We recently stayed at a delightful lake house in Plattsburgh to celebrate our son’s graduation from CUNY Plattsburgh. Our time there was truly special, as the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful lake views provided the perfect backdrop for our family gathering. The Boathouse was well-equipped with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities that made our time relaxing and enjoyable. The peacefulness of the lake allowed us to disconnect from our busy lives and fully immerse ourselves in this joyous occasion. Overall, our stay was a wonderful blend of celebration and serenity. We are looking forward to returning to this lovely retreat in the future!

Our three-night stay exceeded all of our expectations. For nature lovers such as ourselves, the tranquil, beautiful setting was ideal. We saw various birds right from the cottage, and numerous others in the nearby reserve. The sunsets and morning light inspired us to paint, draw and photograph, to capture a record of this beautiful place. William is a splendid host. He provided us with historical information about the area and his family’s role in settling and living in it. He is a generous and compassionate man, and inspirational in his devotion to the land and its history. A million thanks, William!

We had a wonderful time staying at this cottage! The place is even more beautiful than the photos — clean, well-equipped, warm and perfect for a family weekend. The chalet is spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere. Our host was very welcoming, caring and quick to respond to any questions we had. This was an excellent place to stay on Lake Champlain. The house was kid friendly, which was perfect for our three young kids. They felt right at home. It was an easy walk to the peaceful, quiet beach. We hope to come back again next summer!!

We had a perfect stay at Josee’s lovely cottage. She welcomed us personally and was very responsive. Her home is beautifully maintained and the property id gorgeous. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Owls Head during a very heavy snow fall weekend in February. We enjoyed cross country skiiing at the fishing and gaming club for $10US per adult per day. We ventured out to Sugarbush cabin and restaurant for a trail walk, that was accessible and enjoyable for us and our 2.5 year old. Snow plows cleared the road leading to the cabin and shovels were available to manage the buildup. The property manager Dana was very attentive and responsive to all questions and was sure to check in during the storm. The cottage had all necessary amenities, including heat throughout, good wifi, coffee making equipment and an electric stove. Hot water for the shower and dishes was ample and the tap water was delicious for drinking. Will definitely come back for another winter getaway.

My partner and I were looking for a little getaway spot to relax and Gordon and Louis’ place was above and beyond what we were looking for. The large fully fenced backyard is even more beautiful than in the pictures and my dog thoroughly enjoyed it. The airbnb itself was like a hotel - it had everything we needed and more. We initially planned to explore Montreal during this trip but we ended up spending more time in Point Claire and it was really lovely! Louis and Gordon are top tier hosts and I would highly recommend this airbnb.

a very nice and quiet place for me and my friends to relax! the river was sooo beautiful townake up to in the morning and we all made some s'mores by the campfire! right next to a nice restaurant and a Stewart's so we could even get everything we needed for the fire! would come back here again and thanks for letting us stay!

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

We definitely had a great experience. The place is exactly like the photos, super clean and organized. Qasem was super sweet and easy to communicate with. I will be back coming back as soon as possible.

I had a wonderful stay at Beth’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. It felt like a true home away from home. Beth was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful with all the little touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and conveniently located. We loved our stay. Host was friendly and told us about the property when we arrived. Lake placid was around the corner with plenty of restaurants, shops and hikes. Their land is beautiful with a pond and our dog loved to roam. The cabin was lovely. The owner crafted it himself and well. We can tell it he worked hard on it and it was built extremely well done for the space. We would come back again in the future. Thank you for allow us to experience your space :)

I was coming into the Adirondacks to do some backpacking. We were going to be arriving late and starting the trip early in morning, so we just needed a place to crash for the night and sort some gear in the morning while we had breakfast. This was a perfect spot and exactly what we needed, though it would have been tempting to relax there for a few days.

This place was a real gem. Beautiful on the outside and the inside. Super convenient to Clarkson and Potsdam Universities, and would be a short ride to St. Lawrence as well. Just outside of town in Potsdam. Bed was super comfortable, appliances worked well, and shower and bathroom were great as well. It was a little chilly so we were disappointed to not be able to use the balcony porch. Perfect for a couple and great for a family of 3. Would have loved to stay at this place even longer!

The cabin was just as described, kind of made us want to be there in the winter it was so cozy. Vaulted ceilings and windows allowed us to appreciate the surrounding beauty of the Adirondacks. It was the perfect distance from Plattsburgh to enjoy our daughter’s graduation.

We had a great stay overall! The location is peaceful and remote—perfect for a quiet getaway in the Adirondacks. Just a heads-up: cell service is very limited in the area, so make sure to set your GPS directions before you arrive. The house itself was in good order and matched the listing—clutter-free and comfortable. While it could have used a deeper clean, it was tidy and functional and accurate to the listing. The beds were especially excellent—super comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. Would recommend for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. The host Daniel is excellent and a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and proactive, and it's clear he takes pride in his AirBnB business.

Jon and Tracie’s cabin is the perfect lil spot if you want to get away and not think for a few days. The cabin is perfect and private. Whiteface mountain is down the road and maybe the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. 11/10 would highly recommend. Jon and Tracie are responsive and on point with any questions too.

We spent two nights during the shoulder season of fall/winter. I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely this place is for the price. We immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. Their hospitality and property is not something to be missed! I will absolutely be back to enjoy the airbnb in different seasons! One thing to note is if you’re tall the shower and bed are a little tight. Not a big deal but worth a mention. 10/10 stay.
