The Cottage

The Cottage, with a studio style layout, is a bright and clean space just one mile from historic downtown lees summit with local shops, bars and restaurants. The cottage is ~20 min from downtown Kansas City and 15 min from Kaufman and Arrowhead Stadium. This newly renovated 1900s milk barn is unique and special with a lot of charm, with a few of the modern conveniences. Guests are welcome to take advantage of the two acre landscaped yard and enjoy a delicious s’more at the outdoor fire pit!

Truly one of a kind Historic property converted into a spacious, cozy loft in the heart of South KC. This 100-year-old space(5 min from HS Truman farm. He spoke on this stage on his first political campaign) has been completely rennovated with concrete countertops, beautifully vaulted ceilings, huge bathroom, built in workspace and even a fun kid's room. GORGEOUS/CHIC w/ 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms! Less than a mile to downtown LS. Easy highway access to all KC metro attractions within less than 30 minutes away! Absolutely NO drugs, parties, couch sleeping, pets, big rig parking or smoking/vaping inside allowed & if so booking will be forfeited. Drop in guests are only permitted with permission. The kitchen sink backs up a bit when doing laundry upstairs, but NOT an issue & only done during day hours.

Great Space! 2 Blocks from Downtown Lee's Summit!

5 minute walk to downtown Lee's Summit! My place is close to great restaurants, coffee shops, family-friendly activities, shopping, bars and a whole slew of entertainment. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). A park is directly across the street as well:)

My dog and I stayed in Jim's place just one night while on a road trip back east. Wow, was this place absolutely cute; the location felt so remote, yet was just a couple minutes away (by car) from a major grocery store, gas station, etc. - the best of both worlds. Jim's place was super clean and comfortable, and very well decorated, with all the amenities one could want. The house was situated amongst beautiful rolling hills and farmland, and provided a safe place to walk my dog. Overall I was extremely impressed with the space, both inside and out, and would totally recommend it to anyone traveling to or through the Kansas City area.

We loved staying in this enchanting cabin. The cabin is so modern yet quaint and cozy. The entire wall of windows opens up to an outside view. Including a stream and bridge. The morning views were peaceful and the evening views were lit up with lights hanging from the trees. Everyone we met were so nice and helpful with anything we needed. We truly couldn't have asked for more.

The dining area features a long rectangular table surrounded by black chairs, designed for group gatherings. A fireplace is situated on one side, while large windows allow natural light to fill the room. A modern chandelier provides additional illumination, and artwork adorns the walls.

Great communication and friendly host. They could minimize the expectation of what’s done/cleaned when you leave. They should operate more like a hotel (don’t ask me strip the beds and take out the trash).
