Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Le Hom

David was very warm and welcoming and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the house which was very spacious and comfortable for five of us. The garden was a delight with beautiful roses in bloom and it was quiet and sheltered to sit out in and listen to the birdsong. It was quite one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in.

Vanaf begin een warm welkom van Julie, en een warm gevoel bij het binnenkomen van het huis. Een mooi, gezellig ingericht huis, met alle voorzieningen. Gelegen in een rustige, groene omgeving. Veel privacy, grote tuin waar de kinderen konden spelen. De ligging van het huis is gunstig, om te combineren met trips in Normandie. Zoals bijvoorbeeld de invasiestranden, Honfleur. Wij hebben intens genoten van het huis, een ervaring om niet te vergeten!!

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

À peine rentré dans la maison qu'on a l'impression d'être déjà chez soi ! Parfait pour un week-end en famille ou entre amis. La décoration est authentique et il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bons moments sur place. Florence bien que n'étant pas présente sur place est très réactive. Terrain de pétanque, table de ping pong, baby foot, filet de volley et ballons en tout genre, jeux de société lecture. Nous aurons même plaisir à revenir ☺️

A “cabin” in the woods, peaceful except for the Mourning Dove mourning down the chimney and the cows lowing across the fence, every possible amenity was provided including wine, beer and cidre in the fridge and a very well -stocked bar. Bed was wonderful for nine nights and that may be a travel record. Typical European shower, enough said, didn’t try the sauna but it looked good. Lots more little niceties. However, if you require active, powerful internet and cell coverage bring your Starlink.

Such a beautiful stay at Evelyne’s place. Gite is exactly like the photos and the garden and pool area is stunning.

Céline et Stéphane sont des hôtes réactifs qui répondent rapidement et amicalement aux messages. La maison est facile d' accès grâce aux consignes données par Stéphane Nous avons trouvé une maison propre, fidèle au descriptif, confortable et joliment décorée. Elle est située sur un grand terrain arboré et calme. L' atmosphère est paisible et nous y retournerons sans aucun doute.

Weather was hot when we were there but the property was thankfully cool. Also always shade somewhere to sit out. It was well equipped. As mentioned previously floor upstairs is quite creaky but that didn’t bother us. We ventured out a couple of times on the bikes to explore the nearby coast which was very good. Specially liked the coffee machine and the various pods including decaffeinated. We were disappointed that the village bakery had closed. However, there is an Intermarche just a little further that has a good bread and bakery section. We really enjoyed a quiet few days at Le Petit Pelloquin.

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

Le logement était très bien placé, au cœur de Honfleur et près des restaurants et commerces ! Aussi très bien lors de fortes chaleurs car l’appartement garde très bien le frais :) Petit plus pour le jardin privé qui était très chouette !

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

Bonjour, Nous tenions à vous remercier pour ce séjour. Le logement était très propre, bien décoré, calme et apaisant. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la réactivité et la sympathie de Magda. Enfin, s’il fallait mentionner un petit détail à améliorer, ce serait la possibilité d’avoir Netflix ou un autre service de streaming, ce qui aurait été un petit plus agréable. Mais dans l’ensemble, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un appartement très agréable, bien meublé et situé dans un quartier calme. Merci encore !

Nous avons passé un magnifique week-end en famille dans un très bel appartement, très bien situé, avec une jolie vue. L'annonce et sa description correspondait parfaitement au lieu. La plage et les commerces à 2 pas. Idéal pour les enfants ! Et l'accueil a été parfait ! Un grand merci de toute la famille.

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

Séjour en famille durant 3 nuits, maison très sympathique, tout est propre et nickel. Malheureusement les locataire mss avant nous avaient détérioré la maison, mais les propriétaires ont sut la remettre en état en un temps records. Cadre très sympathique, piscine agréable, cuisine, salon, salle à manger spacieux, nous étions 14 adultes et aucun problème. De même pour les couchages, nous étions tous à l’aise sans être les uns sur les autres. Point important pour des enfants, une fois le portail électrique fermé, aucun risque qu’ils sortent de la propriété. Merci pour le séjour; je recommande !

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the Normandy area. It was perfect for our group of 9—spacious, stylishly decorated, and incredibly well-equipped. The house is located in a charming Norman village not far from Bayeux and a 15 min walk from Omaha Beach, which made it a fantastic base for exploring the region. From there, we were able to visit several other beautiful towns, including Caen, Honfleur, and Étretat. The location truly allowed us to enjoy both the history and natural beauty of Normandy. The amenities were excellent: we especially loved the peaceful patio, the available bikes, and the overall cozy yet elegant feel of the home. While you do need a car to get around, the property has enough space to comfortably park two vehicles. It was a truly memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Normandy!

Nous avons séjourné le temps d'un week-end entre amis (12 personnes) à la Villa Boubou ou Philippe nous a accueilli chaleureusement et y avons passé des excellents moments. Passionné par les véhicules Américains nous avons pu échanger sur le sujet, un bon moment de partage. La chatte gardienne des lieux😉😄, est adorable et n'a pas manqué de nous accueillir et passer des moments avec nous. Équipements au Top. La Villa Boubou est une bonne alternative et bien située pour visiter musées et plages du débarquement. Petit plus, une boulangerie située à 50 mètre et un super U avec son drive et essence a 500 mètres. Nous recommandons vivement la Villa Boubou et ses hôtes Karine & Plilippe. Laurence et Christophe

We voelde ons direct welkom in dit typische Franse verblijf, overal was aangedacht van een Haard die klaar stond om te ontsteken tot een gedekte tafel met een heerlijke chocolade taart! Naast elk bed stond een flesje water met een Madeleine voor de nachtelijke trek. Wel hangen er door heel het huis briefjes met instructies, maar wanneer iemand gewoon normen en waarde kent zijn de reglementen vrij logisch. Misschien een tip om deze regels te bundelen en op de gedekte eettafel te presenteren zodat alles gelijk duidelijk is ipv door heel het huis. Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in dit pittoreske Franse huis.

La maison proposé par Jules était incroyable avec une vue magnifique à quelques kilomètres de la plage… tout était parfait jusqu’à l histoire des lieux et des environs que son papa raconte si bien.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

An absolute gem located less than a 2 minute walk from the historic Omaha beach. A perfect blend of modern home with traditional beach house great for large families. The hosts are incredibly nice and wonderfully easy to work with. A shining recommendation for anyone considering staying here!

We had a wonderful week in this property just outside of the town of Deauville. The house is located in a quiet suburban area with a Carrefour just a couple of minutes walk down the street which was very convenient. The large walled garden was great for the kids and the table tennis table, sun loungers, outdoor eating area, and table football all proved popular! The house itself is absolutely stunning - a beautiful traditional style timber framed building. The interior has a lot of exposed wood beams and very high quality furnishings. Everything that we needed was provided and we were very comfortable during our stay. The local town of Deauville has plenty going on including shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a pretty place with a harbour and some canals - lovely to be by the water. Between the house and Deauville is a wide sandy beach with stunning views along the coastline from Villers sur Mer to La Havre. Well worth a visit!
