Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lewis Smith Lake

Leigh Anne was an amazing host! She was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. The delicious cinnamon rolls she left as a welcome gift were such a sweet treat! The home was even more beautiful than the pictures! Every room was gorgeous, cozy and felt so well thought out. We had our family Thanksgiving here and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed (pots,pans, cutting boards, knives, serving utensils etc). The property was breath taking. There were so many places to hike, fish, relax, play and soak it all in! It was an amazing trip (my sister got engaged on the trip so that was special too)!! We loved every minute and will definitely be back!

We had a great stay with room to spread out and great views. The home was furnished with everything we needed plus some- we even had a chance to sit around the fire pit for a while one night. Highly recommend!

Private, secluded location right on Smith Lake in protected cove. Grandson caught a 2' catfish from the dock while we were there. Beautiful view of the lake from the living room. Easy, close access to the covered dock with paved stone path. Kitchen nicely stocked with essentials. Would rent from Margaux again.

The place was cozy and super cute. The living room and kitchen area were beautifully done and cozy. Fav part of bedroom was the window right there at your head, you could lay awake in the morning and stare at the water. The bathroom was nice too. The outdoor living area was really nice. We spent probably 80% of our time there. Great boat dock too. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing. My husband caught a nice sized bass. The fire pit area was very nice also, we sat there and watched the sunset. The landscaping and solar lights are nicely done and gave us ideas for our own home. We chose place as a mini trip for a special occasion. Thanks for a great stay!

A great place for three generations. Had two graduations in Tuscaloosa and a wedding at the Tine Farm as well. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. Beds were very comfortable. Liz was very responsive and had well explained instructions.

The house is beautiful, plenty spacious and very comfortable with everything needed. Clean, plenty of towels, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Lovely setting, and due to recent rain a beautiful waterfall coming off the hillside and running under the bridge as you come into the parking area of the house added to the experience. We were all comfortable and enjoyed the view of the lake. Still cool outside, so we didn’t swim, but it was a lovely place to get together with my family for a wonderful weekend! Certainly recommend and we will visit again!

The house was beautiful. Extremely clean and comfortable. The beds were exceptionally nice. My family had an awesome stay. The cozy cottage had everything you need to feel right at home. Beautiful location and view. The double decker pier was terrific, and allowed us to utilize and stay on the lake and outside longer. The large patio is perfect for relaxing, reading, or taking a nap. We ate dinner every night outside. We hope to come back again and again for our annual lake trips.

Sunset Point was wonderful! It was well-adorned, spacious, beautifully-decorated, and in a great location. Having access to the convenient, secure neighborhood boat launch was a big plus. We enjoyed hours of fun with the provided paddle boards, lilly pad, and kayaks. The arcade, games, hot tub, and fire pit (with firewood provided) were also favorites. The master shower was wonderful, the bathrooms were stocked unusually well, and the kitchen boasted of a great island, coffee and waffle bar, and ample staple items. The home offered comfortable living spaces on each of the 3 floors, which was great for our multiple families. The wrap-around back porch offered ample seating and beautiful lake views. Both the inside and outside provided convenient spaces of solitude as well. I especially liked reading my book from a chair positioned between boulders on the way to and overlooking the pier. Bill was very responsive. We loved our time at his beautiful place and highly recommend it! 👍🏻

Our stay was great. The lake is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Condo was very clean. Owner was friendly and responsive and let us check in early, which made our timing much easier as we were trying to meet up with family in the area and needed to unload our car. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Greg’s lovely condo! It’s the perfect location with easy access to launch your boat at Duncan Bridge. The home has everything needed for you stay! Greg went above and beyond to find us a boat slip to use last minute for our stay!

Tucked away in a neighborhood but just blocks from downtown Cullman made this a convenient place to stay for the track meet at the high school. It is on the 2nd floor, in a quiet neighborhood, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend! Check in and communication was easy and this fit our needs perfectly for a quick two night stay.

Perfect place to stay for close access to Smith Lake Park. Boat trailer parking was easy right outside the front door and outside electrical hookup for batteries. Great little spot to stay at Smith Lake.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy lakeside retreat on Smith Lake! The house was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning—sunrises and sunsets from the deck were a daily highlight. We loved having direct access to the water for swimming and kayaking, and the quiet, peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing escape. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing clear check-in instructions and great local recommendations. Whether you’re looking to unwind with nature or enjoy some time on the water, this place is a perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!

If you are looking for an older lake home you can sit back and enjoy, this is your place. The dock with kayaks, paddle boards, lily pad, high jump off dock could not have been better. My family had a great time. The only downside is it has MANY steps down to the dock. BUT, the house up on the cliff makes for the million dollar veiw.

Just as described! Clean and cozy. Loved the back view of the water. We stayed to go enjoy the National Bankhead Forest waterfalls.

so cute! very clean and cozy. Had a good kitchen with full stove and microwave and full size refrigerator. Everything was so clean, near and tidy. front porch was great to sit and look at the water. nice repurposed pontoon deck to sit on right on the water. only thing somewhat less peaceful is the road right next to the property where people fly coming and going but you can't hear the road noise once in the cabin. still give it 10 stars for accessibility and comfort.

This was the perfect location for our group! We loved relaxing in the lake and the cabin was so cute and cozy! Nikki our host was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Really enjoyed this weekend get away and hopefully will return in the future!

The pictures are absolutely true to life! The house and view were a restful haven for our family. We spent lots of time at the lake and on the dock. The dock is in an alcove of sorts, so it was perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming without fear of boats passing too close by. Bring dish towels with you (that’s the only thing I forgot that wasn’t provided). Great host and we will be back!
