We would love to welcome you to our unique John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). The New Zealand Architect, John Scott, was an eccentric chap and was renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the air bnb community. A self contained wing of our home is located in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We are a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront.

Absolutely beautiful location, stunning views, pristine house, comfy bed and very private. Only thing we’d note is the hot tub is super dark around it and it has no steps to get in or out which felt a bit dangerous with having the drop around the edge. Absolutely recommend this place, we loved it and beautiful location.

We had a wonderful stay at Rachel and Derek’s. Beautiful home and views, private, spacious with everything you needed plus more. My family and myself all have great memories of our stay and the house being so comfortable and well equipped made this possible. We’ve found Bayley’s house a great place to stay for family. The plunge pool is so big and we enjoyed it very much. Everything is same as described and Bayley’s instruction is clear. So everything went smoothly, we recommend this place!

The property is on a quiet cul-de-sac, with great access to the river only a minute away and then a number of walks can be taken from the batch without having to drive anywhere, and if you just want to relax on site, it has everything you need. 6 family members had a wonderful stay. Loved the large living space with plenty of room for all ages and comfortable and stylish furniture. Wifi was good for all of us with devices, beds comfortable, shower had good pressure and it was good there was a 2nd toilet in the laundry with a full house. Friendly helpful host we really enjoyed our stay thank you for hosting us
