Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake George

Friends and I stayed at Julius’ place for the Blackfly Bike Race, it was conveniently located for the race and well suited for a weekend with friends. Nice amenities and beautiful views as well.

Very beautiful house with all the amenities needed for your stay! The house is super clean & in a convenient location. The hot tub was a lovely addition to our stay & was very clean. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Lake George area!

Leo & Michelle’s Lake house is great! Awesome spot with fantastic views off the lake. Close to Lake George & Saratoga Springs. Very quiet and relaxing. There was everything we needed for a lovely stay.

Paul provided clear and detailed instructions, making check-in a breeze. Although the official check-in time was 4 PM, he kindly reached out around noon on the day of our arrival to let us know the house was ready early—a thoughtful and accommodating gesture, even though we arrived after 4. The home is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and the outdoor space is equally impressive—peaceful and well-maintained. It's set back perfectly from the road, offering plenty of privacy while still being conveniently close to local attractions. A great balance of comfort, style, and location!

Thanks Matt for hosting us. The Airbnb was located in a beautiful location with the lake just directly opposite. It was also a comfortably short drive to Saratoga. This was my first ever experience with AirBNB. I couldn't have stayed at a better location for my first experience! Melissa's home was warm welcoming and beautiful. I stayed for four nights with my four children. There was plenty of space for all of us. Although my youngest still chose to sleep with me lol the bed was still big enough for the two of us. The pool was absolutely perfect, my kids loved it! The hot tub was very relaxing and very easy to use. My kids really enjoyed it too. The grill worked wonderfully and the fire pit was great for smores. The covered patio made watching my kids enjoy the pool even more relaxing for me, I'm a ginger so if I can be outside and out of direct sunlight that's a huge bonus for me. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. Melissa was very responsive when I had questions and I cannot thank her enough for the great week. We'll be back next June for another week! Can't wait to return to this fantastic vacation spot!

A fantastic week, The home is a great place to relax and get away. I highly recommend renting this location for the views and amenities. The host does not leave a thousand chores to do when you go to leave like other hosts. If you’re ever thinking about renting in lake George, save this listing.

We had an absolutely amazing girls trip at Brianna’s River Cottage! The home is BETTER than expected! Beautiful private location, ample sitting areas, loved the fire pits decks, the fact that kayaks were right there available to use, plenty of bathrooms, close to Saratoga and Lake George, with the 5 of us, Brianna’s home felt like a huge paradise. It was great to be laughing that hard with friends again enjoying each others company like old times- we were barely on our phones just living in the moment! Absolutely recommend staying here, completely exceeded expectations, while we did go out and explore the communities and hiked, we loved the River Cottage so much we spend most of our time there, relaxing and grilling. Highly suggest!

Kerri was extremely responsive and accomodating. I enjoyed the stay in Saratoga and the location was perfect to access downtown without being in a busy area. The place was immaculate and extremely comfortable with all of the amenities needed. Thank you Kerri!

Wonderful peaceful spot, affordable and gorgeous location! Great response time and super cute (and really quiet) doggers peeking at us in the window when we were leaving. Great spot!

We keep coming back to this beautiful apartment that is both spacious and elegant while feeling homey and cozy. It’s quiet, immaculately clean with a very comfy bed, nice hot shower, everything you need in the eat-in kitchen.

Wonderful peaceful spot! Flowing River in the back of the house and beautiful lake and mountains in the front across the street. Kayaks & paddleboat available but unfortunately I wasn’t able to use them this time but I will be back! Thanks Doc!

We were very happy with the place. It was well stocked for whatever you needed. We asked about breakfast places because we needed to eat out one morning and they responded that they supplied eggs, bread, English muffins, and coffee. Everything was super clean and updated. We loved sitting on the front porch swing and looking at the beautiful flowers. Bennington, VT (groceries, restaurants, and a great toy store) was about 15 minutes away and Williamstown was 22 minutes away. Would highly recommend if you need a place to stay in the area.

We had a fantastic stay at Mara's beautiful home. The location was very peaceful, and there were a number of snacks and drinks provided. A very short drive to Saratoga Springs and surrounding towns.

This was the perfect spot to stay in while visiting Ballston Lake! Very spacious and cozy as the photos captured, and being next to the farm was a very nice view. Thomas and Nina were excellent hosts, and the cottage was well stocked with supplies like extra linens, toiletries, cooking utilities, and snacks. Everything was very clean and furnished, exactly as the listing described; would definitely recommend it to a friend!
