A cozy loft for friends and family to share in the center of Vientiane. Newly furnished apartment. Very safe area, quiet at night, busy in the day.
“OK I’ve traveled in many Airbnb’s over the years and over the world and I have to say this is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Everything was absolutely perfect.the decoration is really like a loft style: modern and fancy. the couch is absolutely so comfortable perfect for reading a book! the attention to detail is great and really thoughtful. They are some nice wooden baskets for a local touch, carpets, decks, modern pictures, giving it a really arty style- as if a home decorator came by. There’s a couple of books (actually very good ones and contemporary: Just the ones I would have on my “to read” list) to pick and read. The kitchen is small but absolutely perfect with everything that you might need -freshly ground coffee to can opener. The place was sparkling clean and the host was so responsive and helpful, providing great adresses. Thank you Lacsana! I wish my appartement back home looked as pretty as yours!”
Have your own little house while being just a few meters away from the mighty Mekong river. It is a peaceful setting with stunning views - just slightly outside of the busier old town. There are bicycles at your disposal and they are a great way to explore this beautiful UNESCO world heritage town.
“My husband and I stayed at Damian's home for nearly a full week and absolutely loved it. The location is great and the house is clean. The home was equipped with a big water jug that you could ask to be refill when empty, as well as plenty of toilet paper, hand towels, etc. There are two bikes provided that you can use to ride around the town. We used these nearly every day as the city is small and getting around by bike is easy. To add to that, Damian left us great tips and recommendations for things to do, where to eat, etc. Damian is also very responsive so if you need anything, he'll help you out quickly! We needed help booking a tuk tuk from the airport, as well as to the bus station, and he did it for us with ease. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return to Damian's home in the future!”
Villa Bankhoy sits on its own small peninsula, at the confluence of two rivers: the majestic Mekong and the small, charming Nam Dong. A French-Lao Colonial house, surrounded by a landscaped garden, private pool and incredible river views.
“What a property! The view is beyond what pictures can capture, it is truly stunning. The villa was a special place to stay in Luang Prabang. Eric and his team were extremely helpful, making sure we were well taken care of (and well-fed!) during our visit. The property is about a 10-15 minute drive to the main strip, but the onsite team is happy to assist by either driving or arranging a tuk tuk. The included breakfast offered by the staff was lovely every morning. The pool and deck, and the wrap around verandas on both levels were super nice. There are not one but two outdoor showers! All in all we loved it. The staff arranged a relaxing boat ride across the river to the botanic gardens — beware: the hike from the garden to the cave was not for the faint of heart. We wish we could have had more time at Eric’s home, 2 nights was simply not enough time to enjoy the pool and view. If we’re ever in Luang Prabang again, there’s simply nowhere else worth staying.”
