We spent an unforgettable Thanksgiving weekend at Robert’s house. This house is more than just an accommodation, its a whole experience of slow countryside living at its best. The house is beautiful, filled with light and books. It is well lived in and has everything that you might need. We were happy to find the fully operational kitchen as we needed to cook the Thanksgiving dinner. Even though we brought a lot of cooking supplies with us, we could totally skip it - the kitchen has everything that you might need. The heating works well, we only needed to turn it on for couple hours in the evening. Robert was proactive and left us very detailed instructions. So if you hesitate whether you should book this place or not, let this review be a sign for you. Come stay at the Bell house and let your dream of a cottage in the woods cme true. Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

This place was beautiful, and perfect for our short trip to the area. Randy, the host, made great recommendations and was so knowledgeable about where to find everything in and around Rockport. Everything was on one floor which was perfect as we were travelling with a 6 month old youngling. The back deck was a lovely feature for morning coffee and tea, plenty of seating outside. The kitchen was sparkling, lots of fridge space and everything we could have needed to prepare some delicious meals. The weather was uncooperative while we were visiting, we were SO fortunate to have such a beautiful open space to stay in. The kids loved the game console in the green bedroom, and are very excited to return. This whole place is lovely, and that is to say nothing of the host who was so quick to respond to questions and helped us find a place close by to rent a fishing boat for the day. The price is beyond reasonable for what you’re renting here - don’t miss on this one!

No notes!! My husband and I had an incredible stay here. Aleks and Amy were truly amazing hosts who went above and beyond for us. The space is lovely and we really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at Braden’s place. The home was a perfect gateway for 2 people. Big plus for having plenty of firewood for the guests to use. The home was clean & had all the amenities for a great relaxing stay.

This place truly felt like a home away from home—beautiful, peaceful, and even better than the photos! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed—and more. The host was very kind and responsive. He let us use the firewood he had stocked, provided two BBQ grills, and had lots of board games perfect for kids. The house is fully carpeted, so using the front door with shoes can get messy. We used the back door through the garage so our shoes could stay inside. You can tell the host is very clean and takes pride in the home. There are also two canoes (we didn’t use due to weather). Thousand Islands Boat Tour is just 37 minutes away—perfect for a day trip. Would definitely stay again!

Great spot, our team stayed here and had plenty of good things to say about it. Well priced, good location, clean spot. Will definitely book again if we’re back in the area!

We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this immediately became one of our favorites. Beautiful spot on the river, relaxing hot tub and everything was super clean. The place was very comfortable for our family. It was a rainy weekend, so we didn’t get to take full advantage of all the outdoor amenities but hope to come back at some point for pickleball and kayaking.

Wow, what a beautiful home! Hosts were great communicators and were very thoughtful. The space was large, well appointed and very clean. We wished we could have stayed longer to use the beautiful outdoor space. Hope to return one day!

We loved our stay! Great location, close drive to food, vineyards, and more. Amazing perk to get access to the Sandbanks pass. Lots of space in the unit as well. We hope to stay again in the future.

Sebastian’s place was absolutely wonderful, my husband and I came for our one year anniversary with no set plans about what we wanted to do in the area. The place was gorgeous, perfect little home away from home, in the mornings we drank our coffees on the front deck watching the butterflies in the garden, and in the evenings the hot tub barn made for a really beautiful evening hangout. Sebastian included a great bulletin board of things to do in the area with a fun ranking system so during the day my husband and I made a little road trip out of the most recommended attractions. I highly recommend the Petroglyph provincial park - it genuinely took our breath away. Thank you Sebastian for such a wonderful stay!

spacious clean apartment with small but full kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable king bed. a little tricky to find .. house numbers small ... and had a bit of trouble at check in .. but Barbara was very responsive to a phone call and greeted us with the key code we needed to get in. no river view as it was fall but just a short walk from house.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

We love staying here and have for years. It’s one of the best getaway spots in the ADK. Sandy is Ana amazing host, too. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we could possibly need. From the little touches to the overall setup, it was clear that a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. The environment was incredibly quiet, perfect for relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming—they truly went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. Their lightning-fast responses made communication effortless and reassuring. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, completely hassle-free. Everything was smooth from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

Awesome little barn, perfect for the getaway that my wife and I had planned. Also, great value! Will definitely be back.

A couple of things that stood out for us was the abundance of towel racks and hooks in the bathroom as well as dimmers on all of the overhead lights (such a relief from glare!). We would stay here again.

I was coming into the Adirondacks to do some backpacking. We were going to be arriving late and starting the trip early in morning, so we just needed a place to crash for the night and sort some gear in the morning while we had breakfast. This was a perfect spot and exactly what we needed, though it would have been tempting to relax there for a few days.

Katherine and William offered us a perfect stay at their cottage on the rapids! They were extremely accommodating and allowed us a little extra time for check out after missing a day to unplanned circumstances. Finding the place was seamless- and we checked in to a super clean place, with a sweet handwritten note and gift for us on the kitchen table :-) The water was very fast at the time of our trip so we had difficulties with the boats and did not get to paddle, so just keep that in mind at the time of booking. Fishing isn’t super great off the dock so we had to travel around to calmer areas of the river for that, but there are many. When they say there are many bugs, they mean it! Cover yourself in bug spray before you leave to help with the swarms. The cabin has a great protective curtain between the bedroom which prevents bugs from getting in. They have plenty of supplies and come by to provide extra if you request it! Overall 10/10 experience and would stay again :-)

This place was so cozy and quiet you almost not want to leave.. beds were super comfortable and all the little attentions that Margaret left behind for us were a very pleasant surprise. We explored the grounds and made it down by the lake, which is beautiful and must be great for swimming in the summer. We stayed four nights and would have stayed longer to explore the surroundings with much to discover. We highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back when returning to Kingston.

We had a wonderful time, it was easy going with Elizabeth and john ! We loved our time there and would recommend to anybody who wants peace and quiet ! The sheep are just a beautiful addition to it !! Thank you we will reserve again for sure !

I stayed in the bunkie for 5 weeks. I had a very wonderful and peaceful time . The hosts went over and above to ensure my comfort and enjoyment. The surrounding area is very quaint, lovely and historical. A gem for the region.
