Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). There is no telephone network in the house, which makes the stay more special, but it does have Wi-Fi. Ideal for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and city stress. In the heart of the Serra de S.Mamede Natural Park, it is surrounded by a wide variety of native flora, such as Kills, Olive Trees, Carvalhos or fruit trees. Crossed by the Sever River and a stream that invites refreshing baths for its numerous waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused water tanks.

Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
