Vacation rentals in Lihou Island

We had a delightful peaceful stay in this pretty and comfortable self- contained flat . It was furnished attractively and was a lovely place to spend time in . Spotlessly clean and fresh in a tranquil rural setting that was also easy walking distance to the coast for hikes also a couple of nice local places to eat. There was good information available for the flat and for the vicinity. Well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom . Good local maps and guides . We also found it easy to use the bus service so did not need to rent a car to do the things we wanted to do . We would certainly return.

This place was perfect for me as I was staying for both holiday and work. I wanted somewhere I could cook simple meals and have more privacy. The location is very practical, walkable in 15 mins to local coop and boots, as well as a variety of takeaways in the St Sampsons/Bridge area. 40 minute walk to St Peter Port along the waterfront. I rented an electric bike from Go Guernsey which worked out well as there are cycle paths all the way to town. The road by the property is quite noisy at times but it didn't bother me too much. If youre a light sleeper it might be an issue. The accommodation is small but has everything you need, it feels very homely. Belinda and her husband were very welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed. I had access to laundry facilities including dryer which is handy. There was also a hairdryer, clothes steamer, mini hoover, microwave, toaster, kettle, and hotplate. WiFi wasn't the fastest but it was fine. Overall a good value stay which I would return to.

What a fabulous find! welcome was warm and friendly. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and well presented, everything we needed! Lovely toiletries, towels and linens. A few minutes walk into Liberty square and the bus station. We would highly recommend these apartments run by Amanda and her wonderful team....thankyou to you all for making us feel at home! We will definitely return here on our next visit to Jersey !

An immaculate place. Perfect for a couple with or without a car as there’s a bus stop right outside and easy parking space. Natalie, the host, goes above and beyond. Loved the little details and the thoughtfulness of these, including lots of information leaflets on the local area which helped us to plan our activities. Thank you so much for an easy and comfortable stay. 🥰

Almost on the beach but quiet, parking available but bus stop a few steps away - but most importantly a gracious and friendly hostess and everything that's required in a bedroom and ensuite. Thank you so much Helen x

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. Steph and Mike were fantastic hosts. They left us welcome provisions so we didn’t have to go shopping immediately, including a bottle of fizz, and were always easy to get hold of if we had any questions. The house itself was spotlessly clean and so spacious, comfortable and in a really quiet location. There are some lovely beaches close by and coastal walks, which we did on our first day. After that the weather wasn’t great, but there were so many museums and places to visit we didn’t have enough time during our week there. I would recommend the little Chapel, the Occupation museum, Castle Cornet, Les Caches and Saumarez folk museum. Be aware that a lot of these museums have limited opening times, and if you want to visit Victor Hugo’s house to book ahead. We had a lovely meal out at the Rockmount restaurant, and at Crabby Jack’s. Our favourite! The butcher and deli at Cobo is excellent. I can’t recommend Steph and Mike’s place highly enough

We had a lovely stay at Gîte des Fauconnaires from 4th to 8th May. From the moment we arrived, Corinne and her husband Steve made us feel incredibly welcome. They were warm, friendly, and very easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Everything was exactly as described when we made the booking, and it was clear our hosts had taken care to ensure everything was just right. They were as flexible as they could be with check-in and check-out times, so it’s always worth asking depending on their schedule. A big thank you to our hosts for making our stay so enjoyable – we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The Lodge was the perfect base for our stay in Guernsey. It is light, airy and warm with excellent facilities. Julie has provided everything that could be required. The welcome pack was most thoughtful with local produce including milk, butter and cheese, and and even the dogs had treats. The location is only a short drive from St Peter Port and access to the rest of the island is simple, with local shops and pubs within easy reach. The garden, which has views over a private field, is lovely to sit in and relax. Julie is a kind and considerate host and the Lodge is a super place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and strongly recommend it.
