When you say goodbye to your host with a warm hug, you just know it was a great stay – and that’s exactly how it was for us! We spent two wonderful weeks at this place and felt incredibly comfortable from the very beginning. Putri, Lina and Cor made us feel welcome like old friends. They were warm, communicative and always available – we had a few lovely evenings with them that we’ll remember for a long time. They organized transfers for us, always had the right solution for every little thing, and impressed us with their open and caring attitude. The house itself is spotless, beautifully located in a peaceful area, and equipped with everything you need: a fully stocked kitchen, fresh drinking water, and especially – the amazing pool and the well-equipped little gym, which we used almost every day. It’s one of those places you arrive at and never want to leave again. Thank you so much for everything – we will definitely be back! ☺️☺️

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation and also well taken care of by Sukry and his family. The place looks like the photos and is very quiet. We also ate on site and we enjoyed it very much :) Furthermore, we took a tour of the rice fields & Co with Sukry. This was the absolute highlight for us and the most authentic tour of our entire vacation! Afterwards, the family showed us how to make coconut oil ourselves - a great experience :) We highly recommend the accommodation, Sukry and his family as hosts:)

My stay here has been the best I've ever experienced in Bali (and I live in Bali so I've gone through a lot of accommodations!). The place is stunning just like the pictures, spotless and with all the amenities you need. There is even a blender in the kitchen which I've been using every day to make delicious smoothies! Made's family is simply the best! They invited me to whatever they had going on and helped with anything I needed during my 10-day stay! As you can see the place is not in central Amed and I loved it even more for this reason! You literally have the beach for yourself and you get to experience the local community with no tourists around. That being said, Made can provide scooter rental or take you to Amed if needed. In terms of food, there are a few options around. The Smiling Buddha is delicious and it's in front of the house. There is also a small shop selling fruits and veggies if you need anything. I would highly recommend this place 💛 Thanks Made!

Pierre’s house is truly a dream come true! This house is even more beautiful in person! One of the nicest places I have ever stayed at! The view is beautiful, the kitchen is filled with everything you would need and there is staff to help you with whatever you need! I would love to stay at this house again in the future! If you are looking for a great place near the center, this place is truly perfect!

The Watch House is absolutely fantastic! Peacefully located a bit off the main road, yet everything is easily reachable by scooter — Kuta is just about 15 minutes away. The house itself is spacious, beautifully designed, and the veranda is an absolute dream. Usup, the helper, is always around if you have questions or need anything — he’s incredibly kind, just like all the wonderful people we’ve met in Indonesia. We were truly impressed by the warm hospitality. Thank you, Christophe and Usup, for a wonderful time in Gerupuk. We would come back to this house anytime!

This villa is truly beautiful! We loved the spacious living room and the comfortable bedrooms, each featuring its own bathroom. The property is impeccably clean and modern, and the AC works perfectly. Communication with the host was smooth and easy. We especially appreciated the gorgeous outdoor area with the swimming pool. Overall, the villa’s stylish design and excellent amenities made our stay delightful.

My family had a truly wonderful time staying here. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the natural beauty of the surroundings. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed (everything you need), offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Loved the pool and water. What made the stay extra special was the warmth and friendliness of the host Wayne, Zee and Monte (friendly dog). All really made us feel at home and Wayne had great eating recommendations. The location is great for soaking in selong balanak charm (laid back), with easy access to the nearby beach (10 mins walk) with Lovely sunsets. Wayne has 4 cycles which are free to use. Kuta 30 mins by car and tangung ban (Bum bum warung & Aloha beach club) and Bikut Merese (Sunset) 45 mins. These should be visited. Hire a car or a bike which is a must to move around. Highly recommend Salty Siesta to anyone looking for a serene and memorable escape. I’d gladly return

This room was comfy, bed was comfy, and I had a beautiful dinner at a restaurant across the street with the most beautiful sunset in the beach. The extraordinary thing though is Tony. He is so friendly and accommodating that I felt like family.

Great place to stay in Kuta! Well located & good communication with owner. Clean and very well kept apartment with big balcony. Very kind caretaker who takes great care of the place and is super helpful!

We chose this accommodation for our honeymoon, everything was perfect. Both the setting and the service or location. We were treated to a perfect lunch every day with more than pleasant service. It's very simple, we really felt at home and we were received perfectly. The service is responsive for everything, at the slightest worry, they find a solution; many services are offered on site such as laundry, snorkeling excursions on the three islands, bicycles for rent, etc. whatever you are looking for, you will find it in this accommodation! And the little plus is that the pool is quite isolated from the road, although it is a common pool, we have no lookouts on us from the different tourists unlike most of the accommodations on the island. The only small negative side, if you have to find one, is that the accommodation is not very well insulated but it is set back from the noise so it is not so disturbing.

I wish I knew about Ayu’s place earlier; I would’ve stayed there a LOT longer! Breezy and home-y, this Airbnb is on the second floor with a killer view of Mount Agung—there’s plenty of visual privacy. I feel truly on vacation at Ayu’s place. As other guests noted, make sure to bring earplugs with you to Amed—pretty much none of the centrally located accommodations is immune from the combination of speeding motorcyclists, karaoke singing tourists, barking dogs, and crowing roosters.
