Just a short walk (or ski) to the lift so we could warm up, grab a snack or a quick nap before heading out to the trails again with ease. My family will definitely be going back to the loft!

Just awesome. Slopeside access, close to Tram Side and right on Grammy Jay which was easy for the littles to get the day started on the way to the double. When it was cold (once) we used the fireplace and the condo warms up quickly. Plenty of hot water. A near perfect stay. Fantastic!

Custom Cabin, Stowe/Montpelier (Family Bunk Room)

ColleenRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Dr. Rick’s cabin was a perfect space for our family of 3 and our dog to spend new years week. It’s very private and feels a world away from everything, yet a quick drive to downtown Montpelier and Waterbury. Dr. Rick was a great host, even arranged dinner reservations for us one evening. We had mud for a few days then plenty of snow for skiing at Stowe. The cabin is very nicely built, cozy, warm and well stocked. Definitely recommend staying here!
The cabin exterior is characterized by rustic wooden siding and a sloped metal roof. Large windows allow natural light into the interior. A spacious front porch provides access to the surrounding greenery. Trees create a natural backdrop, enhancing the secluded atmosphere.

"Dam Right" On Trail & Off-Grid too!

MelissaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a lovely stay at Dave and Linda’s place, and in Clarkesville in general. Being from the city in a different state, we appreciated the friendliness and help-your-neighbor attitude we experienced from the people we met here, who helped us tow our car out of a snow drift. Would definitely recommend snow chains or winter tires to drive on the roads nearest to Dave and Linda’s place if you’re staying in Winter. 1840 was our go-to restaurant while here, with great portions and prices, super fresh food, especially relative to what we are used to in the city. The cabin is truly incredible, hand-built by Dave himself and meticulously maintained. We were very warm throughout our stay, and Dave came and helped us prepare the driveway for our car to pull out, and maintain the walkways with salt. Probably the most helpful hosts we have experienced on Airbnb.
The interior of the A-frame cabin features a cozy sleeping area with a queen bed, dressed in a blue and white floral pattern. Soft lighting is provided by two bedside lamps. A rustic railing made of branches adds character, while a plush couch and area rug complete the inviting space.

Secluded getaway in White Mountains

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is our second time staying at Kate's place. We love the quite and peaceful location and the ability to walk and hike right out the door on the forest roads/ski trails up to Wildcat and Carter Dome. There are plenty of dishes and pots and pans for cooking, and all the accessories like a can opener and vegetable peeler. We enjoyed hearing an owl at night and watching the woodpeckers feed their babies in a tree outside the house. The basement bedrooms are cool and comfortable, and we absolutely love the old furniture and variety of books to peruse. It's a very comfortable place to stay!

We’d stayed at Will & Patti’s place before, prior to the pandemic, and were so pleased to see not much had changed - it’s still as beautiful and peaceful as we remember. The perfect place to get away for a weekend to hike and unplug from everything. We hope to stay longer next time!
