We had a great time at the trapper's cottage. Although we were afraid of being cold when we arrived at the accommodation, we contacted Genessee upon arrival who was very responsive and came to help us turn on the wood burning stove. The space heated very quickly and throughout the stay the indoor temperature was warm even without the wood burner being turned on. Great environment with walks in the estate and up to the reserve where you can see deer. The cottage may seem small from the outside when you arrive, but in reality it is very spacious and large in depth. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. Change of scenery and tranquility assured. We would definitely recommend Genessee's homes, which is very friendly, warm and caring.

Perfect cottage for families with dogs... The best part was sleeping to the sound of the waves and watching the kites and windsurfers on the water. A real show. The location of the chalet is also to be considered, close to Midinette and several attractions. Well-equipped kitchen, equipment and accessories in good quantity for everyone!

Stop looking, best chalet, hands down. The view on the river is breathtaking, the chalet was spotless, very spacious and extremely well-equipped. Many corners and nooks to read, chill, and be merry. Wonderful experience all around. Oh, and have I mentioned the hot tub, that there is a wonderful garden, and it's dog friendly. Highly recommended.

I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. hello, here's a quick summary of our horse island getaway. We were 8 people (4 couples). the island is a bewitching, refreshing and out of the ordinary place. Our dorm was so well decorated that our eyes were dazzled by such beautiful little touches of decoration made from recycled materials. Everything was sublime and tasteful. What to say about the comfort of the beds, the blankets and pillows, they are worthy of a large hotel. I slept so well with the clean air and the river wind - calm and fullness in the singular. the kitchen is located in the barn. the latter is pristine with a huge chandelier and all the necessary tools to cook! a refreshing stay, we were all dazzled by our hosts and all the amenities that were our litter. each one found his little haven of peace to rest. I recommend this place without hesitation. I plan to come back!

Hi, Very nice and clean accommodation. The neighborhood is nice but at night, there are a lot of homeless people and it's not very reassuring if you come home late.

We had wonderful 4 days at Yves place. Layout is very smart. Wonderful windows and light. Bed very comfortable. Happily cooked in the kitchen. It is well positioned to walk to the old city and along the St. Lawrence River. On the other side of the Marina is an urban garden with the most amazing veggies. We had wonderful neighbors during out stay in the sister house boat next to us. Looking forward to coming back.

We loved this location! It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The boat was clean and had a great view of the city. Yves was an excellent host…very attentive to questions. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect stay with thoughtful hosts. The location is ideal in one of the beautiful villages of the island. The bakery opposite the church is a must. The house is spacious, comfortable and offers all the amenities. Walks on the beach, aperitifs on the balcony and the view of boats passing quietly will definitely put you in vacation mode.

The chalet was nice and cozy! The weather was beautiful with the exception of the last day, and we spent all weekend sitting outside looking at the view. Loved the island and the accessibility of the house.
