The beautiful Hallingdalselva flows just outside the cabin wall with possibilities for amazing fishing for trout. When you walk out the door, there are diverse hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity, as well as only a 15-30 minute drive away from mountain peaks, ski resorts, etc. Good space for parking and the possibility of paid charging of electric car.

Unique & idyllic cabin on high mountain. The cottage is located about 1000 m above sea level with stunning views of the mountain world. Modernly furnished with all amenities such as shower, floor heating, fireplace and large panoramic windows. Great hiking terrain at your doorstep both winter and summer time. Bathing area can also be found close to the cabin. Car road all the way to the cabin during summer time. In winter time it is about 3 km from parking to the cabin. Modern Cabin - Magical Christmas - Available Nov/Dec

The cabin has a modern standard and can offer a quiet atmosphere with Skogshorn as a view, large and nice terrace outside and fire pit. You can take a lovely bath in the bathtub, fire in the fireplace or take a quiet relaxing day with a book in bed. There are many hiking opportunities at Golsfjellet both winter and summer, ski slopes and nice bike paths. It takes about 25 minutes to Hemsedal with Norway's largest alpine resort, restaurants and High and Low climbing park. The nearest grocery store is Joker Robru about 10 minutes from the cabin.

Experience nature and a simple life. There are no cars, no facilities, and no other people close by. Outhouse, wood burning, a simple kitchen with gas for cooking. Striking nature just outside the door, with forest, marshes, water and endless hiking opportunities. In the winter, the ski slopes stretch for miles. At the same time, the sturgeon is only 12 km from Sundre (Ål city center), about 20 minutes by car, and 7 km from Ål ski center, about 12 minutes by car. Newly built cabin at Torpoåsen in Hallingdal is rented out when we do not use it ourselves. Located in the middle of the mountains at Ål and in Hemsedal. Driveable road all the way up to the cabin from June to November. In winter you have to go skiing 1 km. in flat, prepared terrain, or rent scooter transport into the cabin (we arrange a ride). Our cabin was renovated and rebuilt in the fall of 2022 and we could warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to the loft/loft with double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washer/dryer and well equipped Kitchen. In the loft there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge EV.

Cosy little cabin

The cabin is very small, but quite comfortable. (Around 10 kvm) The bathroom is separate. Rustic interior. Most suitable for couples and good friends. If you need more space, take a look at the other cabin on our farm, (Cottage anno 1711) Sauna can be rented. 300NOK / 30 Euro per use. If you arrive by train or bus, we can pick you up at the station. For this we will charge 150 NOK / 15 Euro per way.
