Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Le Chenit

I consider myself lucky to have discovered this quiet oasis in the vineyards of Vallamand. Naomi and Romain were there when I needed them and left enough privacy, even though they live in the same house. The interaction was very pleasant. The studio is a perfect place for singles with a need for rest as well as for couples to experience a change of scenery and enjoy the most beautiful view of Lake Murten and the vineyard landscape. The garden seating area is like another world, the furnishings are simple, but very atmospheric. A Denner is easily accessible nearby via a walk. I would love to come back another time, because I feel reborn after the stay. Thank you so much Naomi and Romain for the wonderful stay!

Private getaway on the shore of Lake Geneva outside Lausanne

I spent three peaceful nights here and couldn’t have asked for more. The house is cozy and beautifully located with mountain views and a stunning terrace complete with a fireplace — perfect for unwinding. Janette was a warm and generous host, taking the time to show me around the property and the region, with helpful recommendations and maps. The house is easily accessible by car and ideal for both short and longer stays. note that it seemed like the nearby town doesn’t have much in terms of shops or restaurants, so having a car makes all the difference. Highly recommend!

Mathilde and Jordane were extremely friendly and very pleasant hosts. The communication with Mathilde was very quick and straightforward. Mathilde and Jordane had great tips for the area. The lodge is very well equipped, has a great terrace and views of the Risoux. We were on holiday with the bikes, from the lodge you can reach so many great excursion destinations/hiking trails. Merci, we will vacation near Risoux again!

A nest as pretty as it is comfortable. We had a perfect stay in this beautifully decorated place with this beautiful view and such a friendly host, we will definitely come back to recharge here. Thanks for everything 😊

The cottage is large, very clean, nothing was missing in the kitchen. We were 5 adults and 4 children, the game room made us happy. We spent 5 wonderful days in Foncine-les-Hauts. The view from the chalet is breathtaking.

A very nice studio in a quiet, private environment. Beautiful hiking opportunities in the area with great views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. Sandra is a great host. Furnished and helpful. You feel right at home.

We had a great time at Julie's house, very responsive hostess and available for our stay! We were lucky enough to pick up and taste eggs from Julie's chickens, a treat:) The accommodation is ideal for 2, very well equipped and nicely furnished with vintage furniture. It is close to lots of hikes (Chapelle des Bois 15 minutes by car, hike at the foot of the accommodation...) . It is extremely clean, the bed is comfortable and the TV/wifi works perfectly with Netflix in addition to free access. If it was necessary to find one small downside, note that the small private terrace does not overlook the most beautiful side of the house but it is a detail! We'll be back with pleasure, thank you Julie for your welcome!

Emmanuelle is very friendly, the studio is very cute, I liked it a lot, the bedding is super comfortable... I recommend it The environment is very nice. We had some good walks... Very good rental

Carine is a perfect host: warm, responsive and generous. She does everything to make you feel at home. The accommodation, meanwhile, is impeccably clean, very well arranged and particularly quiet. We loved discovering the area, and this accommodation greatly contributed to the quality of our stay. I recommend it without hesitation!

A perfect stay. The apartment is perfectly located, with a magnificent view of the lake and close to many restaurants (we highly recommend the Peruvian restaurant Terrenal). The apartment is perfectly equipped, the beds are very comfortable. The parking is just around the corner. Highly recommended

Had a wonderful stay at Thierry’s place. They greeted us in person at check in and showed us around. It was spacious and had everything we needed for our toddler including crib, high chair. They even let us know in advance that we could check out a little later than 11 am which was highly appreciated especially with a toddler. They were wonderful and extremely thoughtful hosts. Would highly recommend!!
