Hugh's Highland Hideaway

ShellyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Hugh's cottage was absolutely perfect. It is exactly as described. Hugh was very responsive and helpful. And we were lucky enough to stay during lambing season and enjoyed the local baby lambs. Not to mention it's very close and convenient to all the major sites to see. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

This cabin is situated in a beautiful, secluded woodland. It is well equipped, comfortable and warm. The Holt, a communal space with extra everything is also home to a huge range of maps and local information. Christine was welcoming and friendly and the cabin was spotless. Highly recommended! Beinn Shieldaig Yurt

JennaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I stayed here when racing for a triathlon on the area. Brilliant location, very peaceful and all the amenities you really need. Kitchen facilities also really useful. Surprisingly our only issue was the yurt being so hot! A fan may have been nice, but it isn't often it gets to 24 degrees in this part of Scotland so I could never complain about that! There are also a couple of lovely, very well behaved dogs that came to say hello on occasion if we were sitting outside!

Wow what a stunning place this is! The view is exactly like in the pictures, so peaceful and such a great place to watch the world go by. Angus and Ishbel were fantastic hosts and very welcoming. The place was very well equipt with everything you could need and spotlessly clean. It is very well situated for exploring the surrounding area - we enjoyed lots of beautiful hill walks and beaches. We even managed to spot a few seals while sitting out on the deck. What a brilliant week - we would definitely come back!
