Outside, enjoy a hot tub while listening to the sound of the river. There’s also a fire pit, grill, terrace, and the chance to go fishing right by the river. *Sauna included in the price. *Hot tub available for additional fee of 50€.

Historical farmer's house in nature

Kārkliņi was built in 1892 Kārkliņi were wealthy farmers who owned a horse stable, as well as cows, pigs and other animals as they were an integral part of the farm at the time! In 1979 the house was bought from Kārkliņi by my grandmother Zigrīda Stungure who was once a brilliant actress at the Daile Theater, She and her husband Jānis used the house as a summer's residence In 2013 I took over Kārkliņi. For the past 10 years, I have returned the house to its original form as it was in 1920

Black House is a detached cottage available for for max 4 guests (incl. infant), total area 24m2. It has 1 remote bedroom, 1 open bedroom, small kitchen area, WC & Shower, terrace, a built-in sauna area. We offer boat and paddle board rent, and you can also apply for individual tour guide. The outside area has a fireplace and space for tents in case you would like to spend a night in one-million star hotel. Walk to the beach ~2km long through forest road. Pet friendly place.

You can enjoy view from hot tub (extra charge) or sit quietly outside and enjoy sounds of nature- leaves rustling, wind whistling, birds singing, frogs songs , insects humming or the rustle of animals. Please note that as we are located in the forest, the access road may be affected by weather conditions, but it is always passable
