A protected swimming area (200 m) made of natural lava rock allows swimming at high tide all year round. A rock (500 m) with a step ladder is the perfect access to the sea for swimmers and divers. Several hiking trails start behind the house. The most beautiful leads directly to the excursion point “Jardin de Cactus”, by the famous island artist César Manrique.

Playa Honda is located in the middle between the capital Arrecife and the tourist resort of Puerto del Carmen and both places can be reached by bike or on foot along the beach promenade..
