Vacation rentals with lake access in Lay Lake

Had a great time with family in from of of town. Quiet lagoon area. Great for fishing and kayaking and letting the kids swim in the lake. House is in a nice private neighborhood but near stores and restaurants. Would stay again.

We had a great time, it’s a very nice place to stay. This house is out of the way, in a canal on the lake. Doesn’t take a lot of time by boat to get back to the main lake. Very quiet and peaceful location on the end of the road. The host was very clean and we had no issues the entire trip. The host very helpful and caring. I will be back to stay! Thank you!

This is the second time we have stayed in this home and everything was perfect, once again!

We were in town for a wedding so there was not much time to enjoy the extras of the house. We did make use of the movie room and loved the massive couch. It’s rare for a family six to all easily recline and enjoy a movie together! I think the kids did play pool and ping pong between events when they could. It was definitely a lovely view and a nice touch with the strung cafe lights outside. I do want to say ALL of the beds were great. I hate showing up to a place and finding a fifteen year old squeaky spring mattress. This place was great and everyone slept well. The place was clean and check out was super simple. I’m used to rentals that make you feel like the cleaning crew at the end of your stay. That was not the case here. Just a few simple steps and you were good to leave. Which was really nice. If we had a reason to be in the area, I would definitely rent again.

I wanted to stay in this place from the moment I saw it on your website. It was a beautiful home with very peaceful surroundings. That’s exactly what I wanted. It’s located very close to nice restaurants and stores if you need to shop and eat out. My 89 year old had no trouble getting to the water on her walker. If I’m able to come again next year, I sure hope I can get this same house. Simon was very helpful from our first contact. He checked on us from time to time and was super nice host.

The vacation was beautiful. We loved just hanging out on the dock and kayaking up and down the lake. We enjoyed fishing and playing pool. We loved it so much that we spent the majority at the house hanging out on the dock. Laura was friendly, prompt in responses, and helpful.

Awesome place and even better in person than the pictures. It was perfect for our family. (Couple with 3 and 5 year old) House is basically brand new, has everything you need and everything is very clean! My kids jumped off the dock for hours and we loved every second - 5 year old cried her eyes out when we had to leave. Awesome views from the house and dock. Hosts provided very detailed info for everything you could think of. We hope to be back soon!

Peaceful and relaxing place to celebrate our daughters graduation from the University of Alabama!

This was a work related stay as I was working on the nearby Logan Martin Dam. This was a great location, very close to the dam. The porch and exterior areas near the lake were beautiful. Space was ample, I'd say the only downside is no thermostat for the lower level where the apartment is located.. All said, I am going back again in a few weeks and I am looking forward to the stay.

We enjoyed staying there. We were very close to the ballpark and other amenities. Very clean and well taken care of.

Owner very responsive and told us everything we needed to know. Beautiful complex on a beautiful lake. Convenient right next to a marina. highly recommend. We will be returning to this nice condo.

Fantastic lake condo at Lake Martin! We were visiting the area for a bass fishing tournament and Bob, the host, was very responsive and helpful! The property was very clean and having access to the boat slip, the pools, and the boat ramp were super convenient!

Sadies's place was really nice and clean. Owner very responsive and friendly.

I loved this place! Very cozy and had everything we could possibly need! The shower was HUGE and I loved all the little “extras”. Very good communication!

Jimmy’s place was exactly as described and exactly what I wanted. Clean, convenient, quiet, and a great price. I attended a conference nearby and knew I wouldn’t be spending much time in my lodgings. Why spend twice as much for a hotel room? At Jimmy’s, I felt comfortable entering at any time of day/night and I enjoyed a dedicated private bathroom. I heard Jimmy only one time in three evenings and was very glad to meet him in person on my last night. I would gladly stay with Jimmy again!

Margret was so friendly and checked on us during our stay I love the decor house felt very comfortable very peaceful definitely will book every time I’m in town!

We went to AL for a weekend getaway that what much needed! We checked in late Friday night but Kelly checked in to make sure we got in okay and to see if we had any questions! He also checked in on Saturday morning to see how we were doing! Communication was at best! Our time at the cabin was short yet sweet! We had all we needed and enjoyed that lake view! We had a nice time. We were unclear about the trash bags issues but Rachel explained their policy. It would have been helpful to have known that earlier so we could have brought some with us. One trash bag for the whole week just did not work.

This was our first Airbnb stay as a family. We were looking for a somewhat remote location with lakefront access. This place fits that description! We really enjoyed the screened-in patio space. It gave the property an added feature that allowed us to fully enjoy the nice lake view. It rained on & off during our weekend trip and this space allowed us to be comfortable outdoors while the weather passed through. The property was well-organized. The appliances were modern and worked perfectly. The check-in & check-out process were both easy and concise. We are a pretty tall family, so the shower wasn't the best fit & it did not drain well during our stay. But overall, it wasn't that big of an issue for us. Grayson was a great communicator about our trip and we ended up making memories that will last forever. The dock area was a really nice feature too! If you're looking for a nice safe spot on Logan Martin Lake, I would recommend this as a place you should definitely consider.

This was my second stay at The Cottage, and it was just as enjoyable as my first. Everything was as I expected, clean and well organized for my stay. I especially enjoyed the comfy chair in the living room for relaxation after a busy day. The bed was also very comfortable and provided the rest I needed each evening. I also enjoyed the sounds and sights of a working farm when outside. (They were inaudible when inside the home.) The miniature/baby goats feeding outside of an evening were adorable. I also stopped in town and picked up some treats for Lu Lu the family pup as well as her sidekicks the Siamese and the gray cat. I enjoyed animals very much as it reminded me of the animals I have at home. Steve and his family were very hospitable, and I enjoyed visiting with them also. They are very friendly and gracious folks. Steve's Cottage will by my first pick the next time I am in the Talladega area. It's a home away from home and a true blessed experience.

This was a very beautiful and cozy lake house. The area was so nice. Everyone is friendly. We came to town for the Jack Link’s 500 at the Talladega Superspeedway. It was a 30 minute drive to the speedway. So it’s a great place to stay if you’re in town for a race. We would definitely stay here again.

One of a kind stay! It is probably the most relaxing place I have stayed in a long time! The property is beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of things to cook with.

This was our first AirBNB stay in over 10 years! It was GREAT! April was proactive in letting us know how to check in and was responsive when I texted with a couple of questions. It was like having a local friend to touch base with! The house is not new but it was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN, fresh and updated. She provided clear communication in a binder for checkin and check out instructions. Local attractions and eateries. She also provided little touches that made you feel welcome, such as a note and goody basket welcoming us, little soaps in the bathroom, plenty of towels, laundry and dishwashing soap. All was a plus and much appreciated! Unfortunantely, we could not enjoy the kayaks as it had been raining and the creek was too high, but the instructions and expectations for their use were very clear. We will utilize them on our next trip! Thank you for making this part of our trip stress-free!

Nice and quiet place to stay. We never saw any neighbors but we were gone a lot. It was easy to find and would recommend others to stay there.
