Private with stunning views, this beautifully refurbished 1950’s A-frame on Lake LBJ is the perfect getaway. Enjoy the wildlife and peaceful setting from the back deck & private dock. Guest reports 3/26: Regular nightcrawlers (not green) worked for sunfish and largemouth bass. Chicken liver caught catfish. The white bass were hitting artificial crank baits You will likely not see another person unless you go to nearby state parks or wineries or to town for antiquing. Canoe & gear provided!

Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck while watching birds, deer, and other wildlife. Spend your day on the beach at the Llano River fishing, swimming, or hunting for rocks. La Casa Roja was designed and built by the owner in 2003 as her idyllic Hill Country escape. This beautiful 10 acre site on the Llano River is the perfect retreat, where heavenly mornings are spent on the 500 sq. ft screened porch sipping coffee, watching birds, and taking in the view. The property has direct river access with deep swimming holes and great fishing, plus two fire pits, breathtaking sunsets, and nothing but wide TX skies (shooting stars included!)

The Llano River is about 500 yards from the property and the Colorado River less than 10 minutes away. Lake LBJ, Lake Buchanan and several other lakes are 10-20 minutes away. Less than 10 minutes from a major grocery store (HEB), 8 restaurants, several drive-in stores, and three Dollar Stores. Wal-Mart is an easy 15 minute drive to beautiful Marble Falls TX. There is swimming, fishing, hiking, wildlife and the beautiful outdoors of the Texas Hill Country.

Located on over an acre of barely-tamed land on the gorgeous Llano River, the Rock Stack is a ruggedly luxurious vacation home.  We’re a place for both the fisherman and the boutique shopper, the explorer and the book-worm, the adults-only getaway and the family-friendly vacation. 2025 Flood Update: We are open and the river is GORGEOUS after the flood. Come see for yourself. (We are also out of the flood plane and we’re not affected by the 2025 floods).
