Jade was a very helpful host. The area is traditional for the area, lovely nature reserve on back of rear garden for walks. The cottage is just lovely. Warm and cosy. We will definitely return here.

Lovely little home, nice and clean plus very cosy. I loved the decor can tell Samantha has put alot of thought into the place. Great sized rooms with clean comfy beds. Friendly and responsive host, can't really ask for more everything was great. Would absolutely stay again.

Great stay at Andrew’s place, comfy, and exactly as listed. Andrew was friendly and helpful, even told us about a local street festival (we couldn’t go, but appreciated the tip!). Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Lancaster.

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great from the start, and the home itself is absolutely beautiful, cosy, warm, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent too. Sarah, her husband, and Joey were so lovely and welcoming, and their gorgeous dog made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay, would love to come back!

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at the Rabbit Retreat for a gang 12 adults out on a hen do. The home was in a fabulous location - just a 10-15min walk into the centre with plenty of bars and restaurants near by. It was clean and comfortable with everything you may need, including some few extra special touches which were much appreciated! We took 5 cars so parking was a little tight however we did manage with a little help from the shop next door. The pub down stairs also made a great start to each of our nights and every one was so welcoming to us all. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Jacqueline's space strikes a great balance between cozy (I think that would be be cosy in the UK) and carefully curated. I am sorry we only got to stay one night, because I think it would be a great place to relax and unwind. She has provided everything one might need to be comfortable and prepared to cook and eat--including some breakfast items, teas and coffees. The furnishings and art are lovely, highly personal and well coordinated. The whole vibe is still just so much about comfort! Jacqueline gave us some ideas around eating dinner out, and we found some other spots on our own, including a small local market for sparkling water, wine, etc. We could not have asked for a better experience in Colne.

We loved staying in The Old Barn Cottage for our 4 nights/ 3 days of hiking. Lawrence was very responsive to any questions we had. Keep in mind that this is an old barn that has been converted and is still being improved. The living space was so comfortable…huge family room with new couches and dining table, full kitchen and upstairs bathroom and bedrooms. An awesome space to share. The location is unbeatable. You can easily walk from here to Malham Tarn, Gordale Scar and Janet’s Foss and the surrounding villages. Busses stop 1 minute down the road at the Buck Inn for easy transit north or south. People are super friendly. Both The Buck Inn and Lister Arms were great for refreshment. And the Old Barn Tearoom was right there to enjoy lunch or coffee.

I stayed at Bleasdale Apartment as a single guest. The apartment was stunning, well equipped and extremely clean with beautiful decor and furnishings. The appliances were of top quality and easy to use. Very comfortable king size bed. I enjoyed a fabulous full cooked breakfast in the Priory, it was delicious. Very friendly host and staff. I will definitely stay again . Simply perfect. ❤️

This place was amazing extremely spacious and had everything you needed. Was local to everything we needed 5 min walk to the pleasure beach the sandcastle the beach aswell as the south pier arcades. Lots of food places and bars close by aswell. The place was spotless beds were comfortable and clean the whole place we could Not fault at all would definitely recommend and stay again.

I absolutely LOVED this apartment- I was really sad to leave! It was spotlessly clean and tidy, immediately welcoming and cosy, and the perfect home away from home. It had everything one could ever need, and the lovely welcome basket of food and drinks was a thoughtful touch. Tracy was BRILLIANT! Very quick to respond to messages and extremely helpful. I highly recommend her as a host and her beautiful home. The location of the apartment was great: close to the train station, shops, promenade/beach, and plenty of bus links. I will definitely be back! Thanks again for a lovely holiday.

I’ve stayed at this property several times now as I needed to be back near my childhood home. Any issues are always sorted very promptly and it has been literally a home from home for me. Thank you so much. I’ve loved each time I’ve stayed at the Old Red King.

This was a beautiful airbnb just off the main road through Colne. We were all blown away by how nice it was and it's certainly true to it's pictures provided. It was clean and tidy when we arrived, with all the amenities and provisions you would expect of a nice hotel. The host was helpful providing accurate and timely check-in information, as well as providing a folder with lots of useful information about the apartment and local area. It was a short walk from various number of pubs and bars, and has good travel connections for the other towns and villages in the area.

Stunning place, inside was lovely and beautiful surroundings. We booked last minute and as 2 travelling with work so did not get to enjoy the place as much as I wish we could of!

We had the pleasure of staying at John and Dorothy’s wonderful home and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We were shown to a spacious and beautifully presented room with our own private bathroom, along with access to a comfortable and well-kept reception room. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable—we had a fantastic night’s sleep. The following morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring fresh strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, accompanied by yogurt, a generous selection of granola and cereals, as well as toast and a variety of jams. It was a lovely and thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. John was a friendly, attentive, and gracious host throughout. Brian made this weekend escape special. He was so communicative and helpful both ahead of our stay and during. The farmhouse is an authentic Westmorland 18th Century building with many original features. Our room and bathroom were private and cosy. Breakfasts were the perfect start to the day. Tea and coffee was also available in our room. Location was superb with a short walk to the local pub, The Punchbowl, a gastro pub with award winning fayre. Brian and I shared the same birthday (day and year), so we had lots in common. The cats were a great hit, with guaranteed cuddles and no claws. In summary, a great spot for a mini break in the Lake District!

The pod is fantastic, very spacious and well stocked with tea, coffee and snacks. Marco was a great host - he explained how to use all kitchen and bathroom facilities on arrival and even brought a cooked breakfast to the pod in the morning! The location is perfect for walking with some of the best routes in the Dales just around the corner. We drove 15 mins to Settle for dinner as the options in the village itself were fairly limited but there are lots of great restaurants a short drive away. I’d absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a break in Yorkshire.

A Truly Memorable Stay at Artie’s Lodge After reading so many glowing reviews, we arrived with high expectations and we were not disappointed. Our stay was truly wonderful from start to finish. The views over Lake Windermere are simply breathtaking, and the lodge itself is spotless, cosy, and beautifully appointed. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay is thoughtfully provided. Special mention goes to the luxury toiletries, they were absolutely sublime. I’ll definitely be ordering some for my wife! Elizabeth is every bit as exceptional as other guests have described. She’s a warm, attentive host who genuinely goes the extra mile to make sure you feel incredibly well cared for. Breakfast was delicious and set us up perfectly for the day. Thanks to Artie’s Lodge and Elizabeth’s impeccable attention to detail, my wife and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary in a way we’ll always remember with great fondness. We wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend to others

Well,what can I say ? I had a wonderful time staying with Karen and Phil.They were so friendly and helpful.The house was beautiful and the bedroom was extremely comfortable,it was stocked with many items to make a stay even more special.The breakfast was excellent and all in all it was a fabulous place to stay,thank you very much Karen and Phil,I hope to come and stay another time.

Brenda is very friendly and hospitable. Staying at hers is almost like visiting a friend, possibly the true essence of Airbnb and old school B&Bs when people opened the doors to their home to strangers and made them feel welcome. Brenda gave me clear instructions to reach the property, and she was there to welcome me when I arrived. She attentively prepared me a tasty and filling breakfast every morning of my stay. Brenda also helped me with precious tips for local walks and exploration. The property has the charm and warmth of a old family home, it’s not pristine or spotless but very functional, comfortable and cosy. Thank you for having me! Giovanni

Stayed 4 days in Paul’s lovely cottage, just a short walk from Hawkshead village. The accommodations were as expected and Paul could not have been a more gracious host. He has a wealth of local knowledge and directed us on some beautiful walks. Breakfasts were fantastic! Would absolutely return in a heartbeat.
