What a beautiful place to stay - right next to a nature reserve, with the oyster catchers and curlews calling at night and wildlife wandering into the garden. But also very close to pubs, coffee shop and the sea. Great if you like birds, wildlife and peace and quiet.

Lesley and her husband were their when we arrived (2hrs early) they were putting the finishing touches to the cleaning. They very friendly and kindly allowed us to enter immediately. The parking was on the driveway. The welcome pack was extensive and good quality. The property was clean, tidy and modern fittings for bathrooms and kitchen. Everything was of a high standard, lacking nothing. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Beautiful flat in the heart of Rochester

We had a lovely stay at Becky’s place. The house was very clean and comfortably spacious for our group of seven — no small feat when you’re trying to coordinate showers, tea rounds and who gets the comfy seat in the garden. The terrace and garden were a real highlight, with a little sea view that made morning coffees and evening drinks feel extra pleasant. The value for money was excellent, which we really appreciated. Now, the location… well, let’s just say Sheppey has a certain rugged charm. It’s not exactly buzzing with activity, but if you’re looking to unplug, stare at the sky and listen to seagulls with strong regional accents, you’re in the right place. The house itself is simple and functional. Becky was responsive and helpful throughout, and the listing was accurate. Thanks again for the stay!

We had such an incredible time at this house. We were all pleasantly surprised at how great the house was and all the amenities. I don’t think the advert does it justice. We were a big group of 21 with 11 little ones who were in HEAVEN. We got very lucky with the weather and spent the whole weekend in the glorious grounds. We brought our own paddling pool and it was perfect. The aspect of the house means you get stunning sunsets and the back terrace is a real sun trap - long evenings sunbathing until 7pm! The surrounding area is stunning and the local village is so beautiful!! Walking distance (even with a million young children) to the village shop and then on to the very well equipped play park. We only wish we could have stayed for a week, the kids never wanted to leave. Some very special memories made here! Rachel the host is on the end of the phone for any questions and was excellent at responding to our queries.

Robert was a great host and quick to fix any minor issues. Super house in a quiet area. I was working in the area but if you are a bird watcher there is lots to do. The local pub was very welcoming too. The loo is downstairs which may worry some but was fine with us. The garden was dog friendly as it was fully enclosed. The decor is super stylish.

A beautiful apartment in a great location. Bernadette was responsive and went over and above in accommodating my early flight arrival and late departure. The apartment had guests departing on my arrival but Leanne still managed to have it cleaned and ready for me to check in (early), thank you. If you are looking for a place that is literally 45mins from London (by train, station across the road), 5mins walk to Leigh Broadway with its shops and restaurants, and all the creature comforts of home, this is your place to stay.

Had a great stay at Claire's house. Claire was very helpful & responsive on messages. The location is perfect, walking distance to the village for the cafe's and the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and the outside space was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon and evening. Thanks Claire for a great stay!

What a fantastic stay we had! This place is more than just a caravan. It felt like home from home. Such a spacious, comfortable and all round perfect place to stay. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. The host was responsive and even came to the caravan to help us with some things when we arrived. Very close to whitstable, Hearn bay and not far from Broadstairs we visited them all. We will definitely be back.

We were only in the area a couple days for a family reunion so we really only slept in the accommodation but everything was there we would definitely book again

Had a lovely stay for two nights. Accommodation was very clean and well equipped. Host was excellent in communication . Had a lovely swim in the heated pool on sight and was literally 2 min walk to beach. On site restaurant was good for Sunday lunch and entertainment was good. Only thing to be aware of was onsite shop and take away on site shut early on Sunday

We had a wonderful stay at Gills caravan. It was spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchen. ( we like cooking) The rooms were very comfy and the outside space was a plus in the sunshine. Gill was extremely helpful and friendly and the area was very dog friendly with loads of lovely walks straight from the site. It was our first time In The area and we will definitely be back. We had a fabulous stay at the caravan, it has everything you need and is very comfortable. It is very clean and cosy. Tracy is the best host and goes beyond helping you feel at home. The site in June was quiet which is what we like. There are wonderful walks on the doorstep and the beach is two minutes away. Mersea island is a little gem!

We stayed at Kirsty’s Carvan as a family of 5, the van was absolutely spotless and so many homely touches that made our weekend perfect, lovely bit of decking and seating area outside we really enjoyed as the weather was beautiful. Great communication from Kirsty we will definitely book again Thank you!

We had a brilliant stay at Sandy’s! The cabin is lovely and homely, the bed was comfortable. The bottles of water, fruit bowl and biscuits were such a nice touch too. We felt at home and comfortable in our own private space. We loved the outdoor seating too. The only minor complaint was we couldn’t get the air conditioning working but really that was our fault for not testing it earlier in day!

Fabulous cottage and garden. Well equipped and great location. Duncan was the perfect host, would highly recommend, we loved it.

I enjoyed my stay immensely, the local pub across the way a short op seconds stroll has an exceptional range of high quality food, serves by really friendly staff. If I ever need to be back in this part of the UK I shall certainly be seeking to return to this apartment.

Fantastic lodge, just as described, spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Ideally located to visit Maldon, Burnham, Leigh on sea etc. Good choice of country inns and cafes. Would definately stay again.

Extremely clean. Sauces etc in kitchen was unexpected and a very nice touch . Ditto Extra duvets, pillows in wardrobes. Shampoo etc in bathroom. Single beds very comfy. Double bed has a firm mattress. Very nice stay. Would definitely stay here again
