It’s in a great location - steps from the beautiful Roman Bridge and a short walk into the Old Town with lots of bars, restaurants and wonderful sights. Salamanca is so walkable and after a day on our feet it was great to get back to Miguel’s for a rest on the sofa. Bed was comfortable, shower excellent, apartment spacious. We had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend.

Our days at Ana's house were excellent . The apartment is wonderful, above schedule. It had everything we needed and more. Quiet place and very beautiful. Ana and Dª Regina were very diligent and kind . We didn't miss it . I would recommend it a thousand times .

It was a great place to spend the family weekend. The house is well conditioned so as not to be cold, the furnishings in good order and the area is quiet, with parking. José Antonio, attentive to what we needed. Good place to repeat.

What about our visit to Nagoselo do Douro! The space was perfect. This small village and the people who live there are even warmer. Katia was always available for us. We had a puncture and she helped us communicate with the rental company. The people in the village helped us too, in the rain! What about Mrs. Isabel, the lady of the small local market. Smiling, thoughtful, and generous. Unable to leave the village without kissing it before leaving. We enjoyed our stay very much. The Douro region is magical, even in early March!

A wonderful location, right in the heart of the city, in a beautiful area. Perfectly sized for an extended stay of four weeks. It was the perfect sanctuary when the weather improved, staying cool, but also cosy and welcoming during the colder weather. I was always happy to return to the apartment after a long day of studies or sightseeing.

We have been during the May bridge and I only have good words to describe how well we have been. The house is so prepared with necessary things that it looks like you're in your home. The cleanliness is extraordinary, I hadn't been staying in a house as clean as this one. Conchi think of even the smallest detail to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible, it orients you phenomenal so that you know the area and the most beautiful places there and where to eat. Of course, as a hostess I would give him no 5 stars, I would give him 10. We'll be back for sure. Thank you Conchi for how well you have done.

Quiet, cozy and functional place that makes you feel at home immediately. Swimming pool rightly sized. Different in and outdoors to have a meal or just relax. Very friendly and proactive host. Price could be adjusted to number of people (eg chalet not used, which also reduce costs on property use). Memorable and enjoyable stay at Maçã Douro.

we had a very pleasant week in this quiet house with very beautiful landscapes. the pool nearby refreshed us well and made the children happy. the house is typical and nice the outdoor shower is very nice in summer. Teresa is a very nice person and very available.

Just an amazing place away from city buzz, clean , detailed, has everything you need for your stay , Thais is a super helpful host and makes everything possible for here guests to feel at home. Definitely coming back.

The only aspect that you can limit for longer stays and needs more luggage: there is no private parking and the street of the house is in a “historic” area, difficult to circulate cars. But the area is very beautiful, picturesque, and all the other great features of the house and hostess far outweigh this fact.

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

We loved the villa and its surroundings and Angela and Mario couldn’t have been more helpful. It is a short car journey into Mirandela where there are some great restaurants - recommended by our host. They were terrific value as well compared to restaurant prices in Porto! Unfortunately I picked up a head cold in Porto and had little energy to explore the local tracks. It’s a great place to stay with easy access to Tua Natural Parc and the Douro Valley, I would highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Extremely quiet place, with complete privacy and all the comforts you need for a quiet and relaxing weekend. The house is equipped with all the amenities and the terrace, with a jacuzzi at the ideal temperature, offers a breathtaking view. The owner was always very accessible and attentive, giving helpful suggestions on places to visit and where to eat nearby. Access is easy and there is a nearby supermarket that offers home delivery service, which made the stay even more practical and comfortable. An experience we recommend!

This place is an absolute gem, amazing views and a great activities to keep the kids entertained. We loved feeding the donkey & horse the most. Thank you x
