Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lavaldens

My friends and I stayed at Stéphane's for 3 days. Its house is located in the heart of a small peaceful French village, next to an old church. It's really lovely! It can accommodate up to 20 people and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. We really enjoyed the open space in front of the door where we could set up tables, barbecue and play badminton on the grass. That's really amazing. There's also a nice living room where you can listen to music. As for the region, it offers many very pleasant hikes nearby, with many lakes, streams and waterfalls in the mountains. I highly recommend booking this cottage for your next vacation.

The stay at Jocelyne's guest house was perfect. The garden right in front of the door, that has the size of a little park and the mountains in the background is simply gorgeous. Beautiful region for hiking and Jocelyne was a super friendly host, who helped with recommendations, if needed.

Very friendly host and always available. The accommodation perfectly matches the photos, even exceeds them! Although located near the road, the noise remains very discreet. The decor is neat, the furniture well chosen, and the bedding is very comfortable. The lake is close by, as is a convenient bakery for breakfasts. A big thank you to Hugo for this beautiful stay!

Me, my brother and our best friend Cat stayed at Virginie's countryside home for a ski weekend at Alp d'Huez, and we absolutely loved it! It was far enough away from mountain that it offered total peace and tranquillity in a small village close to the Col D'Ornon Ski Station, but close enough for a short ride to Alp d'Huez. The pellet stove kept us warm while we relaxed after a long day of skiing, and the house had a nice and cozy feel to it! We woke up in the morning to absolute silence, just the sounds of birds singing. Exactly what we were looking for in a ski weekend getaway. We enjoyed the fact to bring our own sheets and do the majority of the cleaning ourselves. I feel like that's how more places should be. Virginie was very responsive and flexible, and we'd definitely stay there again on our next ski weekend!

Very nice house at the end of the village. No through traffic. You have to walk a few meters to the house, but it is very quiet. Marc is very helpful and friendly.

We had a great time! The accommodation is very clean, quiet and perfectly equipped. We particularly enjoyed the small touches like coffee, tea and herbal tea available. The three terraces offer pleasant spaces to relax at different times of the day. The host is friendly, available and responsive. The neighborhood is peaceful, easy to access, and there is parking nearby. A great place that we recommend without hesitation!

we were very warmly welcomed by Karin and felt very much at home in this cottage that is just a luxury mountain hut: lovingly finished with lots of wood and natural stone. Super cozy that the cats and neighborhood dog came to cuddle! We had a nice chat with Karin and she and Ptor are really sweet and welcoming people. Thank you!

The apartment is the perfect place to stay for a few days in Grenoble. Close to public transportation, accessibility to the place and other services is more than acceptable. Hosts were very respectful, concerned with comfort and responsive. They take great care of visitors, which makes the trip very comfortable. We would highly recommend this apartment!

Our stay went very well, the whole apartment was impeccable and the keys were easy to find. The apartment is very nice and very functional, right in the city center of La Mûre with many shops nearby and countless hiking trails in the area. Cedric is proactive and gave us the necessary information at the right time. I would highly recommend it!

I spent three nights there. The accommodation is set back from the street. It's very quiet. The apartment is in an old building so it stays cool in summer. Pat recommended a nearby restaurant in a very nice setting. There is a bakery, supermarket, pharmacy about 100 meters away.

A very special place to stay. The apartment is smaller than expected, but very nice for a few nights. However, we did not want to spend a whole vacation here, because it is very small, dark due to the small skylights and will certainly be stuffy in the summer. Fans are already ready. There is a lot of space on the castle grounds, but exactly one bench on which you can sit outside. Please note: there are three buildings, two courtyards, several corridors and 100 stairs that you have to walk from the car to the small apartment!! There is no elevator. Each piece of luggage must be carried. But a nice experience!!

Julien and Fanny hosted us well and responded to our request. Comfortable apartment (good bedding) clean and functional in a quiet and wooded neighborhood. Despite the outside heat, good insulation allowed us not to be too bothered.

Well-equipped accommodation, very nice garden. 10 minute drive to Bourg d'Oisans, a village more lively in the evening than Allemond where the studio is located. Easy communication with Quentin, quick and efficient response.

Clean and cozy home. Check-in is easy independently and the hosts were very flexible on check-in and check-out, thank you. Hiking on the lakes (Achard, Robert, etc.) offers beautiful scenery. For travelers, in the off-season, plan food before arriving for safety because a large part of the shops are closed during this period.

A small but functional space. A responsive host full of good advice is always ready to be of service. The resort is beautiful with many shops and services nearby. Big thanks for the stay.
