Vacation rentals with beach access in Lake View, Chicago

Amy is an excellent host! She was so proactive about reaching out ahead of time and checking in on us. The unit was extremely clean! Easiest check in I have had with Airbnb—clear/specific directions. Amy was also super accommodating with our checkout time—we had a late flight (7:45pm) and we were able to check out at 5pm instead of noon which allowed us to maximize the last day of our trip! SO close to Loyola beach and has easy access to public transit. There are just a few improvements that would make this a perfect Airbnb: 1) the mattress is uncomfortable (extremely firm), 2) there is a beautiful kitchen but it is not well stocked with the basics (strainer, cooking utensils, pots, etc)—we made do by getting a little creative! Not a problem if you plan on eating out the whole time. 3) A few end tables would be nice for setting a glass of water/coffee etc, 4) needs a few more towels for being so close to the beach! Nonetheless, I would love to stay again and highly recommend!!

Really comfortable home with thoughtful details. Easy access to many parks and restaurants, and also close to everything we needed for our family event. Sheila was very warm and helpful. There was more traffic than I expected (Evanston is hopping!), but we still always found parking within half a block. Great stay!

We had a great time staying at Freddy’s place. We were travelling with our infant son and the spot was great for us and him. The neighbourhood was lovely, everything was easy to walk to and downtown Chicago was just a train ride away.

Man this place was awesome! It was so relaxing and peaceful. Everything was the way it was described. Definitely coming back!

Fantastic location in extremely walkable Lincoln Park. Literally steps from Lincoln Park which is sprawling and beautiful. Walk to shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, the zoo & more! Really easy access via CTA into downtown as well with stops right next to the location. The hosts were incredibly gracious, proactive and responsive. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the Chicago area!

We had a great stay in downtown Chicago at this apartment! Great views and we enjoyed having access to the pool since it was a beautiful weekend.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Liz’s. The apartment is beautiful with lots of space. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were very nice quality. The apartment is in a great neighborhood with a lot of good coffee and food in walking distance.

Once again, Holly & Mark provided a beautiful experience. They go above & beyond in hosting duties. A small example: I needed toothpicks for a project, & was about to go buy some, when Holly offered an assortment of 5 different kinds of toothpicks for me to choose from! I was staying for nearly two months, as I was teaching at Northwestern. The location was perfect! The neighborhood is friendly & has great restaurants & easy transportation. Holly & Mark are warm, wonderful, & take excellent care of their guests. It felt like home, & I look forward to staying there again the next time I’m in Chicago.

Great home and location. Safe neighborhood, walkable to restaurants, shopping, beach. Home was clutter free, clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of supplies for duration of stay (fresh towels, blankets, paper products, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) Rooftop deck with nice view. Host was very responsive with any questions and communicated well. House was perfect size for our group of 6. We appreciate Rasheed making our stay perfect! Will stay here again in the future.

This is great, quiet little neighborhood; it doesn’t feel like you’re in a big city. It was nice to go to a couple Cubs games, hang out in the city, enjoy the amazing food, and then head back to a quiet space. Specifically, Junni was very responsive and friendly. We had a couple little snafus that were all me but Junni was there to help and that’s unusual in my experience. I highly recommend and will do it again!

We had the best stay in Old Town! The Airbnb was wonderful and spacious for our family.

Words can’t describe how beautiful and clean the property and neighborhood is! The house is very spacious and modern. The basement is new, has a big room and bathroom with shower. The masters bedroom has a living room and GORGEOUS bathroom! The host provided cleaning supplies and even personal bathroom supplies for men and woman. The host was very nice and friendly 🥰 We had an incident with our previous AIRBNB and we had to rent this one last minute- The host responded at 1am letting us checked in at 1am. If you plan on staying here, please take care of it lol It’s such a lovely house! 100% Recommend!

This was a fantastic find! My whole party loved the place. It was clean and wonderfully located in a peaceful neighborhood close enough to transport to walk but far enough from the noise and bustle of downtown. Shawn was very responsive to any questions I had and was super kind and friendly! I absolutely would stay here again!!

Wow! I can’t say enough good things about Cheryl’s hosting! She and her husband went above and beyond for us. They are so responsive and friendly and even went so far as buying a pack and play for us last minute and jumping our car battery when it died! Talk about amazing! The place had everything we needed and the location was lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

Nicole and Ryan's place was amazing to host a large amount of people. It had plenty of space for everyone to hang out. The outside spaces were also a huge plus to the home. We thought all the bedrooms were great and super comfy. Would recommend anyone to stay here!

Our stay in Chicago wouldn’t have been what it was without this Airbnb. The at home feel and energy made the stay more than comfortable. We absolutely loved the neighborhood it was safe and quiet. The apartment was beautiful and tidy. The experience felt very personal with fresh baked cookies upon arrival, and a well equipped kitchen with things like eggs and butter being provided along with non alcoholic beverages. If I had to recommend an Airbnb in Chicago it would 100% be this one every time!

Everything was great! The location was perfect—close to most of the attractions we visited during our stay. We really appreciated how well everything was set up. The honey was a lovely touch, and we especially enjoyed the peaceful, quiet atmosphere away from the city. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Easy check in and close to LUC which is what we needed. Clean and comfortable. Bonus that it included parking.

Kyriako is a great host, and responded quickly to my messages. She gave very detailed instructions via video about how to check in and find the parking spot. This is a very nice rental in a lovely neighborhood only a few blocks from the beach! The building is quiet and secure. There are delicious restaurants within walking distance and the free parking spot in back was a real plus! I would definitely use this rental again in the future 😊

Chip and Lito's place is a dream! Spacious, clean, quiet, and convenient to restaurants, the "L", and the beach. Apartment is very well appointed, yet not cluttered. The shower is awesome! It was very nice to have a full kitchen, with coffee makers and dishwasher. I definitely plan to stay here the next time I visit Chicago!

Planned a weekend trip with our daughters and their partners to Chicago. Loved this location being outside of the city but very conveniently located to public transit. The house itself was beautiful and comfortable, with plenty of room for 6 adults. A perk was the driveway parking space for our car. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again when visiting Chicago!

WWWWOOOWWW!! This host team was EXCEPTIONAL! I’ve stayed in plenty of AirBnBs, and I’ve NEVER encountered a host that was so EXTREMELY accommodating, responsive, and kind! Other hosts should take a page out of their book! The only thing I would change, and it’s not a bad thing (just a matter of preference); I would have some type of blinds or drapes over the living room windows. This will allow for privacy when you’re sitting in the living/dining room areas at night with the lights on inside. Hands down, we would without a doubt book with this team again! Had an excellent time with my family at Ari’s place. It was very infant friendly and just as advertised. It’s easily walkable to the best places in Andersonville. We would stay here again!
