I visited with my husband and daughter and all 3 of us agree that this is one of our favorite all time places. There was a perfect balance of being in nature and comfort. The architecture and natural surroundings are one of a kind. There is so much to explore in the area and the only problem was that we both wanted to stay on the property and explore. I also cannot say enough about how excellent the restaurant was. The food was truly outstanding, one of us is a vegan and it was not problem, the menu changed daily which was incredible and we were able to try different dishes. The care that goes into everything from the thoughtful design, the care and reverence for the environment and every single person that works at Punta Pajaros is incredible and we really appreciated it. Thank you for sharing your special spot with us. We feel so lucky to have visited and are already plotting a return.

From the moment we got there, we were captivated by the lush trees forming a natural canopy overhead, the cheerful songs of birds, and the rich tapestry of colorful plants and flowers that frame every view. The serenity we felt throughout the week was unmatched—an oasis of peace that lingers in your memory. The pool is incredible, so don’t forget your swimsuit. It might be helpful to make a grocery run before heading up, since the nearest shops aren’t within walking distance. Believe me, once you're nestled in, you won’t want to leave. We already miss this hidden paradise! We also loved the thoughtful local recommendations from the host—Linda’s was a standout and worth every penny. This place is more than a destination. It’s an experience.

This was one of the BEST stays I've had. Paola was very accommodating, communicative, friendly, and informative. We had a smooth check in and check out. The guest home itself was absolutely beautiful, it had everything we needed, and it is stunning in person. I highly recommend staying here and I may be back!

Nice home me and my husband enjoyed our stay, our host Jeanne is very friendly and responsive , shared a lot of great nearby markets and access to uber. Easy and quick access to vidigal beach, we enjoyed this beach the most it’s quieter and away from the busy beaches. We would definitely return to stay at this gem 💟

The place was beautiful. I stayed here with my husband and our dog, and it was perfect for us three. I would have appreciated more transparency on the listing with pet fees. I don’t mind paying pet fees, but I wasn’t aware of them until AFTER I booked the reservation. Other than that small thing, our stay was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay.

Trisha’s place was a great little find! Loved the pool and jacuzzi, as well as the fire pit at night. It was clean and sophisticated, and Trisha communicated with us well.

This was our sixth stay at one of Cheryl’s river houses, and it was just as wonderful as always! Peaceful mornings on the back porch, watching the wildlife, were the perfect escape. My girls had a blast fishing, and I was able to hop on a Zoom meeting with no Wi-Fi issues at all. We never miss a stop at Jo Momma’s—great burgers and under 10 minutes away. Dinner at TJ’s @ The Old Forge in Bandera was delicious (the white gravy is a must!), and Out of the Way Café remains a favorite. Their breakfasts are amazing, and I’m hooked on the chicken tenders and sandwich. Can’t wait for visit #7!

If you're looking for a peaceful and unique getaway, this is definitely it! It was amazing to see the stars again after living in the city for too long. We loved the nearby Johnson City, it had great food options and we even preferred it to the larger Marble Falls and Fredericksburg. Johnson City Coffee should NOT be missed! The wildlife was fun to see and the wildflowers were really putting on a show. The home had everything we needed for our weekend. The rooftop tub was our favorite! Our only request would be an umbrella for shade when taking an afternoon dip to cool down.

The airbnb was cozy, clean, pretty and view was great. Only issue was the really steep driveway. You could tell a lot of cars burned rubber trying to get out of driveway vs hitting the solid rocks that blocked going down the hill. Parked across the street in empty lot to not have to fight with driveway.

Would highly recommend staying here. The views are amazing and the host is extremely friendly. Short drive to restaurants and stores. The drive up to the house are steep and narrow roads. Would recommend a car with decent clearance. First time driving up I would get there during the day to get comfortable driving up. The drive is well worth the views and the private pool.

We enjoyed the privacy, sounds of nature, peace, and quiet. There is a cabin being built next to it, but it is still in progress. We were happy having area to ourselves. I love the large windows in the cabin and being surrounded by trees everywhere. It was so refreshing. The cabin is also very clean and love the decor. Keep in mind there is no oven, and it is a mini fridge, so don't over pack on fridge/freezer food. The cabin faces the sunset and is shaded very nicely. The goats, pigs, donkeys, and chickens were a short walk, but you didn't see from cabin. Loved the animals! I loved watching the cows and horses from a distance and hearing some of the farm sounds. Overall, this is just what we needed to escape from the city and to reset.

Place was Amazing! Very close to town, making driving to Restaurants/Exploring really nice and easy. Hot tub was nice and private made the evening very enjoyable. Very nice and cozy atmosphere at night as well.

Amazed by how beautiful this place is. Looks just like the pictures. Is so easy to access and the views are phenomenal. We went on a ride with the bike around the neighborhood. Also, We went to a local café to grab some breakfast and it was phenomenal too. They have activities for you to do as well . We rode the kayak early in the morning and did a little bit of paddle boarding as well. But i wont like to keep spoiling everything You should go try this place your self. 💓

The photos of this paradise are already beautiful, but the experience of being there is impossible to explain in words! Everything was very thoughtful, every corner and detail is absurdly beautiful and cozy. Host Sthefania is very well organized and takes great care to make all information clear to guests. A true dream that everyone should experience!!

This gorgeous, well thought out cabin is an oasis. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a girls' outing or a solo trip to disconnect from the world. Comfortable, beautiful, relaxing. Need to come back in the Fall.

You can feel the heart and dedication behind this space. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs before, but this one made it straight to the top of our list for future getaways. This was a great location for a romantic getaway. Loved the peaceful setting. We enjoyed some local restaurants and went for a hike. Hot tub was great - loved being able to watch the sun set at night while soaking away the day.

This place was so lovely! Very clean and comfy. My boyfriend & I only stayed a night for a quick trip to Sanibel, but I would definitely stay here again if I come back down this way. I liked that it was private and fenced off from the main house, so it didn’t feel like we were intruding into someone’s backyard. The yard itself was also lovely, and included the hammock and hot tub as listed. Andres was very kind and had great communication. Totally recommend! :)

The cabin is beautiful and set in a great location. It’s very clean and well supplied. Very detailed instructions were available. If I had a complaint it would be the lock box for the key, it took about 15 minutes to get it open and when we left we were unable to lock it at all. Otherwise a perfect getaway.

The cabin is in a really privileged spot with a full view of the Soldiers and very beautiful surroundings. The outside is the cherry on top, with options for bonfires and great outdoor moments. The only complaint is that the kitchen is very small, and since there are no restaurants nearby and we have to cook all meals, I think the space would be better if it were a little bigger. In addition, a sideboard or furniture to arrange personal items would also be good, since we have to leave the suitcases and all belongings on the bedroom floor. In addition, great communication with the host and the place itself is amazing. It is important to stress the importance of going with a 4x4 car or at least a higher vehicle, because the road there is really a challenge.
