Quirky Barn Experience, Fully Insulated and warm

JaneRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Thanks Judy! we loved this place. it was so good to be away from the direct bustle of the Queenstown downtown. We were prompted to explore the local area up to Coronet Peak, Ayrburn and Arrowtown it gave us the most pleasant stay in nature. The barn is such good value and and as quintessential kiwi family gathering in Queenstown for a 80th staying at the barn was proclaimed the best accom and a great evening in beautiful weather at the barn having dinner together. Judy it was better than we could have imagined. Mum proclaimed we didn't need a lunch on the Earnslaw as she had the best family pre birthday night. Many thanks Judy. we will be back.

Ann’s property was peaceful, clean and charming. She was also very hospitable and made us feel right at home from the get go. She gave us great recommendations for local activities, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The check in process was seamless and communication couldn’t be faulted. The hot tub was a particular treat and gave us a little slice of luxury! We would highly recommend staying at Ann’s property and will no doubt return when we return to the area.

Loved my stay here and am only not staying longer because it was already booked! Clear instructions on how to get in, really easy to find, responsive and friendly host. Private & peaceful setting with brilliant views, 5 mins drive to frankton and shops, 10 mins to central Queenstown. It was perfect and will be looking to stay here again next time I am in the area. All the little extras go a long way too, tea, coffee, milk, shampoo, conditioner, soap, dressing gowns, blankets. All make it feel more homely and comfortable. ❤️

Sun-filled, mountain views

AdamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our time in Karina’s place, it was so lovely and we can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s described as a tiny home, but the living area and kitchen feel plenty spacious for a couple. The kitchen was really well equipped for a tiny home, with a proper oven and a full fridge freezer. Very comfy bed, and the loft was easy to get in and out of. I’m 6ft3 and it was absolutely fine. We were also nice and warm at night despite it being cold outside. The bathroom had everything we needed and the shower was great. The house having a washer/dryer was an enormous plus. So helpful to have while travelling around NZ. Nowhere else we stayed had one! We loved making a fire in the fire pit, and enjoyed a few glasses of local wine while stargazing. The house is a short walk to Mrs Woolly’s, which has a lovely cafe for lunch/coffees, as well as a small convenience store stocked with all the essentials. House felt very private despite being a short walk from town and the lake. 10/10!!

We spent 6 days here over our 3 week honeymoon. It was incredibly clean and tidy! We had an issue with the internet and they were very very responsive (the issue was fixed in a timely manner). It is a little tricky to find in the dark so I would recommend arriving in the daytime. Everything else about check-in was easy.

Mount Alfred view Tiny house.

CaitlinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Fantastic little house in a very peaceful location. Her recommendation to get food I. Queenstown was spot on so I’m very glad that was there. Check in was super easy and using the facilities was no problem at all. The view was also SPECTACULAR of those mountains. There’s also a walking trail you can get to easily that me and my husband loved. While I’m getting too old to go about in tiny homes it was so nice and quaint that I could have stayed there for weeks when I was younger. Thank you for letting us stay!
