Amazing New Hampshire retreat, well kept and a very responsive host.

We love the library! Stayed here 4 times now. It's a special place filled with history, in a beautiful area with quite a bit to do nearby. The fireplace is lovely and cozy, the bed is super comfortable, the kitchenette has everything you need, and we love that it's dog friendly too. There were even some toys for our pup to enjoy during our stay. Highly recommend for a unique and special getaway!

Despite some snow and a power outage, our family had a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday at this property. The gas fireplace was a blessing and helped us stay warm during the outage. The house was well-equipped and had all amenities as advertised. Merrill was a great host!

The house was perfect for our needs. There are 8 single beds with several hang out spaces. the kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean and comfortable.

Dan & Holly are amazing hosts. They provided everything needed to make our week great. They left dining recommendations and all of the information we needed for the property. It was the perfect space for our family. The on-site amenities were great. The pool space was super clean and the staff was amazing. The property is well maintained and we had everything we needed to feel at home. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Downtown Rutland was a short drive, and there was so much to see just minutes from the property. Dan & Holly are extremely responsive and truly think of everything. We had no questions and checking in and out was a breeze because they are so thorough. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

We had a wedding to attend at The Barn on the Pemi. Vikis place is literally only a 4 min drive away! Great place to stay for any event here. Very peaceful !

We loved our stay here!! It was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The property is beautiful and private but close to anything that you might need. The kitchen was super well stocked, beds were comfy, and we really appreciated the firewood supply. Nikki & Topher were great hosts - extremely responsive to all questions we had and proactive about check in/check out instructions. Would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. We came with our 6 month old and 3 year old daughters and pup. There was plenty of space for the whole family and very kid friendly. We were saying when we were there that it would have been amazing with a group of friends for a girls weekend too! Beautiful spot where you feel like you’re deep in the Vermont woods but super close to downtown Woodstock. Would love to stay again if available!

We had a great stay at William’s. The location was beautiful and the house was comfortable. We had a great mix of day-tripping and relaxing with a view. We also ran into William and he was very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful spot to relax, reconnect and leave refreshed! We enjoyed everything about our stay, especially the sauna, living pool, and hike to the yurt! We would love to return, thank you for sharing such a peaceful place with us, it was exactly what we needed.

Our stay was wonderful at the cabin. The cabin was clean and centrally located to winter activities. Andrea was very responsive. Cant wait to go back again

I enjoyed my stay at the retreat. It is a quiet, serene environment. It is very private as long as no one is staying at the adjoining unit (and even if there is, the walls are sound-proofed and you don't hear a thing.) Rosalind was a kind and helpful host. She even brought me some computer paper when I ran out! I would definitely stay there again in the future.

We were stuck in from the rain, but it was the place you’d want to be in that case. We had games and entertainment as well as the recreation center to occupy our time. Time was well spent with family and we had plenty of room too. We’ll definitely book again!

Laurie was a wonderful host — very friendly and attentive. Her home is in a beautiful setting and the unit is clean and comfortable. Pet-friendly too, which was a bonus for us. We enjoyed staying in Laurie's home and would return.

The Treehut was exactly the off-grid weekend we needed! Leading up to our stay, Brooke was responsive and gave great recommendations for outdoor activities in the area. The directions for parking and getting to the Treehut were easy. There was a short walk from the parking area to the place, which was lit by lanterns, though I recommend having headlamps if you'll be arriving after sunset (two are provided inside the hut). The Treehut itself was so cozy, and had everything we needed. We used the single-burner stove for eggs in the morning, and the grill for lunch and dinner (followed by s'mores by the fire pit)! While we were looking forward to using the little stove inside, the place was insulated well enough that it actually stayed fairly warm. The outdoor shower was a highlight: instant and seemingly unlimited hot water meant we took long showers in the rain, taking in the beauty all around us. We also very much enjoyed lounging in the cozy bed.I can't recommend the Treehut enough!

Dear Sandra, The cottage was great. It is less than 5 miles from our family in Reading. We came to visit our daughter and her family, our only 3 grandchildren. Everything we needed was available. Every morning I had my coffee while enjoying the beautiful view. My husband has mobility problems, and he was able to get around fine. Shattuck Hill will be our only place to stay when we visit. Our stay at Tim and Renee’s was perfect. Gorgeous tiny house, super comfy, the hot tub was amazing. The spot the Airbnb is on is very private and peaceful. South Royalton is a cute little town with a nice food coop and coffee shop. Tim and Renee were super responsive the couple of times we had questions. Would absolutely come back.

What a lovely and serene spot to spend a few days in the Mountains of Vermont! Loved waking up to views of horses in the field by the private deck and a breathtaking mountain view. The hosts were kind and communicative. The space was clean and had just the right amount of amenities. Definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

Staying in this beautiful cabin was a dream. Tucked away in nature, it gave me the peace and clarity I was searching for. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up—perfect for a quiet solo escape. I spent time walking the trail on the property, surrounded by trees and it felt like a little piece of magic. Ariana is a truly special host—warm, generous, and living a life that is deeply inspiring. She welcomed me into her home with kindness and even invited me to join her and her family for dinner, which made the experience feel so personal and meaningful. The animals on the farm are so well cared for, and it was such a joy to spend time with them—feeding baby goats, playing with the cats, and just being in that slow, intentional rhythm of life. This was my first solo trip, but definitely not my last—and I know I’ll return here again. It was everything I didn’t know I needed!

The view simply amazing. George our host was and he is all the things a good host should be; welcoming, helpful, accommodating, great personality and an awesome dog as well. I will strongly recommend this location if staying on top of a mountain with great views and a warm shower sounds like a great day to you. We stayed in the main cabin and it had everything we needed and then some. Very cool vintage design feel and very clean. Great job George! We will be back!
