The apartment was cozy, very clean and well equipped. Above all, the kitchen offers many possibilities. The outdoor area is very well maintained and the views are breathtaking. Due to the fact that the apartment is located on a slope, the walk to the village is of course a bit exhausting, but still quite doable. Monika was quickly accessible and always warm and helpful.

The house at the upper village end of S. Abbondio is a very well-kept, thoughtfully furnished private retreat that offers unique views of the lake, a pretty garden and premises with all the necessary comfort and plenty of space. We felt very comfortable and thank the host family very much.

We were cross-country skiing and enjoyed the location right by the train station and nearby trails. The place is very nice and practical! In the large garage, in addition to the car, there is also space for skis and sleighs. For our 3 year old it also had many toys and books to discover... We will be happy to come back...

Very lovely chalet with a hot tub - right next to the train and very central. Breakfast in the morning sun, starry sky in the hot tub. Just wonderful!

We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at this place and felt comfortable from the first moment. Serge proved to be an outstanding host, not only extremely friendly and likeable, but also extraordinarily helpful and always committed to our well-being. Right after our arrival, Serge took the time for a detailed house tour and gave us valuable insider tips for the area. His recommendations for restaurants where to dine well, as well as for interesting activities and worth seeing excursions were helpful. The view from the property was breathtaking. A special highlight was the hot tub, which was just the place to relax after an eventful day. We are sure this was not our last visit with Serge and in his fantastic accommodation. We can fully recommend this place and Serge as a host!

Davide's house is really very nice and tastefully renovated. The view is awesome, especially from the large bedroom. Below is a beautiful swimming spot and you can hike directly from the house. The Verzasca Valley is very scenic. In the house there is everything you need. And the food at the Osteria in Corippo is very tasty. Note for dog owners: A frequently used hiking trail leads directly past the garden gate, and dogs also pass by here regularly. You need very relaxed dogs, otherwise you have regular barking at the fence.

You were so pleasantly surprised that what a clean beautiful spacious apartment this was. And that there was free parking. It’s very close to the Lido and a fabulous saltwater spa in town. Locarno, is a nice smallish town. Easy to get around. You must take some boat trips on the ferries, even if you just ride them from place to place.

We had a very nice stay at Daniela’s apartment. The apartment is situated on the hill, very close to the street which leads to the beautiful Valle Verzasca. The apartment is very well equipped and very clean. The view on the lake is a dream as well as the small garden with possibility to sit and drink glasses of wine in the evening. The check in is uncomplicated. The communication with Daniela is easy and fluently and we got all information we needed. Thank you for the nice weekend 😊

Great location of the property with beautiful views of the lake and the Brissago Islands. You can enjoy the sun on the balcony and in the garden. The communication and reception by Katrin was straightforward and I received a lot of information and recommendations for the area. Nearby parking. I would book again anytime.

I travelled alone for a long weekend and had a very pleasant stay at Residence Sabrina. The flat is functional, well located, clean and tidy. Furniture is a little tired but the swimming pool and the garden are kept in pristine condition! Good Wi-Fi speed and comfortable work space, nice balcony and views across the gardens. The bus for Locarno stops just in front of the residence, very well connected to main attractions, great transport links. This is a great place to explore Verzasca and Maggia Valley. Also very close to many restaurants and bars by the lake with 15 min walk to Ascona center. Would definitely come back again!

The apartment was in the perfect location with a view over the lake spanning a full 180 degrees. We spent most of our time relaxing on the balcony and by the pool as it was so hot whilst we were there. Thanks Luisa for everything and being such a welcoming host. Cheers Paul, Sonje and Liam.

Very nice place. Would recommend to everyone that wants to get away and a beautiful view.

The accommodation is wonderfully located (with great views of the lake) and clean. Access by public transport is well possible, but the Postautos (stop very close to the property) do not run very often. The pool is wonderfully large, nice and warm and well maintained. The kitchen equipment is very good - apart from salt, however, it has no spices (oil must also be brought along yourself). The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would book the accommodation again anytime!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Michael's house with three more friends. We loved the charm of the house. There was everything you need. The view is breathtaking and the area is a dream. You can do a lot or just spend the day in the garden/pool and fire up the grill. As a small note : Michael's sister lives on the top floor of the house and in the annex. You share a piece of staircase. But that didn't bother you at all because you have the rest of the house and the garden completely to yourself. We were very pleased and highly recommend it.

Great location, quiet away from crowds and great location for exploring the area. Lake access is immediate.

we had a fantastic time. interaction with interhome and the local keyholder is never easy because communication with keyholder is not done with the airbnb app but usually with external e-mail or phone (so you communicate with interhome agent trough the app; and parallel you try to establish contact with local keyholder through other channels). check in once connection is established works well. payment of local tax is not organized and the work in order to pay it is passed on the guest - local taxes should be included in the air bnb fee.... appartement perfect. location perfect we had a wonderful spring holiday in locarno. kind regards christian
