Beachfront vacation rentals in Lake Erie

The place I stayed felt like home, and I was treated like family by the owner. Was an amazing place to stay at. If I’m ever in the area again, I definitely see myself coming back.

We had a fabulous stay at Lorry’s beachfront cottage. The views are phenomenal, and what makes this place so special. The place was extremely clean and new. Our toddler loved playing in the sand right outside the cottage, and we frequently walked to the sandbar to the left of the cottage where there was a perfect spot for him to splash in the shallow water. There are lots of great little ice cream places and food trucks near by. The cottage was VERY well stocked with everything you may need, and even a wonderful tea selection. Great new BBQ and appliances. Truly, a little slice of heaven.

Definitely recommend this place, It was so peaceful and the house was so clean with all amenities. would recommend it for a peaceful experience. The host was very friendly and actively responded to msges (just one thing that could be improved was the beach area was not very clean) but overall a 5 star..

Alway enjoy staying here. Dave and his wife have always been super helpful. Their place is always clean and ready for your stay. We will certainly be back again soon.

Bert's properties are all they advertise to be and more. We rented the large home and one of the cottages during our family gathering. Everyone had an incredible time and cannot wait to return. We enjoyed bonfires every night, walks on the beach, whiffel ball games in the front lawn. Bert was easily accessible when I had a personal request, which was greatly appreciated. The home is beautifully decorated. The views are to die for!

Just spend a very relaxing week at LIana’s lake front cottage. We all had a wonderful vacation. There is a beautiful deck and hot tub to enjoy the views of Lake Erie in the backyard. It also has its own little beach where you can go for a swim everyday to cool off. It is so quiet with the only sound being the breeze coming off the water. Check in was very smooth and LIana was such a wonderful host. Anytime I had a question before and during our stay she got back to me right away. It definitely felt like home away from home and I loved the fact that it was also dog friendly so I could bring my dog with us. My dog had a blast on the beach going swimming everyday. All in all a great experience that I would definitely recommend. Thanks again LIana for everything. We all enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave.

Rose Beach Retreat was built in 2023. The cottage was clean, fresh and comfy with modern conveniences ( many outlets, ceiling fans, excellent lighting). The kitchen was well appointed, had new appliances, every small appliance you would need and well stocked with everyday cooking extras. The bedrooms were bright & roomy with each having a large closet. The spacious front front porch provides a great view of Lake Erie and the public beach across the road. Rondeau Provincial Park with its hiking trails and beach is nearby. Erieau is a great place to visit, as well. This is truly a wonderful home, away from home. Molly always communicates quickly. We are already booking for next year.

All the reviews are accurate. Well maintained unit and property. Lots of amenities. VERY clean. Nice decorations to go with the lake theme. Putt -Putt and ice cream across the street. Friendly and responsive owner and manager. It was a great place for three couples to celebrate turning 60. Planning on returning in October! THANKS!! (Binoculars were a nice touch) we stayed on property, so we did not use it, but reasonably priced transportation to the wineries or bars...better than a DUI.

Location was great. Beautiful view of Lake Erie. Very clean, tasteful and had great fun with friends for a girls weekend getaway. Recommend Shawna’s place!

This was the absolute perfect location, price and amenities we could have hoped for! LOVED that the beach, pool & playground was a 3min walk (with little kids!) Beach was small but perfect. Pool was amazing because of the odd design it allowed areas for “kids” to play and splash but also a big enough area for older folks to do laps and relax. Loved that the pool also had shallow part for kids to walk into / sit. Thank you for the Ice-Cream store recommendation - The Ice Shanty. Was VERY close , affordable and AMAZING! A must for the family. Jessica - thank you for opening your amazing home , a little home away from home. Was more than we could have hoped and expected. Kids LOVED waking up seeing the sunrise. We would absolutely love to visit here again!!

Our two families - 4 adults, 5 teenagers - spent a week here. The accommodations are absolutely lovely. We woke up to a gorgeous view of the lake every morning and enjoyed the beach, the pool, and the hot tub. The kids loved the game room! And the casita is steps away from the main house; we felt no security concerns with having three of our children sleep there. While facing the lake, the home is backed by private woods and a long drive. The adults enjoyed walking/running both on the shore front and on the nearby Friendship Trail - a paved path through the woods. The Falls were a 30 minute drive, Niagara-on-the-Lake and the wine region were a 40 minute drive, and we also took the GO train to Toronto and spent a day there. Otherwise, we lounged at home. And on those days, BBQ enthusiast Brad Billard at cnddrumsmokerandco cooked for us, recommended by our host, Teri. His meals were delicious! We recommend the smoked brisket and the pork ribs. All in all, a winner of a property!

My daughter and I enjoyed our weekend away and this condo was perfect! The views were awesome and peaceful. Loved the private beach to sit and read. Restaurants were within walking distance so didn't even have to get in the car!

My sisters and I stayed at the Bluecoast Bunkie as a one night getaway, it was the perfect spot for us. You are immersed in nature and the bunkie is brand new and very clean. It’s a small space but you have everything you need. Not a great fit for those with accessibility issues as access to the lake may pose as an issue. Dayna and David are great hosts, welcoming and communicative! Would highly recommend :)

Our cottage was exactly as pictured and described. The sunsets were so beautiful and the kids loved seeing Cedar Point across the water. The cottage was very clean as were all outdoor common areas. The host provided plenty of linens including towels, washcloths, and extra blankets. The tiny home was perfect for our family of four and could easily fit a couple more. Just the basics were provided in the kitchen (appliances, utensils) so if you plan on cooking meals, you'll need to be a little more prepared :) My daughter loved the pool (also very clean!) and it never had more than a few people there at a time, which was nice. The common bathrooms and common areas were very clean and only ever had a few people there at a time even though the campground itself was full. They even had free donuts in the clubhouse Sunday morning which was a nice surprise! We loved being in close proximity to Cedar Point and Put-in-Bay, it made for a memorable weekend getaway for our family. We will be back!

Beautiful place to visit. The studio was super clean, inviting and so comfortable. The view was beautiful- waking up to the sunrise every morning. A stone's throw to the beach, which was very clean and well kept. A great getaway for downtime and privacy. Not a lot to do other than the beach, but a state park only 15 minutes away. Would definitely book this place again!

What an excellent way to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the waterfront sights and sounds of nature. The cottage was exactly as advertised, spotless on arrival, and it was pure gold place to stay. I can not remember the last time that the was able to feel as relaxed as I did this week just listening to the waves and watching the multitudes of species of birds that came to see us. We will for sure be back!

Amazing place! Very clean and it was nice to have the A/C. Beautiful view and my kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing. It was a short drive to port Dover beach we went swimming and got ice cream on the boardwalk. This was the best cottage experience.

this place was an amazing stay for me and my girlfriends trip! we were obsessed with the house and the views. tony answered all our questions promptly and sent someone to look at the hot tub while we were there. we definitely hope to be back in the future!

Gorgeous Lake Huron at your doorstep. Heavenly sunrises, beach fires, outdoor dining. Beautiful covered back deck. Cottage very comfortable- fully stocked kitchen. We barbecued almost every night watching the boats go by. Absolutely loved lake living!

The Haven was in a beautiful location and is an awesome house that was perfect for our group. It has lots of room for everyone, as well as all the fun outdoor toys to keep everyone busy! Thanks for another great time!

This home is absolutely beautiful! The house is spotless and well stocked in every room--everything you need to cook a gourmet meal in the kitchen--plenty of towels for inside and outside. The bathroom is luxurious! There are so many amenities! Joan has thought of everything including phone/watch/qi charging pads on the nightstands. Good internet speed. The neighborhood is so peaceful and the setting on the lake is amazing with views from multiple sides. We enjoyed coffee in the morning outside in one of the many sitting areas with the peaceful waves lapping the shores and wine from the many vineyards by the gas fire pit right outside the master bedroom. I would highly recommend this property!

Our first trip to Canada & this BnB did not disappoint. The lake views were beautiful & relaxing. Enjoyed them from the patio, fire table, & hot tub. There was also a stunning Bald Eagle that perched in the tree above the patio several times during our stay. House was very clean and well appointed. Close to wineries & downtown Amherstburg which had great restaurants, shops, & weekend festivities. Bilal, the host was super responsive to any inquiries I had and allowed for flexible check in & out that worked great with our travel itinerary which was greatly appreciated. Would love to visit again.
