Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Norman of Catawba

Dear Robert and Charleen, Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. The Bird House is truly a gem, and you are blessed to own it. The pictures on Airbnb do not do the house justice. As I entered on Wednesday, my breath was taken away; the views of the lake and natural light filled every room. The beauty of the natural surroundings, together with the well-thought-out interior design and appointments, made our experience one to remember. My mother and I truly had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving. You had very clear notes regarding how to work everything (the blinds). Clearly, a lot of thought was put into what would make guests comfortable (lap blankets and a variety of lighting with dimmers), and all of the items one would use at home were in the kitchen, enabling us not to have one worry during our stay. We hope to return during warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors.

We have stayed at many Airbnbs over the years, and this place surpasses every one. It is perfect for a lake vacation, super clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The beds and linens were so nice, the couches comfy, the kitchen stocked with enough tools to cook good meals, and the outdoor areas and equipment were great. Seriously, I can't think of one thing that would make it better. Jody is a great host and accommodated our needs. We truly hope we can return to Lulu's again next year.

We had a great stay to celebrate my husband’s first Father’s Day. It was great to have direct access to Lake Norman and we had a great time kayaking and swimming with our 10 month old. Lake Norman State Park was just 15 minutes away and we had a great little hike there.

The house was great and there’s plenty of space, if there was anything we needed Skylar was responsive and good with communication. We will definitely be staying again.

This is a great place to stay. The location is nestled in a quiet cove and the house is close to many restaurants. The private dock was perfect to hang out on and take swim. We plan to come back in the future.

Great 4 bedroom home on the lake with 7 beds. The dock and beach were perfect for a lake getaway and close to most things to do on lake Norman. Only 30 mins from the charlotte airport, highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time and created a lot of great memories. Having the boat available directly from the house was very beneficial and host came over to assist with boat instructions which was appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful home! The views from the porch are just amazing. The house was spotless and kitchen was very well equipped. Perfect home for a family vacation. Nice modern furniture and bed linens were good quality and comfy. Jessica was very helpful with any issues we had and quick to respond. Would highly recommend!!

Had a wonderful time in Davidson. Mike’s studio was quiet and private, but also a quick drive to fun restaurants and close to Davidson College. Mike was proactive with communicating and instructions were clear and easy to follow!

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. Cathy was responsive. The apartment was classy, clean and neat. It rained while we were there but we still got out to enjoy Davidson and some great restaurants. My husband had to hold several Zoom meetings for work and the WIFI and internet worked great. No problems. Beautiful area and beautiful home and apt. Hope to go again.

Our stay here was Awesome! It's exactly what we needed. The space was lovely, beautiful, and very peaceful. I was in town handling some stressful business and I was able to escape into an oasis at Jaime's house. Thank you so much for being accommodating to me and my family.

Diane was extremely understanding and easy to work with, you can't ask for a better place to stay in the area with room to sleep 4. Note there is a half bath/laundry room and 2 couches on the first floor. The rest is on a second floor of this duplex.

We loved our stay here. It’s located a block off of a busy street but you can’t even tell, the neighborhood is very quiet. Great location and it was easy to get to things that are in the area (easy walk or you can rent a scooter). Very clean and the main living/kitchen area was much more spacious than I was expecting based on the photos. The host was also very responsive.

Marc’s place was stunning! The loft was beautiful and in a great area! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Charlotte.

Kristin’s place is a great home base to explore Midtown Charlotte. There are lots of local things to do, eat, and see in close proximity, a grocery store is across the street for those who want to cook away from home, and the surrounding neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. I would strongly recommend this place and this host.

Great stay. Host was super responsive. Only a twenty minute walk from Bank of America Stadium. The place had everything a person or couple would need for a great weekend in Charlotte.

Loved our stay! Lots of coffee shops and restaurants were in walkable distance, neighbors were not noisy, and the place was very nice. Would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Charlotte
