Family-friendly vacation rentals in Le Morne

a superb holiday in a faithful and comfortable rental. adapted and dunctional pool. Good hygiene and a verandah with ocean views. the furniture is in the theme of the island and gives a lot of charm to the stay. the only downside is the weak wifi in some rooms of the house, otherwise there is nothing to say. very good stay and the pool was a plus for all the family. The concierge is really great and responsive.

An ideal place to explore Mauritius, its beaches and inland and find calm, comfort and idleness in the late afternoon! Super equipped accommodation where you can feel at home right away. Ambroise and Ganesh's hospitality is remarkable. Attentive, available and concerned with our installation. I can only confirm the many testimonials in this sense that we had read before coming: everything is true! and perfect:-)

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely house. The location is superb, so is the garden.

My wife and I stayed in Nicolas' home on our honeymoon, and we could not have been happier. Nicolas' brother, Armand, was generous enough not only to pick us up at the airport (about 45 minutes away from the home), but also to show us a good breakfast spot and eat with us on the beach, find us a car to rent and then drive us to the car rental place and help us coordinate, jump our car later in the week when it wouldn't start, and stock the fridge with a few essentials. Aside from his incredible hospitality, the house is a dream: four gorgeous bedrooms (the one we stayed in even had air conditioning!), and an unbeatable view from two patios that we ate breakfast on every morning. The house is conveniently located to great beaches and Mauritius tourist attractions (Casela Nature Park, Black River Gorges, Tamarin Falls, just to name a few, and not too far of a drive from the south's main attractions either). If we ever return to Mauritius, it will definitely be to this home!

We stayed for a week at Harry and Malini's. The accommodation is very well located, close to the sea and shops. I have nothing else to say, our week was excellent! Thanks to them for hosting us and for their kindness.

great stay! the villa is very large with 4 suites...with bathroom and outdoor shower. and large space. the beautiful and amazing pool! we also took the services of Poorinha who is very helpful and cooks wonderfully! in summary: excellent stay in the villa just a note about the condition of the house which is fine but is starting to age a little.

The location in the middle of the national park is fantastic. Quiet and safe, but you won't get very far without a rental car. The house was much nicer than you could have guessed before and the perfectly equipped kitchen surprised us very much. We have never had such good amenities in an Airbnb Everything was clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the time. The pool was pleasant and the air conditioning in the rooms worked very well. Only in the living area it was very warm, unfortunately you could not spend much time there. Mosquito spray is highly recommended but that applies to the whole island. Thank you for the great time.

My family and I had a great time at the villa. As you can see it is right on the water with easy beach access and stunning views. The outdoor seating area provides a great place to gather and get out of the sun. The maid was very pleasant and spoke excellent English. In addition Sophie arranged for a chef for the entire week so we didn’t have to worry about cooking. The villa itself if very nice and has all the amenities that you need. It was a great trip and would come back and stay here anytime!

We stayed at this property for 3 nights and it was fantastic. The property and the entire estate complex, in which the property is situated, is a delight. Mr. Roelf provided with very specific instructions for checking in and provided with necessary information. The amenities provided by him were amazing, including board games and tennis rackets and scooters to commute within the estate complex. It has a great tennis court. Now, specifically the situation of the property is such that it's overlooking the mountains and estate itself serves as a private yacht parking for individual houses. The view is beautiful even when you're simply relaxing at the private deck. The location point could serve as a central point for going either way to Tamarin,Le Morne,Casela Park,Seven Colored earth and Grand Bassin. There are a couple of supermarkets within 3 kms range. The only missing thing was a water purifier for drinking water at the property. Rest all was great. Overall, a wonderful experience

Sheila was an exceptional host, friendly, always responsive to calls/texts and even went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (especially with her family for airport runs and car rental!!) Our lengthy stay was a home from home! We couldn’t thank her enough 🙏🏽 The place is a nice, big spacious apartment in the heart of rural Mauritius, small local shops close by - be prepared for some bugs in the evening, but friendly (and shy!) geckos, who actually help eat the bugs! Belle Mare beach (one of the best on the island) only 10 minutes away by car. La Riviere restaurant was also recommended by Shelia and is must to eat at, no need to make a reservation, you can just turn up! On our last day we also visited an island called Ile Aux Cerf which was a short drive and then boat ride away! Shelia also provided us with basic essentials: water, juice, sugar, cutlery, cleaning products and household basics. On top of all that she also provided a very useful welcome guide. Overall 10/

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

Set in a very quiet street and a very easy walk to the beach and shops. The main supermarket as Cascavelle is a 10 minute drive. The apartment is just as described and tastefully decorated with everything you need for a short or long term stay. There's plenty of space with a large dining area, well equiped kitchen with an added extra of a water filter jug. Beautifully decorated bedrooms, one with an en suite and also a large seperate shower and toilet for the other bedroom. The open plan lounge area has comfotable seating and a tv. There is a seperate breakfast bar by the kitchen hatch area. AC is available in the bedrooms and lounge. There is a small covered seating area outside. I was able to put my car inside the property. Wifi reception is very good. The property was spotlessly clean and I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you want easy access to many of the beautiful sights in the south of Mauritius. Thank you Shanon and your family for making my stay so lovely.

We were allowed to spend 10 nights at Amelie's. She is a great host with lots of tips and nice conversations. The property is centrally located in Tamarin, shopping nearby and less than 1 km to Tamarin Public Beach. Through the hostess' garden you can reach the beach for wonderful sunsets and in the morning you can discover dolphins. The place is nice and large and has a great outdoor kitchen with living area right by the pool. If you are a light sleeper, you may be awakened by car traffic in the morning. The southwest of Mauritius is perfect for hiking in the national park and many other activities. We would stay at Amelie's again on our next visit to Mauritius.

The apartment is located in a great location overlooking the Le Morne mountain, there is a garden, swimming pool. Approximately 2 km walk from the public beach of Le Morne, 4 km to the climb point of the mountain. There is no grocery store nearby and there is only one restaurant, so it is advisable to have a car. The apartment is on the first floor, the host family lives on the second floor. The condition is a bit shabby but has every comfort. Among the disadvantages: noisy air conditioner in the bedroom, in some places there were small ants, preferably more plates. Hosts Sergey and Tatiana are responsive, always ready to help. Overall, I recommend. Good value.

The location is beautiful, the accommodation is very beautiful and spacious, and especially François and his family are very kind, generous and caring! I hope to see you soon!

We had a great time at Villa Pampas 2. The house was superb, clean, very well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The garden and pool allow you to fully enjoy your stay as well. A big thank you for hosting Soumila and her little dishes which are a treat. Excellent communication with the owners. We recommend it ++

Before arrival Archad was very responsive and helpful. Upon arrival we were met and shown around the house and shown how everything worked etc. The house was very clean with large rooms. The location is good - easy to get to Port Louis outside of rush hour and the motorways around the rest of the island. The (basically) private beach added a touch of luxury. House manager Natasha is very responsive and always on hand. We had an issue (nothing to do with the house) and Natacha was over later the same day and all sorted on a Sunday. Would recommend highly.

Both Virginia and Reena were fantastic. We felt they went over and above to make sure we were well looked after and happy. The house is fabulous, probably better than the photos, the views are stunning. Some of our stay we were the only ones on the property and always felt safe and secure. This was our second time at Flamboyant View and we plan to return.

Had a wonderful stay at Coralie & Astrides place in Latitude luxury apartments . The service they provided from check in to late checkout, due to our late flight was great.They even left us a bottle of prosecco and a card for our 25th wedding anniversary, which was a lovely surprise. The apartment was as decribed. Better than the photos. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The Large terrace was a fantastic space for chilling, with amazing views of the ocean and Le Mourne. The grounds and swimming pool were lovely and never busy. You could always find an empty sun lounger. Shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Ruisseau Creole was a lovely shopping mall with nice cafes and restaurants Bistro La Poste and Happy Rajah are worth a visit for food. Thankyou for a lovely stay we would definitely book again.

We are very satisfied with our 4 night stay. We were lucky enough to meet Géraldine who is very nice and smiling. She is a responsive host and caring about making us have a good time. The location is good as long as you have a vehicle to discover the surroundings (10 minutes from the public beach of Le Morne), the elevated view is beautiful and the spaces are large with large bay windows. The room on the ground floor is less pleasant than that of the stay and some refreshments could be made (painting and quality of towels). The kitchen is very well equipped. Pleasant bedding. The wifi only worked intermittently unfortunately. A big thank you; we could come back and we recommend the place.

The place was very good, clean, comfortable and as described. The location is ideal, close to everything. Chaima was very responsive and really nice, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it! Thanks Chaima!!

Beautiful house in a unique and quiet location. Very nice that a nice meal is prepared daily. This made our stay much more relaxing. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and perfectly chilled. The view is breathtaking and after a day on a trip it is wonderful to relax at this quiet place. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wanting to visit Mauritius.
