Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Las Catalinas

This is our second time at Nick's place and it was everything we remembered. You can walk out the back patio and in 100 feet, go right into the ocean, with great surfing right there. Short walk to Tamarindo for restaurants and shopping, but secluded enough for peace and quiet. Several small maintenance issues popped up during the 10 days, but Nick responded in 15 minutes each time and the problems were resolved in an hour or two. Great host, great location, and great communication. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent place to stay if traveling to the Potrero/ Flamingo area! The property grounds and rental unit are beautiful; the pictures are exactly what you get upon arrival! I loved drinking coffee outside in the mornings and watching the monkeys play in the trees! Communication with the host and family was great, and they left a binder full of recommendations for restaurants, beaches, excursions, and more! I look forward to staying at the rental again in the future!

The place is very close to beautiful beaches, no unnecessary noise, accommodation as advertised on the page, clean, well equipped, very good service from Andrés for all the concerns we had, the facilities are very clean and safe. I would definitely come back in the future. It is advisable to have a high vehicle for these rainy dates, to be able to move within the area, since the entrance street is unpaved

The stay was peaceful and accurate to the description, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would love to visit again! The apartment complex was very well decorated and has all necessary amenities, the host was kind and understanding.

Great AC, 2 ample bathrooms, nice space. Towels could use replacement. The bed, bedding and sofa could use some upgrades, as they are not the most comfortable. Lovely balcony area, and lots of security measures made us feel safe.

Check-in instructions were sent well ahead of time and Jennifer provided perfect directions to the home. My teen kids and I enjoyed the full open space in this home, with the communal living room and main balcony being amazing to make family memories. All the great restaurants, shops, and beaches are within walking distance of the home, while the home remained very peaceful. Definitely worth the money spent for our forever memories. Thank you!!!

Lovely view from the balcony to the sea. Great kitchen with all you need to feed yourself. Be careful turning from the road up the hill. There is a grate with pointy corners. The pool is clean and private. We’d be happy to stay again. The nearest town is Potrero, with a great gelato shop. Find the large grocery store a little out of the center of town. Excellent bakery in a small shopping center with a fish store. Beach access with parking, small daily charge. Tiffany responded quickly to every request both before and during our stay. Very helpful in making arrangements to get around. You need a car or golf cart.

The Casa Vera Vista was a beautiful villa on the cliff side over looking the bay with the most beautiful sunsets. The villa was close to the beach and great restaurants plus a good starting point for many excursions. The concierge team was always there when we needed them throughout the entire trip as well as with planning prior to arriving. The house was very clean, decorated very tastefully and had comfortable beds. The daily cleaning service was very helpful with three kiddos in tow. We had two dinners and breakfast with the recommended chefs and they exceeded our expectations, with both delicious food and friendly company. Our driver Raudy was always on time, professional and was very helpful in getting around with our busy itinerary. We definitely did a lot on our trip (zip lining, deep sea fishing, ATVs, snorkeling, rainforest, waterfalls, hot springs etc) and staying at the villa with the concierge service made it that much more special. Beautiful house in the heart of Tamarindo. We spent 4 nights at Arbel's and enjoyed every minute of it. The house and kitchen were all stocked with what we needed for making meals. It's only a short walk to all the restaurants and beach, so making a quick trip back to the house for lunch or in case you left something is easy.

Staying at Pastora’s place was an absolute dream — hands down the most gorgeous Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The space is a perfect example of indoor-outdoor living, designed with so much intention, beauty, and connection to nature. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle and being surrounded by lush greenery was truly magical. Yes, there are a few bugs here and there, but that’s to be expected when you’re nestled in the heart of the jungle — and honestly, it just added to the experience. Nothing major, just part of being immersed in such a natural paradise. Pastora was an absolute angel. She offered to make us an authentic Costa Rican breakfast — complimentary! — which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. Both she and her husband went above and beyond to make sure we felt cared for, safe, and supported. Their warmth and hospitality made this stay feel not only relaxing, but genuinely nourishing. I’m so grateful for my time here. It was beautiful, peaceful, and unforgettable. 💗

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect—just a short, scenic walk to the beach, where we felt like we had a little slice of paradise to ourselves. One of the most magical parts? We spotted monkeys in the trees right off our deck—it felt like something out of a nature documentary! The place itself is spotless, modern, and thoughtfully decorated with charming, beachy touches that made it feel both cozy and stylish. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful from the moment we arrived, always available with a smile or a great local tip. And we have to mention the cats! We completely fell in love with them—they added such a sweet, homey vibe to the property. We’re already dreaming about our next trip back. If you’re headed to Costa Rica, this spot is a total gem!

Our stay in Potrero was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Francisco was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Amy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer helpful local recommendations. The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable—truly a home away from home. The pool was nice and refreshing, a wonderful addition that made relaxing after a day of exploring even better. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the sunset experience in Las Catalinas and dining at Sentido Norte. Do yourself a favor and make time for both. The views are breathtaking, and the food and atmosphere at Sentido Norte are top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and well-hosted Costa Rican getaway!

My family of 5 had an amazing time here! Our three boys (16, 13, and 8) loved the house, the pool, and the great vibe here. The house and surroundings are even better than the pictures, which is saying something since the pictures made it look like paradise. Monica was extremely responsive—more so than any host I’ve ever dealt with previously. They have everything you could possibly need for your stay. The area is gorgeous and Playa Grande is a cute town with great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Close to Brasilito and Conchal and local restaurants. Quiet and peaceful little place. Very enjoyable. Would stay here again for sure.

Amazing, and we can’t wait to return! Estevan was such a great communicator and so welcoming. We appreciate the Estefan’s suggestions for beaches, local needs, etc….. Those small gestures go a long way. The house is so beautiful, functional and extremely comfortable. You can hear the nature at this location and it’s very close to everything lovely in the area. It’s quiet yet close to your needs. Incredible & highly recommend.

A wonderful condo in a quieter part of town with peaceful pools and beautiful views from the rooftop. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Great place to stay! We loved the location and there were restaurants. We enjoyed within walking distance that had live music. We were there mostly to dive and the place is 6 minutes from our dive shop. The air conditioning worked well which was important since it was so hot out. Place was very clean and our host was very responsive to any questions. Just make sure to clarify exactly where the location is because it shows differently on the Airbnb app. We would stay again!

This place is fantastic, spotless, well equipped, secure, easy to access and a beautiful ocean view. The beach chairs/umbrella are a great bonus which we used to enjoy Playa Flamingo in comfort David is a generous, responsive host. Thank you for hosting us.

Michelle's place is super cute as described. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated all of the extra pillows. We enjoyed going to the beautiful beaches and it was great to have the beach chairs & cooler for our use. We had the pool all to ourself, which we enjoyed. We really loved the town and all of the fabulous restaurants. Thank you, Michelle!

We loved our stay here! Diana’s home is lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed having all necessary items-including beach gear-and enjoyed the pool after our outings. Diana’s recommendations were fantastic and led us to several memorable sunsets and delicious meals. We would love to return. It’s a wonderful home base for exploring the north coast.

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

Loved staying at Katie & Happy’s place! It was a little walk from downtown Tamarindo, but we loved making the walk and noticed a lot of people utilized the scooters all around or had rented golf carts, which we would have opted for if we brought our kids. They provided beach towels and chairs that we used often and a filtered water pitcher in the fridge so that saved us on purchasing bottled water, which was so helpful. There was a little market close by and several amazing restaurants. The pizza place across the street was the best pizza we’ve ever had and I went to the nearby snack shack for açaí bowls and coffee almost daily. Langosta was a beautiful area to stay in with close private beach access. We were also able to walk the beach to Tamarindo at low tide. We loved this place and location and would definitely stay here again! Thanks Katie & Happy!
